What is a Keetin?

Keetins are small, agile mouse creatures that live within the trees of any forested climate in the world, and are closely related to the Twiglet species. They can't run very fast or fly, but they are terrific at leaping and climbing, despite their short limbs. These little guys tend to be tamed as companions and will often be seen riding their handler's shoulder, pockets or hiding in their hair. Keetins will never grow any larger than a squirrel, baby Keetins (called Kits) can be as small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. A Keetin's diet consists of their favourite food, Strawberries! However they are also seen eating other fruits and sometimes cakes.
A group of Keetins is called a Keetai (pronounced key-tie). They communicate through a series of small pips and mews.
When happy, a Keetin will release a scent from a gland inside it's ear, making it smell beautifully like strawberries.

This design was slightly inspired by Howl from Howl's Moving Castle, typically just because I listened to the theme song from the movie as I designed this boy eue

Calcifer
I am a big fan of Howl's Moving Castle so I thought Calcifer would be perfect.

Personality:
Calcifer is boyish and thinks he's always right, he'd be the first to walk straight into trouble without giving it a second thought. He can be brash and make hasty decisions often without thinking it through. He's a bit of a larger than life type of guy and likes to make his presence known to those around him. His in your face personality can sometimes be a bit much for other Keetins and he can come off as annoying. However if another keetin was in danger he'd be the first one in there giving his all to help.

Ryū is a troublemaker. Whether he's purposefully knocking books off shelf's, attacking pillows on a neatly made bed, to causing mayhem in the kitchen going after the fruits basket. He's always into something whether he's allowed to or not. His rambunctiousness is one of the things that makes him fiery and lively even though he's mostly out of control, but once you ware him down and give him a little scolding. He's a well behaved Keetin as long as he give him plenty of attention or else he'll makes his own. Which will cause him to his famous last words are always used to get himself out of trouble, but they usually wind up getting him into more trouble. Did it mention he's a naughty little liar?
