Rukami (Gulo Stantes) are a newly discovered species of bipedal mammals. Though they resemble wolves, they are actually more closely related to the mustelid family, which includes wolverines, otters, and badgers to name a few. Through natural selection, these rare animals evolved to incredible sizes and developed sentient brains along with opposable thumbs.

A look into his past....
Incendius was abandoned at birth and raised by a group of metalworkers. They specialized in flames, and embedding the powerful element of fire into materials. From an early age, Dius was taught how to work the fires and bend the metals. He showed talent from the beginning, and he was somewhat of a prized part of the Metalworking guild. His best friend, a boy called Bran, was jealous of Dius's success. He gave Incendius a cursed pendant that could never be removed. It was filled with toxins that were supposed to seep out and burn away Dius's heart. However, it backfired, and fueled by his already unusually strong connection to fire, the poison in fact helped Dius's control over flames. Years past, the sun warming the guild and mild winters giving them a short cooldown. Then one winter, a long, icy storm came. The metalworkers couldn't find fuel to feed their flames, and they began dying. Incendius however burned with an inner fire. He carried wood back that he could find, but it was no use. Before summer came again, all of the guild but one, his best friend, were dead. Wracked with grief, the fiery young wolf fell into a icy state. However, he still strove to protect his best friend. One day though, he woke in the middle of the cold night to see his former friend standing over him with a hammer, ready to kill Incendius for meat. Wracked with fury and pain from the betrayal, the Rukami attacked, knocking away the ex-friend into the flames, but not before his friend knocked Dius backwards into fire. Now, all alone, Incendius lived through the icy winter, filled with pain and sadness. His fur was ragged and patchy, and his skin was pockmarked and burned. He curled up in the ice, letting it fuel a cold anger, while the flame inside kept him alive. Eventually, his fur grew back, and he took over the empty forge, working by himself and becoming more distant and cold. He still lives there to this day, working, and occasionally coming down the mountain to fight and kill with a cold fury.
This, however is a very brief summarizing of his history; this will be expanded upon with many different events if I get him!
He prefers to be alone, working on machinery, especially that that has to do with flames. He's an excellent engineer, and he's created flame cannons, gloves, wings, and all sorts of fire related machinery. He's most content when tinkering with machines. When he's with other living beings, he can vary widely in behavior, going from fiery and friendly with those he likes to cold as ice and mistrusting towards any others. He isn't very well understood, and most tend to stay away from him due to his unfriendly attitude at times. He is very odd and considered a bit mysterious and scary. Those who approach him describe him to contain a rather 'cold fire' in his heart at all times. And he wouldn't beg to differ. He is also a fan of Wolverine, a superhero Rukami with retractable bone claws on top of his normal ones. He is a murderer, and this sometimes plagues his conscious, but he tries to ignore it. Sometimes he ends up tormenting himself with the deeds he's done, but when this happens, he typically tries to bury them in the back of his mind. He is occasionally hire-able as a mercenary when he needs money to pay for some materials. He's actually kind of lonely in all truth with all his friends gone. He also doesn't really care what others think of him using fire weapons to enhance his powers; if they have a problem with it then he'll welcome them to a fight. Where they see weakness, he sees just another opportunity to enhance his strength.
He is very athletic, easily reaching incredible speeds and leaping tall buildings in a single bound.
He adores chasing and hunting just about anything, whether it be a bandit or just some unfortunate civilian who got in his way while he was in a bad mood. He's rather short and stocky, but better not mention it or he'll get angry. Incendius loves to fight as well, often throwing punches at just about anything that suits his fancy. His favorite method of fighting is using gloves and arm protecters that he can set aflame to attack, and when he does this, his strikes are quick and deadly. His pendant also helps boost his speed and abilities to a maximum each time the planet Mercury finishes a complete rotation around the sun (every certain 116 days).
As a quick explanation, this is for creativity. Any added art, literature, music etc. that seems to fit him will be here ^^ There may be more depending on how busy I am.
