So, this baby is going UFA !

We love him (of course) and we'd love to expand the family from just Icseal, Crimsoned and myself! We've come
up with a four names that we ( but by no means are required ) liked a lot;; Nitori, Touka, Momotarou or Momo. Kaneki oh yeh B ) or TWELVE -shot-

The contest itself will be a short contest. If you choose to do a story for the extra, keep it under 600 words, if you want to do art, only 1 piece. The contest is based mostly on the family relationships and the writing there is unlimited though we're looking for how well they fit into the family.

And tips that'll help you win some brownie points, from this judge at least !

ｕｓｅｒｎａｍｅ ;; balto. - I used to be { shannon, and have recently changed. I will eventually change back to my old username, which is also my username for the JBD Hangout.
ｎａｍｅ ;; Nitori Touka - Nitori being his first name and the other being his second. I thought Nitori suited this boy, but I also used Touka as his middle name as it also seemed to fit with this bean somehow, personality-wise for the character I have planned.
ａｇｅ ;; Nitori is only at the age of seven - this is so young that he doesn't have to have too many responsibilities - he can be a carefree kid. But at the same time, he isn't too young that it'd be too difficult for me to roleplay him and develop a character for. Seven years old seemed to fit.
ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ ;; Nitori is a very loud, imaginative and boisterous soul. He likes to make a lot of noise, and be the loudest in his home if he can. This often causes him to get into trouble, or lose his voice for a short while - despite this, he doesn't learn his lesson, and does not understand the concept of 'inside voices'. He likes to muck about and cause a ruckus, often keeping both of his mothers on their toes and watching out to make sure he doesn't hurt himself by accident. He looks at it all as if it is all fun and games - which, of course, any seven year old would think. He is clumsy - and breaks things as well with his games, such as vases or really any fragile object - he apologies for it, as he doesn't mean to do it - he is only having fun.
Apart from the child-like fun and games he has, he likes to use his imagination, his mind, and come up with things others might not be able to, which will be kept in his mind until later in his life, of course. He likes to put some of the more simpler ideas - the ones he can actually understand, on paper - draw them, basically. He likes to draw, and paint - and may develop a loving for any other arts as he gets older, but these two are the ones he understands, knows how to do, and plus, he can consider them fun for his under-developed brain. When drawing or colouring, he just does scribbles at the moment that only he can understand, and with painting, why bother using a paintbrush when you can use your own paw? He likes to get messy with his painting, and uses bright colours. You find him after he finishes a 'masterpiece', and both his fore paws - up to the shoulder, and his tail fluff, will be covered and stained in paint, with the occasional splotches that might get onto his face and the rest of his fur.
Nitori is a very playful boy, and is often likely to go up to a stranger bean his age and ask if they want to play a game of tag or hide-and-seek. He can make friends easily, if he tries and if the other little bean wants a friend - which most probably do. His loud attitude can sometimes scare the shyer ones away, but he sometimes tries to follow them, look for them and apologize for his loud voice, and ask if they would like to be his friend. After this, and if they accept to be his friend, he will sometimes be loud still when around them, even if he tries to keep his 'inside' voice on. If the other young bean rejects, he pouts, but leaves them alone until the next time they meet - if there is a next time.
Some teens and adults like to think that he purposely is only troublesome around them - that may be true, or it may not. He likes to cause a bit of trouble, and with being clumsy you can not find another bean who gets into as much trouble as this little guy does. He tries to get out of it - but that doesn't work most of the time for him - but he is practicing at trying to get better. He can also be a bit stubborn towards others - by accident or not. That is just his character. Around his parents and siblings though, he tries to be on his very best behavior, although it doesn't work all the time for him.
ｒｅｌａｔｉｏｎｓｈｉｐ ｗｉｔｈ ｆａｍｉｌｙ ｍｅｍｂｅｒｓ ;;
ginkgo -- mother
Nitori loves all of his family, and could possibly never choose favourites, especially between his two mothers who he loves equally - but if he had to choose - which in any case he would never - he would have to say that Gingko, is his favourite parent (again, he would never want to choose). He just thinks she is the best ever, and simply adores her as a son would adore their mother. He is a mummy's boy - more to Gingko to Aka. He has given her a nickname, so sometimes instead of calling her 'mummy' he'll call her Gingy - since he can't really call her by her name anyway, so alternative nicknames work for him. He loves to be around his mother, even if they're not doing anything fun, sometimes he can just sit there and watch whatever she is doing, especially if he finds it amusing or fun to watch, which with a seven year old mind like his, he probably would. In saying that, if he isn't watching her doing anything, he tries to play with her all the time - if it be that he asks if they can play a game, or if he sneaks up behind her before pouncing, like a kitten would to its mother. Overall he thinks she is really cool, the best mother a little boy could have, and is greatly connected to her.

aka -- mother
Nitori loves Aka as much as he loves Gingko. Her motherly personality makes him feel all warm inside when he is around her. She is the perfect culprit for when he wants a hug, as he always says that she gives the best. He tries to especially be on his best behavior around Aka, because he doesn't want to mess up and be a bad boy. He can talk to her about a lot of things, and will sometimes follow her around if he can't find Gingko, but in saying that he would say that his mother Aka is fun to be around with, he can just sometimes sit there silently, and he often comes to her if he runs out of supplies to paint or draw with (despite the fact she might not trust him with paint completely, in case he decides to paint all over the house.) If he gets paint, she is usually his test subject' if he tries the paint on another bean, or wants to, anyway. He will often go to her to also ask - even plead - for something he may want, but can't get himself. All in all, he loves her a lot, and would probably consider her to be one of his best friends, if he had to choose one. He doesn't have a nickname for her as he does for Gingko, as her name is only three letters long - but their bond is a strong as a bond would be between mother and son.

mikasa -- oldest sister
Nitori thinks his oldest sister is pretty cool, but she can be a bit scary for him at times. Being a seven year old, he is sure to find some things scary that might not be scary to the rest of his family, and one of those things is Mikasa. He still loves her, but only sometimes he might try to avoid her. But he thinks she's pretty cool and she can be considered one of his idols too - one of the beans he looks up to, and will continue to give him inspiration...in a strange way. Its not that her personality is scary of anything - but the appearance she can have sometimes can scare him - he tries to put it aside but it is a struggle for him.

pann -- oldest brother (adopted)
Nitori adores his oldest brother to an extent. He thinks he is cool and one good bean to hang around with and talk to. He might not see him as much as his three other siblings (excluding Mikasa), when he does get the time to hang with the older bean he tries to make it worth the while. He doesn't fully understand the concept of Pann being 'adopted', but when others say that they aren't real brothers, Nitori just says something along the lines of 'well, he's a brother to me'.

zelda -- older sister
Nitori thinks his sister is funny, and a really cool bean to be around...although he does say she can get a bit too weird at times, so he'll only really 'hang out' with her when he has nothing else to do or no one else to hang out with. (but considering the size of his family, there will almost always likely be another family member to go and annoy.) He thinks Zelda's pick up lines are strange - what are pick up lines anyway, is what he'll usually ask himself when she says one or has to tell him what she just said - and they are even stranger then his sister herself.

link -- older brother
Nitori isn't sure what to think of Link...sure, he loves his brother, and he always will, but like with Zelda, he does consider him a bit strange. He sometimes calls his brother 'Li', as a nickname, which is just taking the 'nk' off his name. But as I said, Nitori does consider him a bit weird, in seven year old standards, but he likes to be around him, when he gets the chance - as it is amusing for the little bean since it doesn't take that much to amuse him. He just wishes Link wasn't so...weird, or strange...he can't really come up with a better word then those.

jean -- older brother
If Nitori had to choose which sibling was his favourite, he would say Jean is, and that his brother always will be. Apart from the fact Jean is the youngest after Nitori, the little bean considers him to be a huge inspiration, and always looks up to him. He would call Jean his best friend, much like he does with Gingko. He likes to be around his brother, just being in the sheer presence makes him happy enough. When the little bean gets bored around his older brother, you can often find him attempting to chew his ears - not a very good snack, but a nice 'game' to entertain him.

toby -- nephew
If he had to choose a best friend apart from Ginkgo, he would have to choose Toby. Despite the fact that they are around the same age - Toby being a tad younger then he is, he loves to play with his nephew. Its nice to know someone else in his family that is around the same age he is, instead of everyone being older then him. He likes to use Toby as a painting canvas sometimes - he likes to say his cousin could use a little bit of 'colour'.

ｓｔｏｒｙ ;; It was a nice day, outside. The sun was up high in the sky, no clouds in sight. It was warm, and the perfect weather for anyone to be out and about, having fun and playing games.
All except one certain little bean, who was content with staying home and inside for the day, despite how nice the outside seemed.
The little green and pink boy was sitting in his room, staring at the big, bare wall on the left side of his room with curious eyes. It was so bare - white. Too plain for his liking, but it wasn't like he could draw on it with coloured pencils - he had already tried that, but his mothers had cleaned it off easily, and of course, he had gotten in trouble for it.
But now he had a new plan.
Nitori had been given some paint for his birthday by his family, a combined preasent, he was given a few colours - just the main ones of red, green, blue, yellow, orange and purple, along with white and black. He planned on using them, but had no idea what...until today. The cans of paint - which were only small cans - were placed beside him, unopened. He took one, and attempted to open it - failing. His claws couldn't get it to open, so he had to place the cans down and walk out of his room, going to the kitchen to grab a fork before going back, and closing his door behind him - he didn't want anyone to walk past and see the making of the surprise he was planning.
He took the fork, and after a few moments of trying to figure it out, he was finally able to open the can he was holding - the green paint. He grinned, going around and opening the others, eyes bright. The substance within the cans got him excited, he couldn't wait until this was done! He then dipped his paw into the green paint, immediately drawing it back as it touched the paint. His claws and the tip of his toes were covered in the paint, and he smiled. He would like painting. He then dove his paw back into the paint, before he bought it out and lifted his paw to the wall, which was dripping the paint.

later...

Gingko and Aka had made their way to their youngest sons room - he hadn't been out for hours, and it was time for dinner. Aka opened the door, peeking in, and saw the surprise that had been hidden, that had been made by the young bean.
The wall was now no longer bare - it had the bright colours of his paint on it, and what looked like to be the painting of some beans - his family. It wasn't good - just circles and lines and some colour to represent each family member, their names above them - he was even in the painting too. And under the painting of the 'beans' was the words 'I love my family' with a badly painted love heart at the end - his spelling wasn't perfect, and you could hardly tell what he had painted, but his mothers could tell what it was just by looking at it.
Laying underneath the painting, curled up, covered in paint (especially his legs and tail fluff - alternative paintbrushes, it seemed), was Nitori, sleeping soundly, exhausted from the hard work he had endured.
Both of his mothers smiled, and Aka took the young boy into her arms carefully, before the two mates walked out, going to get their son cleaned before tucking him to bed.
