Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a
unique breed of pythons that
have paint seeping from their
tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly
smaller than their close cousins,
ball pythons, females being around
2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long.
Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at
only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent,
and PTP are no exception. PTP tend
to be quite shy when first introduced
to their owners, but will warm up quickly
and soon become inseparable. PTP have
exceptionally long lifespans, and have
been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

What is this PTP's favorite time of day?:
Syther's favorite time of day is exactly mid day, when the sun is at it's highest. Why you might ask? Because Syther is the type of PTP that enjoys lazying the day away on a heated rock, having her scales warmed up by the sun's comforting rays.

What is this PTP's favorite time of day?: Schmendrick adores high noon. The sun is high and everything is illuminated and though his eyes are not that good, he enjoys watching the light bounce off of and smother things. And as high noon is when the birds sing the loudest, though his ears are barely functional, he enjoys trying his hardest to catch bits of it. Everything is peaceful, and he loves it.
Story:
____Schmendrick had been sleeping throughout the morning, as he always did. In his dreams, he anticipated a great vibration. He awoke as it rolled up and rattled the dresser his enclosure sat upon. He knew what this meant. His owner always slept when noon came. He pressed his nose to a spot of the glass that face his owner's bed that was not smeared with fecal matter (he considered himself an "eccentric" painter in his decision to not use his paint to paint). He saw the fuzzy image of the Tempurpedic mattress, no frame, in the corner with his owner slumped on it. Braindead on impact, Schmoo would think to himself, his he were capable of such advanced sapient thought.
____With that familiar warning sign, he slithered to the opposite side of the glass tank. This side did not have the heat lamp over it, and instead was lit and warmed by the light of the window next to it. He once again pressed his nose to the glass, trying with all his might to focus his eyes as the light flooded into his room, freed from the cloud that had prevented it from completing it's path. Schmoo felt almost instantly warmed, almost instantly relaxed, and let out a soft sneeze of contentment. His tongue flicked out, then hastily retreated. He was warm and happy, and slowly slipping back into sleep, escorted by the lovely sight of the light building to it's crescendo.

What is this PTP's favorite time of day?: Just when the night meets the day. It's when she begins to get sleepy from being up in her tank all night, and she gets too fall asleep to the sound of her human getting out or\f bed and ready for the day. But sometimes, it's when Morgan's just waking up herself; and she can see her care-giver until the duties of life call them apart.

Bright, crisp early mornings. She loves the dew on the grass, the bright sunlight, and the bird song. Her favourite thing to do in these early mornings, is take walks (I don't know if you would call it this since she's a snake). Addie loves to go on walks through neighborhoods and look for things that inspire her, albeit dew on grass, unopened flowers, or birds nests. She also has a leather bound journal filled with pressed flowers she's found over the years.

A B O U T T H E N A M E
The name Adeline means noble in German. But this name has a special meaning to me, as it is the name of my best friend, whom I've known since we were born. I unfortunately had to move away from her and the rest of my friends several months ago. I chose to name this PTP Addie to honour her.
