For any duns, you might want to add leg barring and a dorsal stipe. 'Brown Duns' are usually a darker color as well. And more brown rather then golden. Brown Duns are actually not a offical horse coat x3

"brown dun" is the term used for brunblakk fjord desgins.
It has some of the characteristics of the fjord so I named it accordinly.

would "brunblakk" be acceptable instead?
I was unsure which one to use.

Mainly only fjord horse colors are for fjord horses. None of the brunblakk can pass to any other regular horse. Unless possibly a mix of fjord and other horses would accur but it is highly unlikely and I am guessing that this adopt is a purebred only kind of thing. So meaning, no fjord x Icelandic Pony mixes.

as pure fjords.

But "purebred" icelandics cant have appie markings (blankets ect) and Ive seen many artists do those?
So why cant I use characterists from other breeds in my desgins? c:

No I am saying that Brunblakk/Brown Dun cannot be used for Icelandic Horses. It can only come with Fjords. The appaloosa markings are fine, as their are horses called 'dilutes'. Like for example, a arabian can have tobiano on it. But it will be called a dilute. Though, dilutes do not apply with any coat colors. Only markings.

Preppy paws, could you please stop mini-modding. I have noticed that you've been doing it quite often, and I really don't need for you to do such a thing. I'm capable of handling situations, as well as gator.
