Story;; I didn't think I was beautiful. The way others look at me is like asking why do I exist? I'm scared of the world, for I am powerless. I'm not even sure I belonged here... I knew it for sure when I bumped into someone by accident. "S-Sorry!" I stammered as the figure loomed over me. "Why do you even exist?" It hissed as I was frightened. I ran off into a direction, a path I made myself. I ended up at a river, looking down into my reflection. "I can't stand it. Why am I part of the world? I'm nothing but a pathetic runt!" I shouted at myself before continuing to run, following the river until I ended up at a lake. I slowed down, padding. I followed the lake to where a waterfall was, sighing. "The waterfall is beautiful...I was just as beautiful." I say to myself and bent down to drink the water. I lifted up my head, hearing a strange voice inside my head. You're beautiful, inside out. It's the thought that counts. I shook my head. "No it isn't." I said glumly. It's what you think. "Get out of my head!" I cried out, tears streaming down my face. People can't judge you for what you look like. It's your personality that makes you beautiful. I hesitated before looking back at where I came from. "W-What do you mean?" I asked. A beautiful Plumerian. They know what's right and they know how to deal with things without a fight. You can be brave. I shook my head, reluctantly walking back. "I'm not beautiful." I repeated to myself over and over again. Stop that! You never will be if you keep on talking negatively! My ears pricked. "I'm beautiful. I'm beautiful!" I put a paw out before shouting again. "I'm Serah and I know that I can be beautiful!" I raced back, bumping into the same Plume. "Sorry." I said, looking up at the Plume. "Hey! You're that same Plumerian who ran away crying!" It laughed at me. "That was another story. You don't have to be mean, I just bumped into you on accident." I said, looking up at the other Plumerian without flinching. "So you say." That was all the Plumerian said before walking off. See? It was without a fight. I nodded to myself, walking around. "Hello!" I said to Plumerian after Plumerian, and to my surprise, they said hello back! I guess all I needed to do was open myself up. Thank you. What is thank you for? It was you who did it. I'm just your conscience, that's all. I smiled to myself.

a story:

The young plumie ran out to the car to help his mom carry in the groceries. “Did you get me my orange soda Mommy?” he asked excitedly. “Oh, I’m sorry honey, but they were out of orange! I wasn’t sure what flavor to get, so I got you grape. Is that okay?” she said sadly.
For a second it looks like he’s trying to register it in his mind, the terrible thought almost too much to bear[1]. “MOM, HOW COULD YOU?” he screamed at her. “Sweetie, I’m sure it’ll be good, maybe you’ll even like it more than the orange!” his mom tried to comfort him. “You know I don’t like trying new things![2]” he yelled, running to his room.
Now he sat on his bed, arms crossed, being mad at his mom. But he had brought the bag of groceries into his room, and he could see the top of a glass bottle poking out of the top of the bag. Well, I suppose it can’t hurt to try it… he thought. Glancing around as if to make sure no one was watching, he pulled the cap off with his teeth and tilted his head back, getting a sweet sip of bubbly, fizzy, soda. Gou’s eyes widened, and he took a big chug of it, grinning crazily[3]. WOW! I’ve been missing out, all these years! he thought. This is great! Gou ran to his mom, filled with shame, and he apologized for his outburst.
He asked for her to make him a pin out of the cap to remember this day, and she wrote the date on the inside and everything. Ever since he’s gotten his grape soda every Friday when his mom went to the store, and he drinks it slowly, enjoying the flavor he had missed out on for so long.

Story;; Charlotte dashed up to her apple tree and said "I was there first!" to her imaginary friend Rosemary. Then Charlotte hopped on the old wooden stool her father made for her. She grabbed a red, ripe, juicy apple and took a bite out of it. "Isn't this the best apple on earth Rosemary?" She said trying to grab another apple. Rosemary said "Oh why yes, these apples are the best." Charlotte ran all the way over to the creek. Charlotte dipped her paws in the water letting the water flow create an interesting ripple. "Rosemary, why does the water go like that?" said Charlotte in curiosity. "Well, the water forms..." said Rosemary as Charlotte interrupted her. "BOR-ING!" said Charlotte all embarrassed. Charlotte looked up to the sky and said "Look at that blue jay!" As Rosemary said "Lets get more apples, I hope your mother will make her famous apple pie!". The two girls ran up on her deck and opened the sliding door, took off their boots and went up to the counter with 13 apples. Charlottes Mother said "Why, the apples are in season!" "Can you make us some apple pie Mom?" Said Charlotte. "Us?" thought her mother. "Yes dear please wait a while though." Charlotte Started peeling and slicing the apples, and mashing the apples up to put in the pie. After they finished the pie, they cooked it for 25 minutes at 350F. They pulled out the pie and had a delicious dessert.

I loved splashing in puddles, and I had green rainboots, so just after snow melted, I would go and vanquish "puddle-monsters", as I called them, by stomping viciously on them. I was quite the adventurer, adorned with a wooden sword, red cloak and green scarf. My dragon plush stayed at home for these dangerous excursions, or he might get soaked with the "blood" of the puddle-monsters. I didn't have many friends at the time, so the dragon, Lavie, had to be kept safe from harm. After succesfully killing the monsters, I would run home, grab Lavie, and go to the forest. It was my favorite place to be. There, I would be a knight, protecting the stick-villagers from harm. There was one time I got lost in the woods. It was pretty scary, even though It was only late afternoon. I had left the path from my usual antics of Stickula, and had gone off to explore. It only took me a few moments to realize I had made a terrible mistake. I started panicking, looking left and right and breathing heavily. Mom eventually found me and dragged me home, scolding me for my foolishness and nagging me. I never went far into the forest again, though I still explored and roamed it. Another time I got lost was at the park. It was pretty big, and I had strayed into the wooded area after a bird. Lavie had been sitting atop me like I was a throne. I wandered too close to the river, slipped, and fell in. I've had horrible hydrophobia since. I'm now known as the most unlucky pup, or the lost pup because of these incidents.

Buzz. Buzz.
An alarm went off near the far side of the room as a little plumie slept. Her ears draped over her eyes as she breathed delicately in bed. Her blanket wrapped around her like a burrito, gently caressing her in warmth. The buzzer could do nothing to wake her up now- She was enjoying her dream so much she wouldn't even notice it. Her mom heard the buzzer immediately, and hurried down to the babies room. Today was a big day- They were going to see the baby plumies father for the first time in 7 years. He left them when he decided to pursue a different life, and never visited them since.
Bursting onto the babies room, the mom violently shook her out of her deep sleep. "Mmff-- What...?" The half asleep plumie cried out in annoyance. "Honey, today you will see your daddy for the first time! He is dying to meet you!"
"Daddy? You talk about him a lot. I remember. You say he is a traitor. He left you. That's what you always say. Isn't it, mommy?"
The mother blushed a bit. She did say those things quite often... And the fact that the baby could repeat them perfectly is bad enough. "Honey... I... He isn't here for me... he is here to see you." The baby sighed in agony as the last bits of her dream faded away. She could tell today would be a mess... Even worse than that.
The pair First stopped at the train, which would take them to the Central Park area wear the babies dad was waiting. The momma plumie already had a big reunion day planned. It would be great! They would go to the park, then out to dinner, maybe party... Wait, what was she thinking? She has a baby with her. And the fact that daddy plumie only came here to see the baby, she should not plan so much. But wouldn't it be great...
"Mommy, mommy! Look who it is!" The baby plumie cried in excitement. She turned her head the the unknown figure in front of her. It was bigger than her, considering she was just a babe. "Hello there! You must be tranquility." Said a deep, booming voice.

Later that day, it was raining. A small, lone figure walked along the street, wailing and calling for her mom and dad. It was Tranquility. She sobbed desperately as thought about what happened. Daddy and mommy plumie had gone into a store. They left Tranquility outside not long after they first met. Tranquility was too young to make out all the words, but there was loud noises. Roaring. Screaming...
She shivered sobbed some more. Why didn't mommy and daddy come out of the store? Did they leave her? "Mommy! Daddy!" She wailed.
Her calls attracted an interesting guest. It watched her from a rooftop, gingerly walking along the pipe and jumping onto the canopy of rags that hanged overhead. With gentle steps and careful leaps, it boned next to tranquility. "what's wrong, dear?" It asked. It was a black cat. "My mommy and daddy are gone..." Tranquility sobbed. "Deary, where have they gone?" The black cat asked kindly. "I don't know..."
The black cat knew something must be done. She remembered about her own kittens, how they were snatched by an eagle... Maybe she could raise this little one?
"Honey, would you come with me?" The black cat said. "I have a lot to teach you... About being a cat."•

A clump of bubbles rise gently to the surface of the transparent costal waters,
as a small plumerian with a happy complexion plods along the seafront. His eyes appear to be bubbling, as do his feathers, but his emotion is not of a sad being.

A skip, then a hop, he stops at a corner shop. The bell tings as he enters, he comes out with a stick of classical peppermint rock. Red and white, he takes a little bite and sits comfortably on the rocks. With the seagulls circling and the wading birds not far off the shore, this little plumie sits and takes out his binoculars.

Orcas and minkie whales scale the coast, spraying droplets of water from their blowholes and moving gracefully with the water. The young plumerian slips on his diving suit and walks slowly into the crystal shallows. Picking the seaweed from his legs, the plumie begins swimming into the deeper parts of the water. The sea water is more like a lagoon, tame and quiet, not disruptive and loud.

Further into the clear waters, a graceful hawksbill turtle swims past. It's rugged-looking, yet beautiful shell almost seems to shine, as the sunrays penetrate the water and cover the shell. The large, empty black eyes observe the small plumerian, as the turtle glides past. A snake-like pattern is engraved onto the turtles shell. A magnificent specimen. Grapes would have gasped, but then he remembered that swallowing water wasn't really best...

Softly, the bubbles rise from the feathers of the plumie. Grapes watches, as they pop at the surface. Pawing up to the surface slowly, the young plumerian swished his tail to tread water, as the harping calls from the seagulls returned. Grapes proceeded to the beach and dried his fur from under the diving suit. Glancing around, the plumie decided where he'd go next, casually strolling towards the fish and chip shop.
