Prompto- Derived from the Latin word for "prompt".
Name possibly means "for the ready" or "for the quick".
Firearm wielder of Final Fantasy XV's first name.
Envoy- Word meaning "messenger" or "an agent",
possibly derived from the French word envoyé meaning "messenger".
• name reason
I wanted a name that was fun and rather upbeat in a strange sense.
After desperately going through my list of names, I recalled the blond haired,
blue eyed male from Final Fantasy XV. Prompto. It took me a few moments to
adjust to the name, but the more I put it with this Posta, the more I felt a
connection. However, I needed a little more. So, for a "last name" I added
Envoy. Prompto Envoy to me just seemed to flow together, and it really does
fit him in my opinion.
• date of birth reason
Honestly, this is a really strange one. I was relaying dates in my head
and all of a sudden I thought of May 11th. After I thought more about it. The
more I realized it looked like "Mail". The 1 is often used in place of i or l in
usernames on overly popular sites. Not to mention mail sounded out sounds
similar to may in the first portion. I just figured it'd be a fun little quirk.

• personality
x distant & closed off- Prompto tends to be very distant and closed off from the world.
He doesn't tend to get close to anyone else around him. No one really knows why and
it puts them off from talking to him. He perhaps is distant due to his past and likes to
keep to himself for personal reasons.
x shy yet kind- Prompto is very shy around people and, as mentioned, very distant.
However, if you manage to get him going, he is actually very kind to everyone. He doesn't have a temper,
but seems very flighty around others.
x unromantic- Prompto gets very flighty and flees at the signs of romance. He is very
uncomfortable with it, and tends to get visually upset by it. Perhaps there is a link to this in his past,
but he isn't comfortable with romance at all.

x forgetful- Prompto is very forgetful. He tends to forget where he's going and what
he's doing. It ends in him being worried about losing something then calming down.
x no letters- Prompto, as mentioned, has no letters. He seems to realize this and is looking for
them or doesn't remember them until someone brings them up.
x enjoys & is upset by the scent of vanilla- Prompto seems to passionately enjoy the scent of
vanilla, but it also seems to deeply upset him at the same time.

Summary for those who do not wish to read: Prompto fell in love with a girl after he befriended her at a fair. The two exchanged
gifts at Christmas, one of which was his bracelet. He left to go to South Korea and he came back to find her gone. He took all of
their exchanged letters and put them in a box, which he sunk to the bottom of the water. He buried the key and left town back
to South Korea. He kept a journal because she still haunts his memories and he hopes one day she'll find the letters.

Curious- This trait is one of those traits which can be good or VERY bad. In this case he has it in the bad way, examples: eating a live insect, how is it like to poke a bear, can posta live in trees, and much much more.
Smart- As stubborn as he is he is surprisingly smart. Virgilio can often find a solution to most problems he come across, probably because thats the only way you can survive as long as he did in the woods.
Stubborn- As any normal posta each have its down ends. At times he can get very stubborn, like poking a bear for no real reason for example.
Caring for others- Virgilio is a kind hearted little posta, he will take care of guest, friends, and family members. Especially Sakura, his soulmate.
Faithfulness- Virgilio is lucky to have anyone to have faith in him, he just got somthing that is just really.. unexplainible.
Brave- For some reason Virgilio is brave. This is a hard trait to get, I probably award this to him after the bear incident.
Loyalty - Virgilio shows loyalty in many different ways. In one way he took loyalty to the next level by spending years of dedication to find the lost scroll of Sakura, even more he spent the rest of his life finding her ever since she has disappeared while searching for the very same scroll.
Freindly- Virgilio is friendly to almost anything, wether it be a frog or a saber tooth tiger he tops it all off. Unfortunly he has no friends except a few.
Sincerity- Sincerity isn't always the best trait for him but, got to say when he is serious he really is.
Phobiatic- Even though this isn't a word, it describes him in the most detail way. He may be brave but, it comes at a cost. Virgilio has many phobias as you would learn later, you can still be brave with lots of phobia just not to much .

Backstory

Until Virgilio met Sakura he thought his life was meaningless…
Long ago, when he was still a young posta he lived a simple life in the forest, spending his time writing books and searching for a good stump to sit on. Day after day he roams the forest never staying in one place for too long. Years went by and yet his life was really just… boring. No adventure. No drama. No friends. No life really. Until that fateful day when he met Sakura.

I woke up my eyes wery and my paws wet. "The storm must have got into the cave, it would explain why my fur is wet and my paws". I got up and splashed my face with water. The storm lats night was brutal everywhere around me seem to be damage by it. I went through my daily rutine, like i always have for the last 18 years :T. Things seem to get boring-er, nothing happens really in these forset, life is always just simple. Unlike most animals i talked to (which wernt many only about 3 animals in my life) I wished I can have an auctal life, like somthing amazing to happen, just not like where one day I encounter a squirrle and the next day it happens again and again and again. I wrote a few notes and I finaly got up and shook all the water in my pelt. I walked away and picked up some left-overs from yesterday meal, which was half a rabbit. It wasn't enough to fill me up so, as usaul I got up and hunt. The forest seem to be much more.. peacfull like the storm never even happen, birds singing, trees bloming, sun shining, and a quite little breeze, the smell of cinninmon." For some reason at the time it didn't seem that odd ". I trotted down searching for prey. I finnaly cought my self a little bird after a long and tiring chase. The sun seem to set, with alittle quick bites I went to sleep, only to find the most fasanating thing to happen in my entire life (even beating the time I saw a bear drink honey). I woke up at the smell of funnel cake (I never had it before but, heard it was marvoulus so, im pretty sure this was how it smelled like… or not) and right before me the entire forest was turned into a cherry blossom forest. Not only that the lakes been turned into Koi fish sancuary. Before I can describe more I found a gaint slab of stone which wasn't there before, and whats laying on it was a light pink posta , with brown stems here and there with blossoms at the ends. I nudged her (thinking its a her) she gave me a jump scare and sneered at me, she had glowing eyes. "Who are you? What are you doing here? Where am I?" said the light pink posta, I stepped back and looked at her I notice that she looked scared. "erm......" "I am Virgilio and I don't know why your here, you seem to just appear after an entire forest turned into a cherry blossom forest" I answered, " Well, I am Sak... Sakura, it's nice to see you, umm sorry for my attitude, I just lost it." said the light pink Posta."Wait. This isn't the place. It should be here. This isn't the stone. I failed ." said Kukri in a frantic and fast voice. "Whoa Whoa Whoa What's happening? What place? What should be here? What stone? How did you fail?" I said in a curious but, disturb look. She seem to lose her glow In her eyes, "ahh I forgot umm.. Virjello" she said " It's Virgilio Ver-jill-Lee-O." I said " Owe.... Well Virgilio, I should tell you something before I forget, since you seem intrigue, I should probably tell you any ways. " (deep breath) " I came from Japan, Long ago when I was a child I would send letters back and forth to my dad. My dad he was a samurai. When he was back we would take trips to our cherry blossom sanctuary. When he grew old our trees began to die. I will spend everyday right beside him, we tried to figure out a way to save the trees and my father. Thus we found a way, when he died we took is ashes and lay them around the trees, the trees bloomed with the most beautiful flowers I ever saw. Years went by and she grew more and more close to my father, then one day he said " you must leave, you cant live your life here for ever there is an entire world to find out there" I was sadend by the idea but, I followed he said that I will always be with him as long as I bring this scroll. The scroll was made out of the same wood of his tree and everyday he would update it so I can understand him. One day going to the town of Akitta I lost the scroll, and lost my dad." her voice trailed off. I look at her sadden eyes understanding her sadness." Don't worry maybe I can find it, I have nothing else to do in my life" I said " REALLY!!?? You would do that for me?? We have to get ready, you need food and rest and and...." Sakura said frantily and very happy. " calm down not now in the morning its dark we should get some rest" I said. Morning came by I packed my stuff " hey you should stay here really" I said " I know but, im not coming with you we need to split up more space will be covered" Sakura said. " umm before you leave I want you to have this, if you ever get lost I will always be with you" Sakura said as she gave me a bracelet written on it:桜の花." Ok then, but be carefull" I look back for the last time I will ever see her.


Right now I have no more time to waste I will burn all notes, for they have been eating up time.4 years by and I find out she has been lost or maybe even dead, refuse to believe I end my search for the scrolls and kept look for her, searching caves, villages, dungeons, and forest after forest with no luck,
I always keep one paw after another and keep going.

On Virgilio's bracelet says:桜の花. <-- That is the meaning of Cherry Blossom in Japenesse, given to him by Kukri. Kukri had a very special reletionship with Virgilio, her favourite tree was the Cherry Blossom, and since she was the love of his life but, had to leave she wanted to give her somthing that he will remeber her by. So, he will never lose hope.

Letter Info:

Virgilio was always alone his entire life, he never met his parents and what happen to them was a myserty. He often is bored with nothing to do but, star gaze, hum, watch birds, and most of all write. This is what enlighten him the most before he met Sakura. He would write about adventures and horror stories. It was no wonder he wanted to be a writer. But, all this ended when he met Sakura, he embark on a journey to find a missing scroll for 4 years. With no hope he recive word sakura went missing, this caused no time for any writing. For his days he sets sail in every dicertion to find her. Virgilio may lost a bit of sanity but, love for Sakura is more important than any notes or books he ever read or write, so by quiting to write he will have more time to spend each second to find his love of his life.

{ Embark on the Journey }

Along the way of finding his love, Virgilio stops by villiges for information and resouces. One of the Villages he arrived at was the village of Toshi, he found his favourite food there. A kid walts to Virgilio and handed a marshmallow, which he became very fond of. Virgilio often collects sea shells for safe keeping. Somtimes at times he would find info about his family, fortunely he actully found a few info (which would be shared in the next paragraph after this one). Virgilio found a compainion actully which is a koi fish, which lives in a container he brings around in one of his pouches (the koi's name is regit). He somtimes meets other posta which, gives him guide through the forest.

*Family Comes In*

All may be lost about Virgilio's family, but some say they may have heard of them. The first information about his family came from another posta named Marco, which Virgilio found in the nearest village. Marco has said that he has seen 2 postas with similar pelt has Virgilio's, putting 2 pups in the woods. When he came to the postas they ran away before he can ask. All I cared was if they were my parents and if they were where is my other sibling? Much could be said about this information. Is it true? Why did they do it? Who were they? Who was my other sibling?

^Odds and Ends^

Virgilio is a unique Posta no doubt at all, but what really lies within? Every Posta is unique but, in what way? Virgilio often has weird dreams with apples, considering why he doesn't like apple cider or anything apple related that much. He also is very fond of yo-yos but, not touching them mainly because of his phobia. He always bring marshmallows in his journey, sharing them with his koi companion. Virgilio always loved Sakura but, thought she didn't love him, really she love him too. Virgilio always visits the village farm to gather resources and carrots, which seems he likes them only because the sound they make when you bite them.
