Traits:
Mature- Valued in the Egyptian culture, this young colt had already show maturity despite his young age. While this is a virtue, he also makes it a vice by trying to act beyond his years, attempting new things too early.
Dexterous- A very smart colt indeed this one is. It also helps live up to the meaning of his name, as he is often considered wise despite his young age. He loves puzzles or thinking games.
Leader/ Stubborn- While leadership is often another virtue, Djehuti is such a stubborn leader that it can almost be seen as a vice. Usually if he can be convinced, he will loosen the reins a bit. (Heh heh. That was punny)
Desert feels: Djehuti often finds that he excercises his mind the best in the desert. He likes to name plants and identify the different types of cactus. He also likes to identify tracks, be it of snakes, vultures or otherwise. Djehuti also likes to find rattlesnakes, but he runs away if the rattling gets too close. He's had many close calls with that.

Traits: Overprotective - Elliot is a very protective Equid and guard his rock collection and other possesions to a outrageous extend, to the point where he bought a safe to keep them out of harms way!
Possessive - If Elliot takes a liking to something, you won't get it of it! He takes great pride in his possessions and will spend hour rearranging and polishing them until they look perfect.
Shy - he doesn't like to stand out in a crowd, but finds it hard to stay out of the limelight with his gorgeous colouring. Elliot prefers to spend time alone and loud noises scare him.
Desert feels:Nope Nope and Nope! Elliot hates hates the desert! The idea of the hot baking sun turning into freezing nights scares him! He respects the camels that live there, how are they that tough?

Riene isn't a large fan of deserts. He hates running in the dry, hot sand, the granules getting stuck in his hooves and messing with his balance, sucking the energy from his bones. He does, however, love windstorms in the desert. Riene thinks that the harsh winds swirling sand into the bright sky are beautiful.

Desert feels: 'The desert is FUN! Well, it's my favorite place. I love the warm rays of sunshine, and the cold, icy nights. The weather can be quite temperamental, and it is incredibly lonely out there, but I guess we go hand in hand. I know where all the water is, and know how to protect myself from the flash floods quite popular in winter. The desert consists of everything I need to survive, and the long, stretching sand dunes seem to give me a glimmer of hope, curious about what might be to come. I tend to not like the company of other equids, in fact, I hate it. So there is nothing better than being alone in this beautiful, vast land. I love kicking up the hot, golden sand, stretching out my neck and feeling the dry, warm air through my mane. I don't like it when predators come along, as I am quite protective of my 'land'. So if you ever happen to see a gorgeous, amazing, wonderful stallion roaming the arid and dry sand dunes, you will know it is me. I am the king of the desert - Rex.

Traits: Energetic - this is both a good and a bad trait because Timber never seems to know when to tone it down. He is bouncing of the walls with energy most of the time and suddenly he will crash and have a power snooze. Then he is right back at being the most annoying over the top energetic Equid ever. His energy is good when he needs to get stuff done though Braggart - Timber tends to like to brag about his accomplishments....a lot. He loves to tell every Equid around about his amazing fetes, even if the fete is not very special. He will just go on and on, and on until someone tells him to quit it, which he never takes badly Brave- Timber is a very brave Equid, sometimes the gets him into trouble because he is too brave. This is a good trait though because he is not afraid to try new things. He loves to adventure because of his bravery and often becomes the leader of groups because he is not afraid.
Desert feels: Timber is not very fond of the desert. Sure sometimes he will go and frolic in the sand but he doesn't go there often. He doesn't like how hard it is to run on the shifting, slippery sand and the heat is so intense! It is hard to be so energetic like he is in such a hot place. Timber is brave but he is not very careful and he knows the desert would be a bad place for him. Cactuses with big sharp needles, scorpions with stabbing tails and snakes with poisonous fangs. Even with his bravery Timber tries not to go into the desert very often because of those things.

Desert feels: Versatyle is picky when it comes to choosing the one and only desert. He usually goes for the creme brûlée, as it has a more, well, smoky taste to it! He often finds himself drooling around complex names of deserts, and will often recite the names of the deserts on the menu to order some again! He loves deserts, but is picky when it comes down to the absolute tastiest.

If there is ever the opportunity to stretch his legs in a good, hard sprint, Atreyu is certainly not the type of Equid to pass this opportunity. His favorite physical activity to do, when he is presented with the choice, happens to be long distance running. Although he does enjoy sprinting, his stamina is and has always been something that makes him swell with pride. One of his least favorite activities that are available for Equids out there happens to be swimming; the feeling of water deep enough to reach his chest is probably one of the most terrifying feelings to Atreyu.
Easily Frustrated
While he absolutely loves to run, he can easily get frustrated with the conditions outside- especially if he gets the itch in his muscles that only running can soothe. He's been known to run in the rain, through the mud, and even has attempted to go against hail once or twice- but he's learned from this mistake pretty quickly. This frustration carries over into how he socializes with other Equids, and if one observes him close enough they might be able to pick up on the fact that Atreyu gets much more easily frustrated with females Equids than he does with other males.
Independent
Atreyu will not allow himself to rely on anyone or anything- other than what is nessecary, like food and water- because he hates the feeling of having to depend on things that might make his life a little less easy. If he can't do something himself- completely by himself- then it doesn't really need to get done, and it will not get done with any help from this pretty boy. He'll walk away with enough sass in his step and annoyed snorts to make sure that no one will ask him to repeat something he cannot successfully do all alone.
Desert feels:
There's something about the desert that calls to Atreyu; something about the golden, ever shifting sand, the tall dunes, the challenge that running across the desert would provide- and yes, he does realize that the desert is huge! Atreyu wants to live in the desert, honestly, but he cannot seem to part from his home and those around him just yet. As much as he tries to distance himself and be completely independent from others, there's just something keeping him from racing off to the adventure filled golden dunes. Whether it is a fear of the unknown, a fear of leaving everything he has behind and having to admit he was wrong later, or something more is currently something that is not known.

Desert feels: Hot, lifeless, and everything that irks Jacobsen. You see, he is used to the cold and soft weather of Colorado. Though it can get hot there, it's not enough to irritate the stallion. But, you'd think that he would be groping for what Colorado didn't have- Sun, sand, and heat. No. The complete opposite. It disgusts the stallion. Who wouldn't like the mellow weather, instead of dry, and blank land? No, Jacobson is used to green, rolling hills, and soft meadows. He'd rather stay in his comfort zone.
