What is a Makoatl?
A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.

Based on a Nudibranch (Sea slug); suggested by Sebeon!

Where did they meet their pet snail? (300 words max): Nautilus was conversing with some other Makoatls in a marketplace when a certain shop caught his eye. The Mako in charge of the shop was selling pets; creatures they had found while exploring who had grown attached to them. There were plenty of different creatures, big and small, but he fell in love with the little snail he ended up picking out. He carries the snail in a little jar when he's outside of water, but when he's in, he lets it chill out on top of his head. They're best buddies and he's never been happier about buying something.

Where did they meet their pet snail? (300 words max):
Jay met his pet snail, Orion, in a little forest while he was exploring.

Jayden loves to go out into forests, swamps, anywhere - and just admire the scenery.
He tends to call himself an environmentalist.
He also has a scrapbook of materials of each place that he had been, and he was quite proud of them!
But, however, while Jayden was visiting a small forest, he couldn't find anything new to add.
Frantically trying to find something, as he always had to, he found a vibrant, eye-catching snail.
He picked up the snail, brought it home with him, and put him in a little jar.
Attaching the jar to a hemp string, he wore the necklace with sheer pride.
This snail, which he then named Orion, was his new best friend.
And a cute souvenir, too!

Where did they meet their pet snail? :
He met his pet snail, Timcampy, at a small tidepool in a private
beach. Komui happened to be studying the tide pool and the organisms
that lived there and then he saw this beautiful tiny snail. He named
it Timcampy for no apparent reason though, but keeps the snail
with him along his tide pool research.


Funny thing is that Komui still does not notice that he and Timcampy
have very similar designs... he might need more research on his genes
himself..
