Life is like a blank canvas, and the choices you make are the colors. In the end, the painting reflects your choices in life.

Name:
The name Ink came to mind as soon as my eyes landed on this pretty boy, although his markings remind me more of paint running down a canvas than ink on paper. Alongside his orange markings, the spots on his tongue and paw pads reminds me of splatter work one might do to their walls or on a canvas as well.
Gender:
I can only see this beautiful Makoatl being a male.
Personality:
Intrusive
There are some people out in this world that have the extrusive personalities; they want to know about your life; hopes, dreams, fears, nightmares, what your thoughts on different subjects are. Basically, they like to get into your personal space and know a lot- maybe a little too much for comfort- about you. Ink is not one of these types of people; he's introverted and likes to keep to himself rather than have to actually go beyond his comfort zones to strike up a conversation with someone. Although, if one manages to catch his interest, he leaves very subtle hints at information he wants to know- but he never actually tries to force someone to tell him something.
Artistic
From the earlier subtle hinting at paint and canvases and even the quote above from the man himself, one might have thought that Ink might be some type of artistic person. This is true about him; Ink finds the almost perfect silence that surrounds him whenever he picks up one of his brushes and begins to bring life to the canvas in from of him the most peaceful moment in his day. Even if he doesn't finish one of his projects the day he starts it, Ink always makes sure to spend an hour or two in his art room just painting.
Open Minded
While he won't always see things the exact way those around him do or think that their ideas are of quality, Ink will listen to what they have to say and he'll muse over it for a while- usually a period of fifteen to twenty minutes, to be specific- and after he is done thinking over the idea he will either tell them that he supports it, and why, or the opposite alongside his reasons for not supporting whatever the idea was. Once his mind is made up about something, it can be a difficult task to get it changed so that he has a new look on it, but it is not an impossible feat.
Honest
His honesty has carried over to the point where, on occasions around new or sensitive people that have managed to get him into a conversation, he has occasionally brought someone all the way to tears. While he will apologize for making someone cry, he won't be in complete remorse over doing it. If someone cannot handle the truth, after all, how successful will they be in the real world and in the big scheme of life itself? There are special occasions though, where Ink will actually lie- but those are incredibly rare and usually reserved for when his friends really need him to do such an out of character thing.
Active
Despite being a little on the anti-social side and not one to overexert himself outside of swimming whenever he is asked to describe his physical activity, Ink is one that likes to push his body and mind to the limits with running and swimming the distance. Right now his strong point is speed, but he is gradually trying to increase his stamina in both running and speed, as he gets frustrated easily when he tires out in a long distance race on either land or in the sea. One might consider this a competitive steak, and one would be right in thinking that Ink has one.
Observant
As an artist that wants to be able to give whatever he draws or paints life, this young male has a habit of noticing things that several people would just ignore or consider unimportant. His mind is a steel trap full of useful and useless information, and once something has been registered it is forever in his mind, and always something that is there whenever he needs it. While he isn't the first type of person to blackmail someone, it is not above Ink to do such a thing when he really, really has to. The chances of him actually using the information that registers for blackmailing someone is very unlikely, but again it is a possibility for some day.
Distant
Looking above to the observant trait, one might think that these two don't go together. Usually speaking, they don't, but I am referring to the fact that Ink is distant when it comes to emotions. Whether or not this comes from his constant lack of sleep- mostly because he doesn't wish to sleep, or just cannot manage to fall asleep- is unknown, but when it comes to feelings and such, Ink might just not be the type of person to turn to. He's got a bit of a problem with empathy and connecting with others, but when he feels either of those things he clings to them- it's not like he wants to be overwhelmed with emotion like some people are, but having it is nice on occasions.
Easily Frustrated
Mentioned or lightly referred to above, Ink is actually easily frustrated- which might clash a little with his distance from emotions, but this is one that he doesn't struggle with, as much as he would rather not have to deal with this annoying feeling. Ink can get frustrated with several things, but the top few that can immediately come to mind are people, art block, and his stamina level. When incredibly frustrated, Ink tends to puff out his chest a lot more alongside constantly flexing his toes. While the toe flexing isn't one of the more obvious signs of frustration, those that have been around him long enough know what to look for besides the chest puffing.
Realist
There are no fantasies in life for Ink; it's reality, even when the reality of the situation stings him and only him, or those that he is close to. He isn't one to sugar coat things, and while he has hopes he will not let himself get carried away and overly believe that they are possible to achieve. Some people see one side of the coin, some people see another side of the coin, but Ink sees both sides without having to flip this metaphorical coin. Despite his realism and honesty, he has not spoiled the fantasy of Santa or even the Easter Bunny for any little children that he's come across.
