Sorry it's taken so long, I've been really busy and ended up putting this off for ages and ages! Don't worry though, everything is finally sorted out!

So the two of us (lilcatfish; and Koizoom) have decided to put this little girl up for adoption. <:

In the simplest terms, this contest is all about impressing us for her ownership.

The rules are as follows:

He is a happy-go-lucky, embarrassing sort of bean, who likes to mess around with his kids and play games more than anything. Bruno's willing to go to any lengths for smiles and happiness, but most importantly, he is patient and understanding (when the time calls for it). Aside from this, he's a gigantic goofball with a lack of responsibility and common sense.

Blu is cheerful, motherly, and I might even go as far as to say a little eccentric. She cares deeply for kids and despite her size she is very gentle with them. She knows how to look after and fuss over children, especially her own.

Huckleberry (or Huck, as he prefers to be called) is a rather intelligent and conniving teen who loves anything having to do with evil or mischief. He hopes to become an evil mastermind someday. Deep down though, he cares for his family a lot (though he'd never admit it). He also enjoys mario-based games quite a bit, and is almost never found without his Waluigi hat on.

An aspiring actor, Lemonberry often pretends to put on airs she doesn't have. She likes to act a little bit high and mighty, but her emotions show through her "mask" easily. Lemonberry likes to think she's the "cool older sister" type, but she is easily led and a little gullible She likes to hang around with older teens than herself, which often gets her into trouble.

Melly is a very naive and curious child who is always very open and friendly to others, even strangers. While her thoughts are rather childish, her actions are innocent and gestures of friendship and kindness. She may not be the brightest of beans, but she is easily likeable due to her bubbly personality. However, she does get upset very easily and cries a lot when she's feeling hurt or sad; she doesn't take harsh or offensive words very well, and doesn't like arguments at all.

Gooseberry is her name, why? I chose the name Gooseberry for many reasons, to begin with it ticks the first box of following the family tradition of -berry. Secondly the first part of the name [that all the family members are shortened too] is goose, a cute little name that can create cute baby nicknames such as Goosey and Ducky [family only.] Three, it is an actual plant! I love plant names and to find a fitting name of a plant that exists is perfect, it also reminds me when my family had a gooseberry bush. [Gooseberries]

A few starting words, I decided at the beginning that there will be no 'why I want this bean' section, the dedication and effort should speak to you louder then my cliché rambling. Goosey despite being a little innocent ball of fluff around her family as well as being buoyant and lovable she has nerves and this will
only grow with her age, despite her nerves being different too Huck's daring and Bear's bravery. she has the audacity to ask
certain questions at what any other family member would know to hush. Sometimes what she says she is asking for trouble
though she doesn't mean it -- this butchered understanding of what her sentences mean to other people is one of the only
times she ever antagonizes her fellow family members, she is unintentionally rude and is prompted by beans too
'learn somemanners.'

Aside from this though there is only one other large fault Goosey has and that is her addiction to touch. She loves soft materials
and like most children is a magpie for shiny or glittery objects. she once ruined one of Lemmy's velvet capes [from her costume
drawer] and ruined it by tearing rugged hole when she went to touch it and one claw caught in the fabric.

Goosey is a very young and skittish child. She is very wary of strangers and has
only been able to befriend one bean outside her family-- she is very jumpy and all
over the place around strange people and prefers to hide in Mul's pouch when
someone unfamiliar is around. However despite this her shyness will probably die
as she is grows up around her outgoing family-- she just needs a little confidence

When at home though she becomes only a shadow of her usually nervous self, she
becomes more playful and active -- usually running after an older sibling to
play with or to just play on her own causing a few plates to break on most
occasions. However the down side too her is she is at an age to not understand
not everything Bruno says is true and is usually teased due too her gullible nature.
She also has a streak of her fathers bluntness in her that stands out against
the gentler nature of her mother. She has been to be described as her mother

When she grows into a teen her personality will flow and change. she will not be like mul despite her admiration for him and will instead
become more like her father-- blunt and loud. However as a teen she will also be a little rebellious, will start breaking a few more
rules and uses her speech wisely, kind and polite to those she likes but with the ability to fight back and twist other peoples words
when needed. She will still be a bubbly family member but would be able too return 12 years worth of teases on her family.

As a teenager she will also a quire a more elegant flow of movement. Her currently clumsy gait replaced with an elegant flowing
posture and her long legs will make her flow even better. As a teen she will have a dancers body despite not being a dancer herself.

Mul is by far Goosey's favourite brother, despite being
the eldest and pretty much an adult, Mul is still Goosey's favourite.
Mul's teasing nature he got from Bruno is gentle unlike the more
blunt statements that their father comes out with. She loves playing
games and being in his pouch and tends to stick to him closer then
her other siblings— with the possible exception of Melly. Mul either
calls her Goosey or Ducky, although being a teenager isn't
always around at home.

Huck is the brother that goosey is the most wary about, he is more of
a trickster rather then an innocent joker like mul and bruno and it is
for this reason she is wary as he causes mischief all the time. He has
tricked goosey many a time now – her guilible nature getting in the way
of her thoughts – she hates it yet he doesn’t understand goosey doesn't
find it funny. However she doesn't really like Mario like he does but
when her siblings have a multi-player game she watches. She has also
acquired a strange fascination of yoshi due to him.


ＢＥＡＲＢＥＲＲＹ
✘ 2nd best to melly ;; ✓ protective
Bear is the mismatched sibling relation, he is brave and a gentleman
where as goosey finds herself in no way lady like and is skittish with
higher amount of brain rather then brawn. he has been in many
tussles with other beans and it is the fights he has been in that
has kept her away slightly. Their relationship, it has its positives
yet his protection of his twin makes her feel shunned to the side
when she is playing with melly – bear and melly make her wish
she had had a twin.

ＢＬＵ－ＦＬＩ
✘ stops 'dangerous' games ;; ✓ caring, sensitive
Blu fli is the quiet sanctuary in the usually noisy and busy bru fli
household. Blu is very gentle and sweet mother to have – she is the
sanity and goosey often likes spending her time curled up with her
mother away from her fathers teasing nature. however she is also
a mother who wants the best for her kids and will stop 'dangerous'
games before it gets out of hand.


ＬＥＭＯＮＢＥＲＲＹ

Lemmy is a sister who she adores and admires, her appearance,
her personality and her bubbling energy. She loves too play with
lemmy but she is usually practicing her acting skills. This is the
only part of lemon she is scared of as she is terrified of the
various masks her sister wears. The velvet red from a
masquerade, the rippling sequins of an chinese dragon, they
all scare her out of her wits and usually hides in the pouch
of her mother or mul when ever she has seen lemmy with
a mask.

Melon -- or should I say melly – is the sister that she possibly
spends the most time with, whilst her other siblings are out
and about or busy doing teenager things [which she is pretty
clueless about] she is left with melly and bear. Melly and
goosey get on like a house on fire as they are both gifted
with wild imaginations. Their shared curiosity also leads
them into their adventures. yet when melly goes up to
strangers she feels very nervous and insecure.

↳ When goosey grows up she will be diagnosed with mild dyslexia -- dyslexia is one of the most common learning difficulties yet when goosey has it her main weakness' will be reading and writing -- impaired understanding despite fluent speech. i have a dyslexic friend and have been researching dyslexia -- read here for more information

↳ Goosey has also got one large fear, has a fear of any form of disguise: mimes, clowns, masks and the like. she received this fear when as a very small bean when lemmy was planning too scare mul or huck with her new costume she saw someone coming and jumped out-- but came face to face with blu carrying goosey rather then an older sibling. she has been scared of disguise ever since then.

Peanut is described to be much like her father in many
ways; he has the same teasing nature around his kids as bruno
does and they both have the exocentric streak in their parenting
yet goosey tends to be a bit unsure of peanut all the same.
There is no concrete reason why she is nervous around him but
she just is. She is still a little wary of her father though she loves
him and peanut who can act very similar to bruno on occasions
she just tends to stay out of his way.

ＶＩＶＩＡＮ ＭＡＥ

Goosey likes mae when she is around her but she feels
that mae often has little patience for her like her siblings do.
Mae is a bean she admires though due to her young age doesn't
understand her phrases, her rudeness and ‘fabulous’ phrases
leaves goosey with question marks above her head. Mae is also
mentioned a lot by name when the others are teasing mul.

Goosey is very distant with tang, She sees him go out
into the forest and come back, she spots him talking with his
family but other then a passing ‘hi’ the two have never properly
spoken to each other, he is out all the time and the age gap
between the two doesn’t help them at all. She has no real
opinion of him yet doesn’t like the fact he is never around.

ＣＬＥＭＥＮＴＩＮＥ

Clem is goosey’s second mother as it were – the close bond
between clem and blu has grown to believe that clem is some kind
of adoptive second parent; she loves goosey and treats her like she
would with her own kin. Clem is the bean she would go too after blu
when she is feeling upset or down.

ＰＨＯＥＢＥ
✘ water ;; ✓ cats

Bee and Goosey are two beans that get on with a house on
fire – the main reason is their shared love of cats. Despite cats
being the second of goosey’s favourite animals she loves them
almost as dearly as ducks where as bee is very much a cat lover.
The two of them like playing together or going out and trying to
find cats together. However her hydromanic side can clash as cats
are repelled by water and bee can get annoyed. She would happily
trade bee to be in her household although mae and clem wouldn't
approve.

Tate is a bean Goosey has a hard time putting up with – despite
how close the two families are and that they are around the same age
Tate and Goosey just cannot get on. Goosey is the more bubbly side
around the clemnuts but the incredibly jumpy and nervous nature of
Tate where he cannot go one second of talking to her she finds him
annoying and is hurt that he never wants to talk to her.

who is meep?

↳ Meep is Goosey's childhood companion, a small plush duck who is with her where ever she goes, on an adventure with melly or just curled up beside mummy blu. meep was named meep because as a young child that was one of the fist sounds she could make.
Why is meep a duck?

↳ Meep is a toy duck for one very clear reason and that is she loves ducks, before she had meep she was in awe of this little yellow rubber duck in the bathroom and was often caught by her parents and siblings carrying it back to her room. Goosey has always loved ducks from the little yellow duck sitting in the bathroom too real ducks like the mallard and other water fowl. this is also how she got the nickname ducky -- from her love of ducks.

ＡＴ ＨＯＭＥ

when stuck at home, away from the nerve wracking strangers in the outside world she often contents herself playing with her siblings or parents, or if its a nice warm day she spends her day in the garden chasing leaves or just sunning herself in the warmth like a cat.

...

however due to her quirky mania she often searches the bru-fli house and garden for any body of water that she could play in. she is often found swimming in the duck pond with freddy and it isn't unusual for her siblings to fish her out under their parents instructions.

...

when night starts to fall though she curls up beside a family member every night and is read to, she cannot read passages herself. she loves her family reading tales of bravery to her, but she loves it most when mul or bruno read.

...

she has not got chores yet like her teenage siblings but instead she adopted the task of caring for freddy, her mothers pet duck, she loves him to bits and considers him to be hers and her mothers shared duck. one of her favourite things to do to pass the time is swim with him.

ＢＥＳＴ ＦＲＩＥＮＤＳ

Its odd how goosey and rainy are with each other yet if rainy was any other bean goosey would be running from sight to crawl into Mul’s pouch or to hide behind Lemmy’s long legs. They just seemed to click and now rainy has taken to the harth of being Goosey’s best friend. She sees him like a brother she never had – though the beans older then her were not as sure weather she should hang around with him. After all it wasn’t as if she knew about terra. With that aside though they are closer then close and love playing together and exploring the garden together. Just as Mul has Mae, Lemmy has Huck and Melly has Bear she has rainy.

Rainy and goosey are very young at the moment, they have no real worries. The only thing they ever have to worry about is if goosey messes up Rainy’s mane! Yet at the same time they seem to know when one wants to stop and they slow down their current game. More then enough times someone has come to collect rainy and he has fallen asleep beside goosey. They are well to sum it up two peas in a pod.

ＡＮＹ ＦＵＴＵＲＥ ＰＬＡＮＳ？

Aside from the dyslexia that i explained above I have already been thinking of what she would be like as an older bean -- at current she merely a baby in which i cannot truly show character development. Anyway with that aside it is time to actually hear my plans for later on in life:

Phobia. Her phobia will never cease to haunt her even as she grows. However as a teen and adult she will be able to cope with how to deal with her fear a lot better then just running to her family screaming or crying reduced to shreds. Her mania will also run through out her life yet will have a lot more control over water.

Organised. Goosey will grow and become a very organised bean, she will like things maybe not tidy and neat but despite the typical 'dump' appearance of her room she has still added an order two it. It is for this reason her mum cleaning her room is a pet hate.

Nerdy. However much she might act tough as a teen she will always have a soft touch of nerd to her DNA. She will devote hours to planning what to do in the occurrence of a zombie apocalypse as well as hoard items from her favourite fandoms.

To overcome shyness. As she grows her shy nature will begin to dissolve and soon her attempts to hide behind the legs of her family when a bean passes will be like a half forgotten dream. After all why be afraid of beans when you can tell them about ducks?

I have not been able to finish off all i wanted in the line
of stories, i hoped to write more as this cutie that i hope
to call gooseberry. it was fun and despite my writing still
being a shabby wip i think i need to share my writing to you.

goosey loves water to the extreme of being classed as a hydromanic. She spends her free time (when a little older at least) in and around water from water fights in the heat of summer and boat crafting during the icy winter months. She just is attracted to water like moths to a light bulb -- no matter how much she is in water her list for water doesn't cease. She has been found in unattended baths (to hucks great annoyance) and often pours water over herself for no real reason other then to get a nice feeling through her hair. God its lucky she doesn't know about the als ice bucket challenge otherwise she would submerge herself in iced water until she would get pneumonia! Any excise to be in water is good enough for goosey, I think Bruno is fed up of being asked for a pool every birthday and Christmas.
