He uses it for all sorts of things, including and not limited too, building, eating, storing, creating paths, and his favorite of all, hiding. His coat well camouflaged in the pale straw. He can often be seen (or well not seen) concealed under it to pop out like a blue eyed feature of beauty, tossing his stiff mane in elegance unrivaled.
Despite this he will not tolerate any straw lodged into his coat or mane, he is far to regal and magnificent for that.

Answer: des's special quirk is that when he is happy, thoughtful or in love, he hums like a songbird. when he's feeling thoughtful or observant, the tune is soft and is melodic, flowing and smooth. if he's feeling particularly happy, des's song is grooving and upbeat. in fact, he sometimes gets too enthusiastic and will swing his hips passionately while bobbing his head. the saying 'dance like no one's watching' does not apply to des since he dance's like that all the time. and the most rare tune he sings is when he's in love. when that happens, the tune is content, full of emotion and passion and he will only sing it when his girl is with him. des's quirk has been pointed out on multiple occasions and once or twice he has become sheepish about it but in the end, des likes his habit and feels like it's a great way to express his emotions when words fail to do so accurately.

Answer: Hototo's name oddly suits him for his little quirk, despite having been given the name before he developed it. His name is from the Native American Hopi language meaning "warrior spirit who sings", or "he who whistles". Already with a light, angelic and sing-songy voice, Hoto often (subconsciously) sings a sentence here and there. When walking up to a friend, he'll say hello to them with a little tune or rising scale in his voice. When asked why he does this, he merely states; "I don't know what you mean?", often spoken in some combination of triads and followed with a small, lopsided smirk.
