Why Is It His Favorite?: Mangoes are his favorite fruit because he loves the sweet flavor and texture it provides; it was like no other. They're sweeter than apples and have a unique flavor all their own. At the stables, he has always been a handsome, sweet boy. One of his riders decided that it was time to give him a special treat, unique to only him. After all, there is no other horse that looks like him. He is one of a kind. Now most horses love carrots, or apples, or even mints. He was different. He would eat all of these happily, but nothing seemed to really call to him. The girl that rode him started trying various fruits, from commons ones to exotic ones. She tried pineapple and starfruit. Anything from grapes to berries. Nothing really stuck with him though. One night, for dessert, she served herself a bowl of frozen mangoes. It was one of her favorite desserts. She tried this the very next day with the stallion; he loved it. The soft/frozen mangoes were sweet with a little bit of a crunch. This stuck with him. He was lipping the bag, asking for more. This became his favorite fruit. It was fitting with the sweet flavor and his sweet personality.
