Regalis is a an amazing mare. She is kind of like those "perfect" girls at your school, why seem to be flawless in every way! Yet, she has her own troubles hidden inside her heart. Sometimes being perfect, and being looked up to is hard! Instead of just having fun, she is messing around with her looks, and making sure she still keeps up with that horse everyone knows her to be. She looks down at the other horses who don't care of their coat is covered in mud, and how they go on risky adventures, and she is really kind of sad that she can't do it. Every summer she is pulled out of the pastures, and taken to the stable to train. Regalis excels at dressage, and is the best competition horse the stable has had and known so far! Everything she does looks flawless and like the rider isn't even asking her. Her favorite thing is doing dressage when the music is on. She will move her hoofs to the beat.
Regalis does not have many friends besides the humans. She is more friendly with people than any of the other horses because she spends her whole summer with them at special Pardus shows. She has had crushes on a few different stallions at shows, but their pride turns her down, as she seems to beat all of the boys!
Regalis is not much for winter or summer. She likes spring the best. Summer makes her hot and sweaty, winter gets her cold, wet, and muddy. Fall... well, I guess it is just bad getting used to the fact that it will start raining, and going back to the pastures... oh! Thunderstorms! Regalis HATES thunderstorms. Their is another mare in the stable that is also a competition Pardus, and she finds beauty and is in awe of the thunder and lightning. Regalis doesn't quite agree with that!
She tends to be very naughty and moody when she is in heat. She will kick, nip, rear, and make lots of noise! Gladly for the people, she is usually out in the pasture at this time, and away from the barns!

H i s t o r y::
Regalis was born at a Pardus Equus breeding farm. Their are only one or two actual large breeding farms for the Pardus in the whole world! Their are more smaller farms who adopt, keep, and some show Pardus to keep the breed alive.
Regalis was not trained until she was sold to me stable. Before that, she went on a few small fairs, to show the pubic one of the rarest and beautiful horse breeds alive. Everyone loved Regalis especially because of her extra pintaloosa markings. They would gather around and feed her carrots and pat her. She was one of the more tame horses at the farm. When she was sold, the owners and workers where very sad to see her leave. She was always their spoiled little princess, but they had to make room for more young foals.
When she came to the new stable, she was quite confident that she would be even more spoiled than the first. Come to find out, it was training time! It was not hard at first, but that cold bit and heavy saddle didn't seem fit for a royal like her! She fought for a short time, but gave up because she was getting too hot. In less than six months, she was cantering around the arena perfectly.
The hardest part for her was when fall came. She was put in a very large pasture with over 30 acres! She was quite surprised and looked at the humans with confusion as how she was going to stay alive... but nope! They just drove away in their tractor leaving her their.
She adjusted quite slowly to the pasture. Their was only young fillies like her in it, and they had all known each other since they where foals. They would stare at her in shock almost, on how perfect she was. They had been out in the pasture almost all summer, and had not been trained yet. After getting used to her their, the just tended to avoid her, as if she was going to hate them for their looks. Regalis was quite lonely, and sad that she gave that impression.
Winter was hard for Regalis. She grey a long, fuzzy coat, and her long mane kept her neck warm. She became used to going to sleep while the wind swept across her body. She even got closer to one of the fillies, spending a small amount of time grooming her. The pasture had a automatic heated water source, so they where never thirsty, but it was hard to find food and grass when the snow was deep.
When spring came, Regalis actually enjoyed shedding her winters coat, and getting her bright and shiny summer coat! She was very proud of it, and would trot around the pasture showing if her dressage skills. The other fillies where far away, but al least the birds enjoyed her performances. They would chip, and she would dance to it.
It was one day in early summer when she herd the humming of the tractor. It had been such a long time, and she thought that they where just going to come and check on her like they had a few times during the winter. Surprisingly, when she was them, they where holding halters! She nickered and walked up to the gate. The stable hands where surprised, and patted her and slipped the halter on. Then, she was lead back to the stable. After about twenty minutes of walking down narrow dirt roads between pastures, the barn cam into view. She let out a whinny of joy, happy to be home! The stable hands that has been their the year before smiles, and greeted her with a pat as she was lead into her stall.
Gradually Regalis was brought back into dressage training, and her first show was approaching! These shows where meant especially for Pardus Equus, and their amazing dressage skills. A week before the show, she was being trained hard, and was rewarded with a warm mash after each successful lesson.
Her first show was quite scary. She had forgotten what it was like to have so many people around, talking and laughing. And this was more of her kind than she had ever seen! They where just like her, with their long and wavy manes and tails, but all different shapes and colors. As she entered the arena, she felt her rider take a deep breath. She responded also with a deep breath, and when asked, she took her first flying step forward. It went quickly, and before she knew it, they where walking out of the dressage arena. She could feel her rider looking back at the judges. After lots of pats and cool drinks of water, it was time to go find out the results. A fancy halter was slipped over her head as she was lead back into the arena. She was in the junior class because she was still young. The horses lined up and the judges started announcing the winners from least to best scores. Every time her name was not called, she was getting even more exited! Did she do good? At last, her and a beautiful shiny chestnut mare stood their. Their was a moment of silence, and then the winner was announced! It was not her. Sadly, she had come in second. Her rider gave her a big pat and received the ribbon, attaching it to Regalis's halter. Regalis was a little disappointed, but she was happy with the big pink and purple ribbon tails fluttering on her neck as she walked.
From that she on, Regalis improved her score at shows. The next three shows she attended she got first places, and the fourth she got a second! Only high scores for Regalis!

Through the walls it thundered on.
The hoof beats of the Regal one
Her movements swift, her eyes awake
the ground will quiver, the gates will shake
lightly brushing the crumbled ground
the silky mane shines like the sun
she stands up tall and proud, she won
she is strong and brave, but she is having fun
it needs a leader loyal and bright
who will lead us to the light
and let her name be known to all
For the Regal has just strike down
Man I suck at poetry! How do people do it?
