❥ ❥ personality Cas is just one happy plumerian. He is the kind of happy that is infectious and seems to make even the people passing him on the street smile. Nothing ever seems to get him down, and he is always optimistic. If you didn’t have to be sad, why would you be? At least that’s how Cas sees it. His goal every day is just to put the smile on those he sees, you never know if one kind word or a smile could make a large of difference for someone’s day.

Though Cas does his best to be kind to the people he meets, he can sometimes come off as sarcastic. He has a snappy comeback for every situation he’s put into and is never afraid to use it, even if the consequences mean a slap to the face. Most of the time he doesn’t even try, the remarks just seem to slip out of his mouth. Pair the sarcasm up with the fact that he’s a bit of a jokester and you’ve got yourself a storm to deal with.

Cas also likes to think that he’s funny. Puns aren’t the worst he’s got to offer, but don’t let his trickster attitude fool you, he’s got quite the head on his shoulders. He can keep up with the best of them. He could be what most would classify as a nerd when it comes to most academic subjects, and he’s practically in love with arts and sciences.

Though he can be quite the trouble maker, Cas is extremely nervous most of the time and usually has a lot of internal debate going on. He is constantly rethinking himself, though the sassy side comments don’t seem to bother him. He does his best to make other people happy, he is constantly trying to be happy himself and his constant worrying makes that a challenge. This challenge is one that he will be able to eventually overcome and he knows it.

❥ ❥ history Cas grew up with his mother and sister. They lived on the edge of a suburbs, just inside the tree-line of the local woodland. When he was very young his mother was killed in a freak accident, but his sister refused to tell him what had happened due to his age. His sister took care of him for a while after that, but he was pretty sure it was only out of mutual loss. They remained in their home by the woods, but soon the little hollow log would become even more empty.

His sister eventually went out, and never came back. He had stayed put waiting for her, afraid of what might be out there considering he was still young himself, and when he finally ventured out, and he found out she had been killed.

He withdrew into himself at that point, staying away from others and keeping to the company of books that he found through his scavenging with his only friend, his beta fish Sharpie, to talk to. After a couple years alone, though, he started to venture out. He would see others having fun, and somehow seeing others interacting created a need to connect in Cas.

Everything changed when he decided that he didn't need to be sad. He could be happy, and he could make others happy as well.

❥ ❥ robotics Cas got into robots on the side during his years alone after coming across a book on mechanics. Interested, he decided to build his own little contraption just to see if he could put his new knowledge to the test. So he created a little car, nothing complex, that ran off a remote attached to a long wire. He was hooked! Quickly following that experience he delved deeper into the inner workings of all things mechanical. This fascination led him to build all sorts of things until he decided to build a working robot. Cas was able to get the whole thing put together, only it didn't run. That is how he got into programming. Using his new found skills Cas found out that, while he loves the working with his paws and getting covered in grease he also loves the side where you take apart and put back together virtually. In his free time off the job Cas still finds time to build his little creations to this day.

ᴍᴀsᴏɴ is a sweet, kind, and feminine Plumerian. He loves to draw, draw, draw. Mason has a specific love for drawing up cutesy, chibi, kawaii things - he takes interest in drawing a lot of cute Japanese things from various shows. Although he doesn't really understand them since most of them are in Japanese, he can't really get the gist of what's happening, but he still loves the adorable chubby characters. Mason is actually taking Japanese classes so that he can learn more of the language and culture, really wanting to know what all of these cute little things are about. In the meantime, however, Mason enjoys going to coffee shops, book stores, libraries, really anywhere quiet [although he loves the coffee shop - his favorite place, since he can get a hot cup of coffee there] and calm where he can sketch chibi characters.
Mason is bisexual. He has dated guys and girls in the past, and he doesn't lean towards one gender or the other. He just likes anybody who's cute, sweet, maybe likes to draw, appreciates the little things, and who also likes to go to the coffee shop and just sit and do something calm, like draw c:

ᴍᴀsᴏɴ's ʀᴏᴏᴍ is full of interesting things. He has a lot of posters, pictures, drawings, and photographs covering his walls. His desk, which he uses mainly for drawing, keeping his laptop, and writing, is in the corner. It has little figurines and models of different characters he finds especially cute - not only kawaii Japanese characters, but also things like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon, some baby Lion King character figurines, and other cutesy fandom stuff. One of his favorite animals is the fox, so he has a bunch of drawings, posters, and figures of foxes around his room.

Mason sleeps in a simple blue hammock, stretched tight so he's not all curved and uncomfortable at night. During the day, when he wants to relax and draw, Mason pulls out his bed from the wall - yes, the wall. His small apartment is in New York, and since his room is pretty tiny, he has a bed that comes down from the wall. It's a two-person bed. Mason doesn't sleep in it that often because it's a bit uncomfortable - it has a few lumps and things in it, but it's alright. He just finds the hammock more comfortable.

Mason has a tiny little TV that he pretty much only uses for movies. He's got a TV and a Blu-Ray player, that's it. No cable box - he either watches movies or Netflix, and sometimes movies on Netflix. Next to his TV he has two small DVD stands which, seemingly magically, holds a multitude of movies. Most are kids movies, like Disney and Dreamworks movies, but he has other stuff too. He likes movies with especially cute characters.

Mason does not only have lots of cutesy figurines, drawings, and pictures around his room, but he also has some plushies. He likes plushies a lot, even if he's been teased about it before. He likes Beanie Babies™, and has lots of those lying around. He doesn't have any huge plushies, because of his tiny apartment he can't keep them, but he does have some medium-sized ones.

Mason does have one pet. He has a little sandy-colored Chinese dwarf hamster named Chibi. His cage is a glass tank so he can't escape, and it takes up a bit more room than Mason would've liked but he doesn't mind. Mason likes to draw his hamster all the time, making different characters based off of him. The hamster is well-taken care of and he has lots of toys, but he can only have a few in his tank at once or it gets overcrowded. Regardless, Chibi always has his food and water, his wheel, and a wooden carrot in his cage, at least. c:

You might think Mason's room is messy, but it's actually quite clean. He's neatly tucked things away that he doesn't need out, he always cleans up after himself, and he makes sure everything has a home and is used often. So while it is sort of crowded, it's at least tidy!

I could go on to describe even more things about his room, which he's somehow managed to pack everything into, but you can take a look for yourself...

Mason has a love for the color blue and is pretty much always seen wearing his blue plaid bandanna, unless it's something like a wedding, in which case he'd be seen wearing a blue bow-tie. A lot of his clothes have blue on them, but he's got plenty of other things too.

A few outfits of his include...
-A light blue cardigan over a white polo shirt with black pants, usually nice jeans. He wears this with navy, almost black, converse shoes, and of course his blue plaid bandanna.
-Blue jeans, pretty much any color simple t-shirt, a flannel shirt of some sort, his blue plaid bandanna, and navy converse.
-A light blue t-shirt, black athletic shorts, blue and black tennis shoes, and his blue plaid bandanna.

A few accessories of his include...
-His blue plaid bandanna. He wears this nearly all the time.
-His navy, almost black converse shoes.
-Any one of his flannel shirts, whether it be red, blue, gray, brown, or purple based.

Mason is a very good artist. He very rarely draws realistic things, usually sticking to chibi, cutesy stuff. He doesn't only draw existing characters, but he creates his own a lot of the time. Mason has made several characters based off of his hamster, or at least hamster characters. He makes animal and object characters, sometimes making a bubble tea, cup of coffee, or a plushie come to life. He doesn't really draw other Plumerians that much, but he's trying to get better at it.
Mason's very favorite place to draw is at a local coffee shop. He likes to get a cup of hot coffee and sit down to draw. Sometimes he watches other Plumerians moving about for a bit, using inspiration from their hats, bags, and shirts to think up characters.

Lina - Plumerian - owned by kitty ; ;
Lina and Mason definitely don't get along. Lina's too stubborn, gossipy, and hard to deal with for Mason's liking. He doesn't really understand how other Plumerians want to be her friend too much, and it doesn't help that she teases him sometimes. Overall, Mason avoids her if he can, and if he can't, well, bad things happen.

Hallie is a very sweet and amazing Plumerian. Mason has seen her around a few times, and talked to her twice, but he's never really gotten to know her. To Mason, Hallie is like the perfect angel Plumerian, but he can't get up the courage to go and talk to her.

Mason walked into the coffee shop with his wallet, sketchpad, and some pencils. He sat down at an empty little table in the corner, next to the window. Plopping his sketchpad down on the table, Mason picked up his pencil and began to sketch the circles of a chubby hamster face. Hearing the bell above the door ring, he looked up to see a beautiful Plumerian walking into the shop - Hallie Williams. Mason felt his cheeks go hot under his fur as he looked down and pretended to doodle something. He abruptly got up and walked over to the counter to order a mocha. Hearing a Plumerian walk up behind him, he swiveled his ears and turned his head to the side just a fraction to see none other than Hallie right behind him. Quickly turning back to the counter, he ordered his drink and carried the steaming hot cup back to his table.
Mason sipped his coffee lightly, sketching out the rest of the chibi hamster. Using a few colored pencils, he colored it white with brown spots. Just as he was shading the last bit, the stubby tail, Hallie walked over. Mason looked up in surprise, nearly spilling his drink. “Oh! You… you, uh, hi.. um.. hi? What- hi…”
Hallie giggled. “Sorry about that. I just saw you drawing from a distance and well… wanted to see what you were doing,” she said.
“Oh.. uh.. hamster,” was all Mason could get out.
“Aww, it’s cute!”
“T-thanks…? Oh, thanks!” Mason said, realizing what was happening. Hallie liked it! She liked his drawing!
Hallie giggled at him. “Alright.. well… thanks for letting me see. See you around!”
And with that, she walked off to her table to enjoy whatever drink she had ordered, leaving Mason staring back at her, absentmindedly scribbling onto the page.
