aubree, as you may have picked up on, is always acting like she's the queen. she thinks that she is the greatest seven-year-old of all time and that she should be treated like a royal. being young, she expects everything to be handed to her. aubree is self-centered. she doesn't exactly mean to be that way, she just is. she can't help it. she puts herself and her agenda before others. her friends are trying to change her. aubree is stubborn, though. it might take you quite a while to coax her out of something. it takes a long time to get her to think differently. aubree prefers to rely on facts, or else she takes a while making her decision. this young bean is intelligent. she has tons of knowledge up in that brain of hers. this is mainly because she is curious and tends to be a tad nosy. thus, she eventually gets answers. she just likes to know things. aubree is honest. for example, if she doesn't like the bracelet you're wearing, she'll boldly tell you 'it's hideous'. she never lies. she used to, but she realized it only got her into more trouble. aubree is quite mature for her age. of course, she'll frolic with the other young beans for a while or tease her siblings but when serious discussions come up, she's right there. she likes hanging out with the older beans. aubree is a germaphobe, too. she can be quite obsessed with cleaning and she's always making sure everything is tidy and cleaned off nicely. nobody else minds, really.

Aislinn is a huge daydreamer. She's always off in her own world, the deep fantasies of her very creative mind, and much prefers her self-created world to the real one. As a result, she's not-too-social, happiest when alone or with close family. Since her fantasy world often draws her attention, her purple eyes often have a distant sparkle, and Linn always seems far away, disconnected from all others in the world. Despite this, she's actually an extremely intelligent bean- however, she's right-brained and as a result, quite illogical. Aislinn bases everything on beliefs versus facts, and would rather pursue an abstract career than one in botany, like her mother. Impatient, she can't wait for anything, and grows frustrated if things don't go exactly according to their planned time. It's not that Linn's a short-tempered bean, but she's very easily put on edge, especially if interrupted from her fantasy worlds; and, like her mum, many things can annoy her. However, like her father, she's a bit closed-off and doesn't like anyone to know much about her. Contrary to what one might think, Aislinn only shuts others out because she's so afraid of being judged for the fantasy worlds that are so much a part of her young life.

Her mother amuses Aislinn very much. The sarcastic
and witty attitude she displays always makes Linn
smile, and she likes the intelligence that binds them.
However, she dislikes her mother's scientific aptitude
and hypothetical approach to everything. As she bases
everything on belief, her mother bases everything on
facts, making them practically opposites, and driving
a slight wedge into their relationship.

father (pym);;
Aislinn is truly fond of her father. She's a total daddy's
girl, and greatly admires him. This may partially come
from the fact that she thinks he, too, has some sort
of deep secret- like she and her fantasy world- and she
thinks he deals with it amazingly well, therefore
finding an excellent role model in him. Still, she finds
his ability to blend into the crowd quite frightening, as
she fears she will one day lose him.

brother 1 (wolfsbane);;
Aislinn absolutely adores Wolfsbane. He's sweet, gentle
and kind, and he accepts her for who she is. This, above
all, almost overwhelms Linn with emotion, as no one
else truly understands her. They even share a few
personality traits- their quiet attitude and love of drawing.
Despite this, she knows he is a gullible bean, and feels
odd about that, since she herself is not gullible at all.

brother 2 (friday);;
Friday and Aislinn get along decently, although they don't have much in common. Aislinn spends more time in her fantasies than with her brother, so their relationship is spotty.

sister (mermaid);;
Linn appreciates Mermaid's fierce loyalty to her family, and
almost seems to display it herself sometimes. However, her
sister's fiercely competitive spirit frightens her somewhat,
and she tends to avoid her for fear of accidentally angering
her and starting a fight.

nephew (leland);;
Like with Friday, Aislinn doesn't know her nephew too well. However, she's only vaguely interested in him, wheras she actually loves her brother.

brother in law (percy);;
Aislinn and Percy are very close, mostly because Percy never
fails to make her smile. Due to her extremely introverted
personality, she doesn't know many beans, and can become
downcast by the way others are always "in the know", but
Percy can always uplift her spirits again. His nerdy aspects,
too, amuse her, and she finds him to be a good source of
information- even if it's only about the latest Mario game.

"Lately I been, I been losing sleep / Dreaming about the things that we could be"- fitting to Linn's dreaming about her fantasy world for hours, living her life there even as every bean fades away in the real world. She's much more than an introvert- Aislinn is completely within her own mind.
"I see this life / Like a swinging vine"- could be an opportunity, yes, but also a missed opportunity- precisely what Linn's life could become. It swings tantalizingly in front of her, but Aislinn isn't paying enough attention to take the leap.
"I feel something so right / By doing the wrong thing"- describes what she feels about her fantasy world. Aislinn knows it's wrong, that real life should be more important, she should focus on life around her, not within her own mind- but she can't help it. Having a vastly creative mind, she can invent anything she desires, whereas in the real world she is miserably confined. Therefore, even if it is "wrong", Aislinn keeps to herself, and her world.
"Everything that drowns me makes me wanna fly"- also relates to the vicious cycle of Aislinn's life. Even though she's content with herself, it's only because she doesn't realize just how odd she is, and she is "drowning" within her own mind. Yet, since she doesn't understand that she is literally one-of-a-kind, she enjoys it more and more, and feels like she is spreading her wings- and her mind- every time she lets the real world fall away.

Personality ::

Awilix is a girl that doesn't seem to like people. Despite her mother being much of a people person, Lix seems to take after her dad in the sense of social interaction. People don't seem to be her favorite, but if she does have to deal with them, she's usually as snarky as ever, making some sort of crabby comment or a sarcastic quip. It makes her come off as antisocial, and she's fine with that, she likes being all by her lonesome and studying things.
Lix absolutely has to be technically correct about everything, anything and everything. She will correct people if it's not technically correct. She does her research so she is pretty much always right; if she does come off as being wrong, she will be quite sore about it, and make a snarky comment to bring the other person down.
She doesn't seem to enjoy the sun very much either, she prefers the moon and the stars much much more than the beating sun of the day time. Keeping inside most of the day makes her eyes somewhat sensitive to the light, and she does everything in her power to stay out of the sun even if she's forced outside. If she is dragged outside she will often bolt for the nearest shade around and stay there.

Ixchel ;;
Awilix loves her mom, she relates the most to her,
in her love for seeking knowledge and making
sarcastic comments. Lix is always asking her mom
to help her study things, she asks her about the
stars and the moon a lot, as she is quite fascinated
by the celestial objects. Always begging for a story
involving them or asking her to take her stargazing,
Lix just wants to spend time with her mom.

Mermaid ;;
Her sister Mermaid she tends to hang around a lot,
looking up to her as a sort of role model. Lix loves
her big sister and she always begs her to read her
things or tell her about things, even if Mermaid
doesn't know the answer. Lix also seems to prefer
Mermaid over Percy, if she had to pick from the two.

Friday ;;
Awilix loves to push around her big brother as much
as she can, even if she's little she still likes to try
and rough house with him, or take something from
him. She doesn't seem to care much what he thinks
or how he feels, she just loves to be a snarky little
menace to Friday.

Pym ;;
Lix loves her dad in the sense that they both aren't
quite the most social, they both seem to hold a
similar apathy and somewhat distrust towards others.
She likes her papa's loyalty to mom and his family and
she always tries to be like that, but her personality
combats it a lot, so she always comes to her daddy
with a social issue, asking him for help, sometimes
in tears or a bottled up hot mess.

Wolfsbane ;;
Awilix always likes to be with Wolfsbane when he's
being creative, though she didn't exactly pick up
anything creative, she tries, Wolfsbane usually tries
to help her out with drawing even if it's a stick figure.
She also seems to share a love of music and begs her
big brother to take her to concerts and to let her use
his big headphones.

Percy ;;
Awilix doesn't quite know what to think of Percy in
the present day. She hasn't seen too much of her
brother in law yet, she is somewhat skeptical of
the male. Lix doesn't seem to trust him, but Percy
tries to reach out to her in fun ways, but Lix doesn't
seem to connect to him all that well yet.

Taking Leland's scarf is her favorite, she likes to tease
and mess with Leland as much as she can. She thinks
it's rather unfair that she's an aunt but he's older than

They seem to get along sometimes when Awilix is in
a calm state, but she's usually being aggressive towards
her nephew.
