Introducing Cressida ;
Cressida, undoubtedly, is a plumerian that orients herself around romance. She's quite an interesting plumerian, ambitiously getting to her goals in life and completing them efficiently. This plumerian has a taste for the more lighthearted things in life - she takes life as a game and will do anything to win, leaving others in the dust. This is Cressida's largest fault, which she seems to often counteract with various walls she puts up in front of others in order to protect herself from getting hurt. This leaves her without any proper relations to anyone - once she feels the need that she does not need them anymore, she can easily slip away from them without any afterthought.

Cressida wrote:My opinion on my name? I can't say I've never thought of it before, but in all honesty, I actually don't mind it. I don't really think anyone else should have an opinion on your name except for you yourself. I mean, as long as it's a fairly decent name there's nothing to complain about, right? Assuming no one really thinks about other plumerians' names, that is. There's always going to be flaws within you that make you what you are today. So obviously, I don't mind it, and you shouldn't either.
dreams and ambitions ;
Due to Cressida being such an imaginative, curious - and not to mention, ambitious - plumerian, she has quite a lot of ambitions and dreams. A lot of them are long-term, a lot of them short-term, so it's hard to say what kind of dreams she specifically has - just a mix of both. However, Cressida's biggest dream is to become a professional scuba diver.
It may seem odd, for such a plumerian to want to become a scuba diver. However, looking deeper into Cressida's personality, she is in fact a very curious plumerian which loves to explore: it's in her blood, practically. Cressida, ever since she was young, had been fascinated with wreckage boats and of the like for various reasons. Some might think they're spooky, or a waste of time and equipment, however Cressida's biggest dream would to be able to experience such a thing by diving into an old wreckage. Since she was young she would constantly read up on them and dream of going there, however her parents thought it was similar to a 'phase' and let it slide.
Little did they know Cressida would be still fascinated by these. However, the only thing that's stopping her is her fear of drowning and the pressure from underwater. Knowing that the equipment is relatively safe to use if used correctly, Cressida still feels nervous while thinking about it. Thus, Cressida had came up with new dreams and ambitions for her to continue whilst deciding on that one.
For one, Cressida would love to be able to become either a lifeguard or a swimming lesson teacher, preferably the second choice out of any. Giving her knowledge on the sea would be more than she could ask for in life, and getting paid for it? She's sold on the job! For now, however, she settles for a job at a nearby diner as a waitress. As mentioned in her history section, which you'll get to soon, Cressida previously had a knack for cooking - but she soon dropped it after getting burnt - so having the opportunity to be around others who cook is something she enjoys.
Other than that, Cressida would really like to have a good set of friends that she can rely on. She can worry about romance later, however Cressida wants nothing more than other plumerians to rely on and step up if she ever needs it.
personality ;
[ curious - appreciative - unattached - intelligent - loyal - pressured - insecure ]
There are many ways to describe Cressida. It honestly depends what type of person you are to see different sides of Cressida, so various people see different things in her. However, she can be most indefinitely described as complex. Cressida, at first sight, is described as arrogant, impulsive, and ambitious, but upon a closer examination, she is nearly the opposite. Despite what you may think, Cressida is someone who constantly claims dishonest things. Dishonesty can be generally considered her largest fault in all, which makes it hard to be truthful with herself. She constantly doubts herself in many ways, whether it be what she can or cannot do, or how good she can do certain things. Overall, Cressida is a very judging person towards her own behaviour and is constantly beating herself up for it. For Cressida, knowing that she embarrassed herself during something is more than enough for her to think it over for quite a few days. She thinks embarrassing herself is the worst possible thing that could happen while socializing with others -- which is why she's so cautious when talking to others, reviewing every single action of hers before she actually executes it.
Unlike many plumerians, Cressida believes she has a lot to hide to refrain from being embarrassed. She often puts up walls separating others from her, including a protective personality to go with it. She tries to pretend like she's much more arrogant than she is, dwelling in romance and affection and socializing like she has only one day of her life left. This may seem odd for such a plumerian, but the fact that Cressida dwells on such insecurities makes her behave like she doesn't think she has any.
However, what lies underneath her protective fronts? Many things. For one, Cressida is quite the loyal plumerian. Despite her impulsive behaviour, she actually is quite the protective and loyal friend to others. Unlike with herself how she often chooses to do what she thinks others would like, with friends, she does what is right. Her social nature, despite how it looks, is something she is quite the opposite of. Anyone who just met Cressida would probably say, in the scheme of things, she does not appreciate things as much as others do, especially the company of others. However, this is not true. Often, Cressida will think constantly about how lucky she is nevertheless to have friendships and her life itself, but never usually mentions it. Overall, however, she can be very valuing and appreciative of even the tiniest of things. One of Cressida's largest traits, however, is being unattached to things. Often she can let go of something with ease - exceptions including her fears and doubts - like people or objects. However, this also leads her to be very emotionless when dealing with relationships. She doesn't dwell in being happy or sad, she's just. . neutral. This can be hard for her to get into actual, real relationships with others, friends or not. Another of Cressida's more larger traits is the fact that's she's quite curious. Curiosity never ends for her - she's constantly wondering about the oddest of things and exploring new places to see. That's one of the reasons why she loves swimming so much. You get to explore the unknown, constantly changing. This also explains one of Cressida's dreams - to become a scuba diver. She absolutely loves old tales about forgotten and sunken ships, and it'd be a dream come true of hers if she could do it professionally. Unfortunately, she has no idea where or how to start.
Cressida often lies to herself and others, which is where her negative traits from. Even herself can't often tell what is real or fake with her, and it often makes her mad at herself. Despite how calm she looks on the outside, Cressida is often at war with herself. It's hectic in her mind, and Cressida is battling whether or not to cave into it.

Continuing to Introduce Cressida ;
However, despite being quite a social plumerian, Cressida dislikes being around plumerians in a casual way. This doesn't mean she prefers to be alone - it actually means she's not the type of plumerian who can be pleased so easily. As mentioned before, life is a game to Cressida; so she strives to achieve various goals she's set for herself by using any means she can accomplish. Thus, she may dislike a regular conversation, but having an interesting one would make her feel more drawn towards socializing with others.
Cressida often finds many things boring and distasteful, and few things which she finds interesting..however, this doesn't place her under a category of extremely hard to please. In fact, it's simple to make her happy; only if you know whatmakes her so happy. These sort of things that please her include befriending her, as an actual friend, nothing more. Cressida is quite lonely, despite the sociable and confident front she puts up..which often leaves her as a very vulnerable plumerian with it. These walls are quite firm for Cressida, even though she doesn't realize it. She excludes herself from any real form of love or friendship, only taking it as a mere game which nobody seems to understand as of why. Although the reasoning is relatively simple, Cressida won't admit it. It's simply because she's afraid of being weak, and broken by others, however you may interpret that.
Overall, Cressida seeks drama and adrenaline in life. As an ambitious plumerian, she strives to complete her goals and dreams despite also hurting others in the process. It's too hard of a habit of Cressida's to break, and unfortunately, she can't back out now.

Carrying two distinctive personalities, Cressida can be sometimes difficult to befriend. She is constantly changing in regards of her mentality and personality, which is the source of most of her insecurities: herself. Because of these insecurities, Cressida insists upon creating multiple walls from keeping herself from getting hurt. Ultimately this holds her back from creating long-term friendships, something that she longs to have.
Overall, Cressida can be considered social, however a lot of the times she'll need to cool down after being around large groups for a long period of time. This can often be considered not as social as you'd imagine, however, it plays a very small role in whether or not Cressida participates with others frequently. Despite feeling slightly pressured to be around others or be claimed as a social outcast, Cressida prefers to be alone sometimes rather than with groups but she's slightly scared to admit it. The biggest issue with Cressida is her honesty with herself - she claims to be quite honest with herself but she's not, as it suggests itself. If she were to let go of her fears and insecurities, she'd be a much better person, but for this plumerian, it's nearly impossible.
Often Cressida will think about things a lot more than others do as she's nervous of embarrassing herself. Even though being a realist, she can sometimes see things go both the right and wrong way, which she's normally more inclined to believe that what she believes might happen. This can cause hesitation with some of her actions, however, when Cressida begins to feel more competitive around others, that changes slightly.

how did she get her accessories?
Cressida, as her love for the sea shows, has a few
accessories to show for it. She claims she's quite curious
as a plumerian - she will often pick up random things
from the sea floor to add to her collections of whatever
she finds. However, unlike that, Cressida had gotten
these stuck to her and kept them for the sake of
memories. As an overall, the netting was in an
accident and the others were unintentionally stuck
to her - however, the story below describes how
Cressida really had gotten these.

Cressida is a fairly average

Cressida appreciates it a lot.

stories on how she got her accessories -
[ tail netting ]
Cressida loved scouring the ocean for shiny trinkets and shimmering pearls. A part of her life was spent in the ocean, skimming the bottom for anything to call hers. The water was so clear, Cressida could easily see the sandy bottom, and a flash of silvery white caught her eye. A brilliant, glistening pearl rested on the very bottom of the ocean, like a perfect egg in a perfect sandy nest. Making a quick dive down from the surface, Cressida used her strong paws to propel her downwards. She was making nice progress, nearly at the sandy plateau, but suddenly there was something around her, encasing her, and preventing her from moving forward... and backwards... preventing her from moving anywhere! Cressida opened her jaws to scream for help, but mere bubbles escaped, and the salty tang of ocean water filled her mouth and throat, replacing air.
Flailing her paws, and thrashing like a fish out of water, she felt her lungs compressing and realized she couldn't stay under much longer. Cressida felt herself sinking deeper into the net, jerking to a stop suddenly. Looking back, she realized her tail had become entangled in the black net. As she manoeuvred her paws around, her left one became caught up in the net like her tail. As blackness began to creep into the edges of her vision, Cressida realized this was do or die. Anger surging for her at all her life had ahead of her, strength came rushing through her entire body. With a jerk, her paw came undone, except for a ring of net left around it. Grasping the net between her front paws, Cressida pulled her body forward, tearing her tail free and leaving a substantial gap in the netting. Seizing the opportunity, Cressida dragged her body through the water, breaking through into the surface world.
Gasping and dragging her exhausted body onto the shore, she lay limp for a while, before sitting up and examining the pieces of netting stuck to her tail and left paw. Cressida eventually decided to keep the pieces as a reminder of her horrible near-death experience.
[ the starfish in her hair ]
As an average day for Cressida would seem, she was sitting at a dock near her home with a small MP3 player in her grasp. Placing a paw in the water, she swished it around aimlessly and looked up at the sky. The clouds were covering surrounding parts of the town by the looks of it, however, where she had seemed to be standing, the sun was in clear view and with no sight of rain. She looked down at the water for a moment, sitting in thought of the things that came to mind.
A moment later, the plumerian stood up, ready to almost leave. However, as she was about to leave, something had caught her eye. A small, red object had seemed to be floating in the ocean. It glimmered in the sunlight, and appeared to be drifting off further into the deeper part of the ocean. Cressida turned to it, looking at it in curiosity. Subconsciously walking towards it, the plumerian began heading into the water and started swimming towards it. It had seemed to be a red starfish.
Eventually, Cressida had caught up with it, however, she made it into a small game of chasing it around, despite it probably not being able to understand what she was doing. She enjoyed it for awhile, playing with it until dusk.
The next day Cressida had gone to the souvenir shop at the beach she had been to yesterday. She was really there for a birthday present for her friend, however, upon searching the shelves, Cressida had found a good-sized red starfish for a fairly good price. Picking it up gingerly, she stared at in remembrance of the red starfish from earlier. Placing it down in front of the cashier, she ended up buying it and placing it in her hair.
Ever since, she's stuck on various pearls to it she found in the ocean, claiming it to be her good luck charm.
Cressida had been out exploring all day, despite being very tired from yesterday's game of volleyball she had participated in on the beach. She had collected quite a few items, however none which had actually stayed with her. She ended up releasing them back into the ocean for another plumerian to find, not worrying about enlarging her collection this time.
Except for this moment.
The plumerian had seen a very interesting item at the bottom of the sea and she was quite determined to get it. It was a single, ordinary shell, however it was quite shiny and simply perfect in Cressida's view and she just had to have it. It wasn't fairly large, and while quite hard for the girl to see, Cressida immediately spotted it on the sandy floor and was determined to get the seemingly simple shell as a keepsake for this unique spot she had found for swimming.
Unfortunately for her, it was hidden under a few medium-sized rocks encased in kelp and other materials including a small, blue starfish. Reaching into the small cavern formed by the rocks to reach for the shell, Cressida pulled her paw out to discover her netting on her paw had been encased in both kelp, the starfish, another shell and the shell she had originally wanted itself. Too scared to remove it in fear of breaking the shell, she's kept it ever since.

Reaching into the small cavern formed by the rocks to reach for the shell, Cressida pulled her paw out to discover her netting on her paw had been encased in both kelp, the starfish, another shell and the shell she had originally wanted itself. Too scared to remove it in fear of breaking the shell, she's kept it ever since.

advantages ;
- fairly strong due to swimming
- she can breathe fairly long underwater, however Cressida is
often scared she might drown: in the result, she often ends
going back up for air despite being able to stay underwater for
much longer than she gives herself credit for.
disadvantages ;
- after she goes swimming for a long period of time, Cressida
will often having a hard time getting used to the ground again
[she will feel uncertain walking and is often clumsy]
- has a hard time keeping secrets

Meeting Cressida ;
"Hi there! I'm Cressida. I don't suppose you know quite a lot about me, so I guess I'm here to tell you that. It's not that interesting, I'll admit. However, if you plan on getting to know me - sit through and endure it. Born on October 12th, 1994, as a Libra, I was the only child out of my family but didn't mind. I didn't have the most exciting childhood, but I did get to know myself a lot better than I would've thought beforehand.
My interests, hmm? I've never really thought about it before much. I do what I want to do when I want to; you can't pin-point what I like since it changes so frequently. However, I've always had a liking for music and swimming. That's never changed in my life at all. Swimming is something for me that I simply love as an indescribable relationship. It loves me as much as I love it, and it's been a crutch for me throughout my life. Similar to me, it understands something not many people do: internal peace. It's calm, collected waves never rest, constantly in motion. It leaves me alone, but not the feeling of loneliness. Music, however, does the opposite. It balances my tastes for two very different things so it forms equality. Even if the music I listen to isn't outrageously pop, it simulates the feeling of happiness inside of me and nothing else can do that.
It's quite funny. I've never exactly liked swimming itself. It seemed tiring and far too much effort and injuries. As you can see, I'm a plumerian who prefers the easy way out of things rather than the hard way, but never-mind that. I began swimming at a young age, deciding to go out and try it for myself. It was something simply amazing and I couldn't bear to leave the water when it was time to go. Due to my competitive nature, many often think I may swim competitively, but rushing the thought of something as delicate as that is a waste.
People often ask me my relations to others, but I find that difficult to answer. Friendships and relationships are a complicated thing for me, despite having a fair share of experience with them. I can't seem to find the borderline between love and friendship and that constantly messes up the relationships I have.
As mentioned previously, I was born into a family as an only child. I grew up to be incredibly social as a child, but then I slowly brought myself to a closer group of friends, many hobbies, and overall, grew to be a lot less social. I didn't mind, honestly. I made a big deal of it - about not having many friends, but I actually liked it. I messed that part up in my life and I wish I could have it back."

history ;
Nineteen years ago, Cressida was born to her mother and father on a very bright morning. The city was just waking up, however, her parents were not. They stayed up the whole night, awaiting the arrival of what would be Cressida today. It was hectic at first, having some issues with Cressida at first. However, as soon as it was cleared up she was sent home as a healthy baby.
During her childhood, Cressida was much more of an indoors person. She liked doing little hobbies and crafts with her parents, and eventually before becoming a teenager, she had gotten into cooking. Unfortunately, that was short lived after she burnt herself, and never had she cooked for fun again. As she grew older her mother began telling her to enter summer camps to socialize and to see if Cressida would gain any new hobbies, in which she did. Beginning swimming camp, Cressida had hated it from the very beginning. She didn't like how the chlorine in the pool made her hair feel, and all the people around her splashing was quite difficult and overwhelming for the young plumerian. Eventually she dropped out of it, however unlike leaving the dream to rest, she continued it by herself. Most of her evenings after school were spent by the nearby beach. She was quite determined as she is today to learn how to swim, however, this is where her priorities had changed. Originally, the plumerian had wanted to become a professional swimmer, despite all odds. It was a dream she had not thought of quite as much as she had wanted, which led to an impulsive decision and not a great one for Cressida. Later she had learnt this decision was too impulsive of a decision, and trashed it for a new one. She had not wanted to become a mere professional swimmer - but why not a scuba diver or a swimming teacher or lifeguard herself? Eventually she had aimed for this goal, and she's close to succeeding it.
Overall, her highschool years were slightly better. She had gotten into acting and preforming, as well as singing and playing instruments. That's mainly what she had liked throughout her years. Cressida passed highschool in no time, and she met a lot of nice plumerians on the way. However, we're going too far into her history. Let's go back a little, shall we?
As a young plumerian, Cressida would often be quite naive. She could easily be manipulated, so to speak, and often others would take that as an advantage for Cressida. Eventually she had learnt that others were using her, and she became more intelligent and independent. However, instead of becoming more social, this made her even less.
But that's enough of a summary. Let's begin a few noticeable memories in the form of stories, each from Cressida's lifetime.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Childhood
Cressida's mother placed a blanket down, smoothing it out on the grass and placing Cressida on it. At this age, Cressida was quite small and could be easily picked up. She couldn't talk quite yet, but she's had her fair share of mumbling various phrases and oddities. Upon being set down, Cressida let out a small chuckle, skimming her paws against the soft blanket's surface with a smile. Her mother handed her a small circular rattle and another small bin of toys, which then shortly after she sat on the porch before Cressida to leave her to play.
Cressida, however, was uninterested in this despite admiring and appreciating the gesture of her mother. She looked around, setting the rattle down on the lavender cloth gently. She looked down upon the grass, staring at the green material and reaching out to grab it, however it slipped right through her paws and Cressida had only managed to grab a small portion of what she had originally tried to pull out. Concentrating on the ground, she noticed a small ladybug. To her, it was seemingly a moving red dot with black spots on it, however, as soon as she learnt it could fly, Cressida was much more interested in the creature. She looked at it with her large, blue, lively eyes, however, upon looking at it, it flew away in fright.
This upset Cressida, to the very least, but she quickly moved on to different things. She glanced up at the sky, raising her paws and clenching the air. The blue in the sky was so pretty to the young plumerian - it seemed to make her smile by just looking at it as it fondly reminded her of her own blues on her fur. Grasping and grasping at it, the young plumerian attempted to try and touch the sky - literally. Realizing she couldn't, Cressida laid on her back, staring up at it.
So far, yet so close
Just at your fingertips, yet miles away
An illusion you can't touch;
Is it real, or is it fake?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adolescent
Cressida sat on a stone step, holding a small old mystery novel in her hands. She wasn't really reading it, occasionally glancing at a page and turning it subconsciously. She's already read this book countless times, why read it again?
Setting the old book down, Cressida fixed her gaze upon what was in front of her - the nearby ocean in the distance, the trees, the leaves blowing in the wind. Nature was in it's state of beauty, and it was right in front of Cressida. However, she noticed something odd - something large was moving in the backround.
"What could that be?" She murmured, about to begin walking towards it. Setting her book down she walked slowly over to it, however, it had seemed to disappear. Looking around, confused, Cressida decided to go back to sitting down, and on her way back, heard a small voice, seeming to ask - "What're you doing?"
Cressida was shocked by this, and looked towards the direction of the voice. A dark plumerian was standing there, and she appeared to be covered in white markings similar to stars.
"Want to be friends?" She asked, which confused Cressida. No one had ever asked if they wanted to be her friend deliberately.
"Umm, sure..? I don't see why not.." Cressida murmured.
"Great!" the plumerian said happily, eyes filled with happiness. "I'm Cynthia."
Friendship is like the sea -
it sways, uncertain of itself.

Questionnaire
You'll see at the bottom of the form that Cressida has another questionnaire - that one is different questions [with a total of 110 questions, 160 questions if you include these ones], so please make sure to read both of them!
1. Do you, or did you, have any role models?
No, not really. I admired a few others, but I never really had the guts to talk to them up close.
2. Do you have any heroes or idols, either contemporary or from legend?
Like I said above, not really, except for the ones I kind of have forgotten about.
3. If so, have you ever met them?
Yeah, I knew most of them personally.
4. Did you ever become disillusioned with former heroes or idols? If so, why and what were the circumstances?
Well, perhaps. Our illusion of 'good' and 'evil' can never be certain, so most likely.
5. When did you decide to become an adventurer?
I don't think that's decided by you, it's decided subconsciously.
6. Why have you chosen to risk your life as a career?
I often try to look past that, since drowning is one of my biggest fears, but swimming is also my greatest passions. I take passion over fear.
7. What do you expect to get out of being an adventurer (satisfaction, glory, money, redemption, etc.)? What, if anything, would make them stop adventuring?
Nothing related to fame, but just the sense of satisfaction.
8. Do you have any dreams or ambitions?
Yes, many.
9. If not, why?
If I didn't, it'd probably be because I already achieved it.
10. How does adventuring fit into this dream, or does it at all?
It's practically revolves around it.
11. What are your short term goals (what would you like to be doing within a year)?
Probably to get a better job and find out who I really am, metaphorically. I hope I can get into scuba diving, if not a long-term goal.
12. What are your long term goals (what would you like to be doing twenty years from now)?
Mentioned above - scuba diving. I'd also really like to create some relationships between my friends.
13. If these goals seem at odds with each other or with your dreams, how do you reconcile the differences?
I chose which is more dominant within me: my passions, or my fears.
14. How do you seek to fulfill these dreams, goals, & ambitions?
By being as confident as I could possibly be so I can complete them with it.
15. Do you have any great rational or irrational fears or phobias? If so, what are the origins of or reasons behind them?
Well, I don't have any..'irrational' fears, you'd say. However, my largest phobia aquaphobia, the fear of drowning. The origins behind it? The time I almost drowned -- I've been scarred ever since.
16. What, if anything, would it take for you to be able to overcome this?
Nothing at all. I'm not that kind of person, unfortunately.
17. How do you react when this fear manifests itself?
I'd probably be not surprised, but I definitely think my fears are rational.
18. Are you willing to discuss, or even admit to, the situation?
Sort of; I don't particularly like discussing it, however.
19. What are your attitudes regarding material wealth?
I think it's okay, but not in the sense of you're constantly preferring it over non-materialistic wealth.
20. Are you miserly with your share of the wealth, or do you spend it freely?
I'm generally in the middle.
21. Are you greedy or generous?
I can't say I'm either one, so again, a sort of mix.
22. Do you see wealth as a mark of success, or just as a means to an end?
A little bit of both? Wealth can be from things other than success, even the opposite.
23. How do you generally treat others?
Depends how they treat me.
24. Do you trust easily (perhaps too easily) or not?
No, not at all. I have trust issues, actually.
25. Are you introverted (shy and withdrawn) or extroverted (outgoing)?
I'm definitely on the extroverted side, but I love to be by myself too.
26. Are you a humble soul or blisteringly proud?
I think I'm pretty humble on the inside, but I try to make myself as arrogant and proud as I can be.
27. Do you act differently than you feel (concealing your true thoughts)?
Yes, actually, quite often, unfortunately.
28. What habits would you find most annoying in friends?
Anything that I consider a pet peeve. But hey, they are the way they are, you can't change them.
29. How do others typically react to you?
I don't know, you'd have to ask them.
30. Why, in your opinion, do they act that way?
Probably because of my attitude towards people I just meet.
31. What are your most annoying habits?
I tend to bite my lip and whistle subconsciously to the beat of songs.
32. What is your favourite food?
Strawberries, definitely.
33. What is your favourite drink?
Raspberry tea, for sure!
34. What is your favourite treat (dessert)?
I really love angel food cake topped with candied strawberries and whip cream.
35. Do you favour a particular cuisine?
No, not really! I'm open to lots of different types of food.
36. Do you savor the tastes when eating or “wolf down” your food?
Well, depends on what I'm eating and how hungry I am, haha!
37. Do you like food mild or heavily spiced?
I prefer mild.
38. Are there any specific foodstuffs that you find disgusting or refuse to eat?
I don't really like mushrooms, tofu, or greasy things.
39. Are you allergic to any food?
Not that I know of, no.
40. What are your favourite colour(s)?
I love pea green, red, and light purple.
41. Is there any colour that you dislike?
Yellow.
42. Do you have a favourite (or hated) song, type of music, or instrument?
My favorite song would probably be Numb by Marina & the diamonds, I don't care for what type of music it is, and my favorite instrument being the flute.
43. If you have a favourite scent, what is it?
I love the smell of vanilla.
44. What is your favourite type of animal?
Red pandas! They're so adorable.
45. Do you have an animal totem or affinity, and if so for what?
Nope.
46. Is there a certain type of animal that you hate or fear?
Er, I don't really like spiders, but that's nothing new.
47. Are you allergic to any kinds of animals?
Not that I know of!
48. Do you have any allergies?
Again, not that I know of.
49. Have you owned any pets?
Yes, I have! I currently own a few different types of fish, too.
50. How many friends do you have?
Well, I know quite a few plumerians are my friends. It's just whether or not they consider me to be their friend.

I don't know, you'd have to ask them.

Well, I know quite a few plumerians are my friends. It's just whether or not they consider me to be their friend.

why I want Cressida ;
As you can see, Cressida has been something I've been working on quite hard for the past days. Never have I stopped working on her form, creating art, or reading my form over countless times to make sure it's simply perfect. I've done nothing but work on it these past days and I feel it's paid off a lot. Over these days of developing Cressida's character I had fallen in love with her, head to toe, and she's just a character I can imagine myself loving and having. I absolutely love plumerians - they're so incredibly fun to draw and I consider Cressida to be one of the most prettiest plumerians I've seen.
However, even if she's quite pretty, that's not the entire reason I tried for her. Cressida to me describes a small part of me, in the terms of her embarrassments and insecurities. I thought for hours over her personality - literally - and I think the final result was well paid-off. She relates to me in a lot of ways and she definitely has one of the best personalities I've ever thought of. Between her design and perspective of things, she really is a unique character to me that I would really enjoy having. Her personal relation to me is quite large - being themed after a mermaid - and as well as her personality.
My favorite parts about her design? Definitely the little freckles/spots on her face and legs, as well as the overlay white on her behind legs and tail. When I was younger, we used to live by the beach. Beaches would be everywhere - beaches with actual shells, rocks and kelp and saltwater. I loved it. Unfortunately due to economic problems with my parents, we had to move from that -- and now where I live it's not even considered to have any real beaches. Cressida reminds me of that, and all she brings is sweet memories of the past. Her freckles remind me fondly of the different colour variations in the sand, and how different each single grain of sand looks different if you look at it individually, not as a whole. The overlay white on her tail reminds me of the seafoam on the beach, or perhaps even the waves. Overall, her design is something I love.
Another reason why I like her so much is the fact that her accessories give me so many ideas for Cressida's background. They're quite unique accessories - not ones you see everyday - and immediately I thought of hundreds of ways she could've received them.
I don't only want Cressida because of her design and character. Cressida is a character who I imagine being quite close to my other plumerians if I ever get more in the future. Her relationship to them would be unique and different -- and I've already planned it out.
Other than that, her hair is absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of my own - the similar color and how curly it is - and it's so incredibly fun to draw blowing in the wind. Her beautiful hazel eyes are simply gorgeous, and the eyelashes? She's so incredibly beautiful. <3
If I were to win her, I'd freak out. Cressida as a character is something I can easily picture myself having in terms of how she'd fit with my already existing plumerian, Cynthia, and how well she fits in with me and reminds me of myself. I'd immediately go on the fanclub and introduce her to everyone, as I already did with Cynthia, and as an active user within plumerians there'd be no doubt I would take such good care of her. I'd make and order lots of art like I already have, and take my time out of my day to write countless stories and adventures with her and Cynthia. I would continue to develop her character as much as possible, and create both a website and thread for her and Cynthia. I'd work so hard to make her have the best home possible, and that's that. Ever since the beginning of the competition I've been working on my form nonstop, up to late nights and early mornings, of constant writing, drawing, art ordering, and self-evaluation critique. I haven't taken a break from it yet, and this was the first form in a very long time I actually enjoyed to the fullest doing.
These last few days I've barely gotten any sleep whatsoever - up to late nights and mornings [up to 6:00 in the morning, haha], constantly working on my form. It was fortunate I was able to complete it in time since I had so many ideas for this, but I'm really proud with the result of it. <3
Overall, completing this form has been a huge milestone for me. I haven't put this much effort in a form for years, only because I haven't had the exact inspiration for it: but fortunately, Cressida was this inspiration for me. As I mentioned before I haven't stopped working on this form since I first found her, and it's been a dream come true to find something as amazingly perfect as she is. qvq' My largest inspiration for this form was definitely music. Cressida is a large fan of music not just for the appeal of it, but rather the motivation that comes with it, similarly to me. I listened to it constantly whilst writing her form up, and I think it heavily influenced on what I was writing and gave me much more motivation.
Cressida is the one plumerian in a long time I've seen who I actually connect to. If I were to win her, I'd be simply ecstatic. Cressida is something I worked quite hard for, and I hope it paid off. If I were to win Cressida, I'd freak out endlessly and it'd make my entire month. Knowing how much effort I put into her, it's a dream and a honor to be able to own such a beautiful plumerian. . and I hope this work paid off. Good luck to everyone!
Also, to my friends -- thank you all for the moral and mental support I've had throughout this competition, it means a lot to me! <3
