Prologue
It was a bright morning day when it happened, it was like any other tragic accident. You couldn't see it coming, there was no warning for her, no ghost of the future to tell her to stay away from this moment. She was blind to it, and she knew that was what made it worse.
Circe swam through the ocean, watching the fish swim and dance around the seaweed and other sea life. It was the thing she loved most, almost as much as the Plumerian that sat waiting on the beach for her. As she decided it was time, she walked out of the water and out onto the beach. When she saw him standing there she smiled bright.
"Hello Zar, surprised to see you here."
Azarlah rolled his eyes. "Yeah, what a surprise since I wait here on the same spot everyday for you."
Circe laughed at him and smiled. "Race you home."
When they got back home Azarlah started to act weird, he started to flinch and shy away when she brushed, or touched him but she dismissed it off as just something minor.

The next day it was worse, it was the same thing but his answers towards her were short and snappy. She was confused and hurt. She retraced her steps in her mind to see if she did something wrong. When she found nothing she decided to talk to him.
"Did one of your friends hurt you?" She asked him when she found him.
He looked up from his desk with an odd expression. "No.. I know you don't exactly trust them but, why would you even say that?"
Circe frowned and shook her head. "You've been acting strange lately I just thought maybe one of them pushed you away or left you out of something like that."
Azarlah rolled his eyes. "They don't do that anymore, and I'm fine." He said with a smile.
Though the smile didn't quite fool Circe. "You would tell me if something was wrong right?"
He huffed and said, "Yes." with a snappy tone.
She frowned then walked away to do her own thing
--
As more days passed it became worse and worse until she decided to do something about it. She felt helpless in all this, when her best friend in the entire world, the one that she grew up along, was hurting inside while he let it all out on her.
After several failed attempted for talking to him she decided to go read and let him come to her.
Hours passed and the one Plumerian she knew better than the back of her hand was confusing her. He was pacing through out the rooms of the house and barely muttered a word to her. It looked like a strong debate was going on in his mind between himself.
When he paced into her room she looked up at him with confused eyes. "Whats wrong with you?"
The hurt look he gave her, had struck her hard. "It's nothing, don't worry about it."
Circe rolled her eyes and shot him a look. "of course I'm going to worry about it when your pacing around my room with what looks to be a battle going on in your head."
Azarlah shook his head. "I said don't worry about it, cir."
She stood up walking over to him and grabbed both wrists, looking up at him. "Tell me, please. Its hurting me more than it seems like its hurting you."
Azarlah's expression turned from hurt to pissed in a few seconds flat. "I'm in love with you, okay?"
Circe's eyes widened as she stepped back in fear, releasing his wrists. "We're friends, best friends."
He she his head and smiled down at her in anger. "See, I knew you wouldn't accept it."
Circe shook her head as tears fell down her face. "I'm sorry I cant do this."
Azarlah laughed. "Of course you cant, you run away from problems and change. It's what your best at!"
As he said that she ran out of the house and onto the cliff. She stopped a few seconds, realizing all that was happening around her. The one she trusted, leaned on like a brother, loved her. She knew it shouldn't effect her this much but it did and that was what hurt the most. Like Azarlah said she was great at running away from problems and change and today that wouldn't change. She stood on the edge of the cliff and looked down at the water, tears still streamed down her face and dropped into the ocean. She quickly whispered a 'sorry' to Azarlah before jumping into the water.
Little did she know of the storm that was rolling her way. The water soon grew restless and agitated, it grew into a war around her. It seemed like it mocked the battle that was going on in her mind. The waters turned violent and she couldn't control where she was going, she knocked her head against a rock making everything turn black. In her mind every memory she ever had slowly vanished until there was nothing left.
Personality
Cautious • Calm • Quiet • Solitary • Solemn
Circe is more drawn into herself and more quiet. After the accident everything around her seems unfamiliar and it overwhelms her a lot of the time. She likes to be alone a lot of the time because she wants to figure how to deal with this and who she was before by herself. Though a lot of the time her friend, Azarlah, tries to remind her a lot of things, and tell her of the past even if it doesn't help her. Even though shes still trying to find out who she was and who she can be now, she still tries to be nice, caring, and kind to those who she doesn't quite know yet. She hasn't fully accepted what happened to her but she is trying to get there.
History
It was a bright morning day when Circe was born, it was in a cave where her mother and father lived. They were both excited and happy when they first saw her bright brown eyes staring back at them.
As a child Circe grew up to be a happy, outgoing, and head stuck in the clouds plumerian. She would spend days out in the water splashing and laughing in the water with her parents. That's where she met Azarlah. He was around the same age as her and he was a big ball of mean. He made fun of her dreams, and creativeness and he pushed her around but instead of taking it she pushed back. They soon formed an odd friendship of mocking each other and because of him she grew up to also be a stubborn one.
Soon they grew up together and became teens, they were with each other so much their parents joked that they were stuck at the hip. When they became teens they met other friends, and sometimes they would hang out more with these other ones but they would always come back to each other. They would share stories of something stupid one of their friends did, or a rumor going around, or something new that they dreamed about doing. They always joked about getting a house together and being best friends till they were old and sitting on a rocking chair together. Soon they did buy a house.
It was a beach house that sat a few steps away from waters edge. The house was mostly white inside with sandy colored floor, and it was what they both always dreamed of having. After she was away from her parents, they decided to move away and go exploring. But before they left her mother gave her the bracelet that she always wore. 'It was passed down the line from the kids who loved the waters. I know you love it more than me or even life, so I think you should have it.' her mother told her fondly. Months passed and they lived happily in the house, it was only a few days living there when they fell into a too mundane routine, and maybe that's why Circe loved it so much.
A couple years after living together the accident happened. She completely forgot everything that happened in her life and azarlah changed. He didn't like who she was now. Instead of waking every morning to swim, she sat on the cliff wishing it never happened. Azarlah became more distant with her but he still was there. He helped her out to relearn things and told her memories or what certain items meant when she was confused. But when she always brought up the accident he would shut her down and said that she didn't need to dwell on the past. She doesn't like it at sometimes and wish none of it happened but there's some days where she could just smile from hearing what they used to do.

• Azarlah - She both hates and loves Azarlah, hes told her of the past and all the good memories but he wont budge about the accident, so she doesn't know if she likes him or hates him.
• Her House- Her and Azarlahs house is so unfamiliar, it just makes her feel so small and reminds her that she doesnt know a thing, but at the same time shes grateful that she has it and can relearn things that are in it.
• The Accident - She doesn't know really much about it to decide whether she hates it or loves that it happened.
• Second Chances - it just reminds her more of what happened to her that she doesn't like to take second chances so she does it right the first time or if she doesn't then she forgets about it
• Storms - There's just something about storms that makes her stomach flop
Dislikes
• Being reminded of things she didn't want to learn yet - When shes shoved with all these memories too fast it just makes everything feel so overwhelmed.
• People who pollute the water - The water is her second home, and the people are trashing it. They're also hurting her friends in the water
• People who think they can rule the world - Circe is still a bit stubborn and so when people think they're big shots she just crosses her arms and rolls her eyes at them
• People who push her to do things quicker - she likes to do things on her own time so pushing her just makes her push you back
• Fishermen - She doesn't like when her friends go missing and end up on someones dinner plate or trapped in a small tank.

What happens after this...
If I'm even lucky to win this amazing girl, I know this wont be the last you see of her. Because I promise to spoil her, to draw her, keep her in the fanclub and other things. Her story will also not end here, because with all characters, and people, their history and story just doesn't stop, it continues. And that's what I will plan to do. And with that said, she will meet new plumies, maybe even some she already met and shes meeting them again, learn new things, and do things that will be said in the fanclub through writing or maybe even art. And this is what the future holds for this girl.
Thank you to the people who have helped me with this forum! Good luck to the judges and everyone else that is trying!
