Deerssert are a mystical, mythological species that appear in history every so often. Sightings grew sparser and sparser through the years, but now they've started to appear more and more. Here at the HQ, a centre dedicated to keeping these creatures from being hunted, we cannot foster them all-- and that's where you come in!

The simplest way to explain them? Deersserts are deer with a twist! While the specifics vary from deer to deer, they all have a few things in common. Deersserts have muscle, skin, fur and bone, but they are described as tasting like sweets. Their scent lingers so much that hides carry a fragrant scent even after death. Instead of fluffy tails, they have a pouf of whipped cream or ice cream [depending on the deer!] with some manner of fruit on top.

Size-wise, they're about the size of a border collie, but have been known to grow to the size of a horse in rare cirucmstances. [In even rarer circumstances, they have gotten bigger. This is the largest deerssert known.] Likewise, they are born as small as a full-grown rabbit, and some never progress past this size.

Somber in and out

A grin pulled onto her face, it was innocent and youthful and then we were back to reality, that same smile was a drunken scribble of what it used to be.

The branches were breaking under the weight of dark deeds done unto weaker folk. A morous cloud of black forming around the creatures, her pale veined fingers touched the twigs hanging off one deep azure branch bending low, sitting in her place like some sort of enigma, wasn't this just delicious?

She was bad, she was heinous... She was someone influenced by life. She was no worse than the theif that rips a hole through your window and unlocks the door, leaving no prints, stealing all the money you've worked so hard, so so hard to count up until it really meant something. Instead of using it at leisure, playing around and having pleasure with the things money could buy, you kept it at home to save up for important things. She was no worse than that underhanded theif that we underestimate, underrate in terms of destruction.

They all bowed, that's right bowed, below her feet like the peasants they were, some of their little hands shacking.

It was flash in and flash out. One moment before the haze of it all there was difference the ones born of today could not understand.

After something had happened, they never knew what, to their, now, ruler she had flown far from her land and taken this one as her own. Decrepit queen with her mouth filled with secrets, mysteries in her words.
