gentle; Leah has always been gentle and delicate, taking extra care in what she does to make sure it is as perfect as it can be. She couldn't hurt a fly even if she tried, and even when she fights with her siblings, she refuses to push or shove; always choosing to fight with her words instead. Her gentleness makes her very sweet and somewhat timid; and she is also very sensitive about certain subjects or problems; but she will listen and comfort others when needed; proving herself to be very helpful.

imaginative; Always daydreaming this little girl, she tends to zone out and create her own little universe within her mind. Her creativity in making stuff up makes her an excellent story teller, and liar. So when she gets in trouble lies can easily roll off her tongue. But she has a terrible habit of fidgeting when she lies, usually giving herself away. Due to her imaginative mind, she enjoys art a lot (even though she isn't good at it) as she can draw or paint whatever she is imagining, to let others seen inside her wild mind.

quiet; Being quiet is apart of Leah's nature, the silence helps her concentrate and it calms her down. Leah is not comfortable around people she hasn't met before, but usually she warms up to them, and after doing so she is unusually playful and loud. Leah's quietness does make her quiet sneaky, and she often sneaks up on her older siblings and scares them before quickly running away and hiding before they can catch her.

sarcastic; One of Leah's worst flaws is her sarcastic answers, a traits that doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of her quiet and gentle personality. Her sarcasm seems to make her stubborn and somewhat bratty, but that is not the case. She is just one of those people who has to answer dumb questions with sarcastic answers, and then giggle at the person's stupidity. It is completely obvious how amusing she finds it.

patient; When in difficult situations Leah is able to keep calm and in control whilst others would have give up or become annoyed at the situation. She could sit in one spot for hours if it means she'll be benefited in one way or another; though what others have noticed is that after a while she becomes very tired and will often fall asleep, no matter where she is. Thus proving that she doesn't have the best concentration and that she can get bored quiet easily.

innocent; Like all young ones, she is innocent and naive, completely unaware of the dangers and risks in life. This trait tends to make her look defenseless and sweet, as well as making her look as if she could do no harm. Though, her innocence does have some flaws as she is very dependent on her family and therefore trusts a little too much; something which others could take advantage of and therefore hurt her.

nervous; Being a dark coloured bean like she is, she isn't as bright or cheerful as others; she is shyer and quiet; this makes her very nervous to be in front of large crowds or beans she hasn't met before. When she becomes nervous she usually begins to stutter, her cheeks go red and her eyes being to water as if she is about to cry. Her nervousness makes her very easy to embarrass, this is a trait she is trying to overcome as she hates being so nervous and scared of others whom she knows have no intentions of hurting her.

clumsy; No matter how hard she tries to be careful, she always finds a way to stuff it up. She tends to say the wrong things at the wrong time, she bumps into people, knocks things over and trips over her paws all the time; unintentionally hurting others, something which Leah believes that her nervousness makes her so clumsy and therefore thinks that if she isn't as nervous, she wouldn't be so clumsy. So as of now she is struggling to become less nervous and less clumsy.

➤ a journal; although Leah is unable to write or spell properly she feels that she needs to have this journal so that she could write down ideas or write down how she feels; having the journal with her comforts her.
➤ a purple tiger soft toy; she was given this toy as a baby from her mother and she has kept it ever since, Leah takes it everywhere with her and she can't sleep without it. The toy calms her down when she is scared or worried.

➤ a flower crown; she loves flowers, she thinks they smell good and loves how they look. therefore she makes her own flowers crowns every morning and wears them throughout the day. usually she makes them with roses, daisies, blossoms and a few other types of flowers.
➤ two jay feathers; she has two jay feathers connected to a string and wrapped around the end of her tail, she wears them because she loves the colours and the pattern on the feathers of jays.
➤ two rubber wrist bands; one white the other is black, on the white one is written 'dream' and on the black one is written 'live'. She got them from a friend who was moving away, it is a gift that she'll forever cherish.

➤ her tail curls when she sneezes; this is a habit that has been going on ever since she was born, when she sneezes, her faces scrunches up and her tail curls. On some occasions, when she sneezes, her tail accidentally hits someone else; this is usually very amusing to anyone who happened to be watching.
➤ talks to herself; when in deep concentration or when she is dealing with a problem, Leah talks to herself. It helps her concentrate.
➤ when staring at something she spaces out; it's an odd habit of hers and a weird one. When staring at something in the distance she spaces out, and forgets the world around her, she often accidentally ignores others when she does space out.
habits;
➤ rolls her eyes; when Leah finds something annoying or just plain dumb, she has a tendency to roll her eyes. Rolling her eyes has gotten her in trouble more then once, since it is often taken a sign of disrespect.
➤ fidgets when she lies; when she lies, she is usually able to hide it by keeping a passive expression. But when she does so, she fidgets. Her ears and tail twitches and she often paces or moves her feet; making it pretty obvious when she is lying.
pet peeves;
➤ watching people chew with their mouth open; Leah hates seeing chewed up and mushy food in other beans mouth, as well as seeing people spit. So when someone opens their mouths or spits, Leah often feels sick or has the urge to smack them.
➤ people who walk too slowly; it bugs Leah when others are walking in front of her, at a slower pace than she is. She will usually try to step on their tails in an attempt to make them move faster.

relationship with uranium; Uranium is Leah's father, he's polite, careful, understanding and friendly.
Leah has a very close bond with her father, in other words, she's like daddy's little girl. She loves that he reads to her, doesn't matter what sort of book. She finds that his understanding ways very comforting, and his presence alone makes her less nervous than she is. She feels as if she is safe whenever Uranium is around, as if she doesn't need to feel scared or feel worried. Everything just feels perfect when he is near. Though, it does bother a bit when her father begins one of his science rants; for Leah is not a big fan of science. Sure, the thought of doing experiments sounds fun, but Leah isn't as interested in science as her father is - she prefers her imagination and art over experiments and problem solving.


relationship with panna cotta; Panna Cotta is Leah's mother, she's shy, friendly, understanding and care-free.
Leah shares many similarities with her mother and therefore connects and understands her a little more than her father who she shares less similarities with. Like her mother, Leah carries a journal so she can write down notes and ideas, and together; mother and daughter, tell each other their ideas and how they feel. It's something that keeps their bond strong and it's also a time where Leah can let out all her worries, troubles and expect only reassurance and comfort. Leah often runs to Panna Cotta whenever her brother's be mean or tease her; always expecting her mother to side with her. Another thing she loves about her mother, is the present she gave her. A purple tiger soft toy, it was a simple gift, but Leah treasures it.


relationship with mirano; Mirano is Leah's older adoptive brother, he's shy, curious, determined, open-minded and mature.
Although they're not related by blood, Leah cares for her adoptive brother very much and doesn't care that he has no eye sight. In fact, she's very curious about it. Leah wants to be able to see the world in his perspective, just for one day to see what he has to deal with and how he handles certain situations. She loves watching him and how he moves around without his sight; she finds it all very fascinating. Leah has made up a game she plays with Mirano, whenever she finds him sitting or lying anywhere, she tries to sneak up on him and scare him. She has attempted this many times before, but only once has she been able to scare him as he usually hears or smells her before she can even get close enough.


relationship with hailey; Hailey is Leah's older sister, she's curious, intelligent, gentle, impatient and nosy.
Hailey is Leah's older, and only sister so the two share a bond, being the only two girls (excluding their mother) in a household full of boys. One of Leah's favourite things to do with her older sister is play with her hair, she just loves how soft and silky it feels, as well as how long it is. She often threads her fingers through Hailey's hair and always tries to braid it. Another thing she enjoys doing with her sister is flower picking, even though Leah usually forces Hailey to come with her, she enjoys Hailey's presence anyway. For Leah, the news of her older sisters engagement to Coconut was a big shock, but she is excited for her sister and Leah loves the thought of being a flower girl for Hailey's wedding.


relationship with nocturne; Nocturne is Leah's older brother, he's playful, polite, caring, not curious and a crybaby.
Out of all her family members, Leah finds Nocturne the most annoying; mainly due to the fact that he's a crybaby and that he seems to always get what he wants. Otherwise, she loves him just as much as she loves her other family members, she enjoys his playfulness and usually runs off with him to go exploring and collect anything interesting that they might find together. Like their mother, the pair have their own journals which they doodle and write down ideas in. This common interest makes Nocturne much more tolerable in Leah's eyes and she often shares her thoughts and feelings with Nocturne, like she does with her mother. She's glad that he listens to her problems, and like any other older brother; she finds that he protects her. Leah trusts him enough and loves him, despite her obvious annoyance with some of his habits.


relationship with darian; Darian is Leah's older brother, he's energetic, respectful, loving, sweet and wild.
Leah is often amused by Darian's energetic and wild personality; and she can't help but laugh as some of the things he does. Darian is the family member that helps her the most in coming out of her shell, whenever she's around him she feels as if his wildness becomes apart her and she feels different; free from her nervousness and quietness, and his loving and sweet nature contributes to it as well. She can't help but feel completely grateful towards him. She is often taken exploring with him, usually at random times when she doesn't expect it all all. She finds it fun and exciting, but at times, she can find his energetic nature a little annoying; especially when she's tired or in a grumpy mood. However, Leah knows that Darian can make her laugh until shes crying and her stomach aches, and that's why she loves him.

achluophobia/nyctophobia; the fear of darkness; Leah has never been fond of the darkness, she fears what can lie in it (such as monsters) so, at night, she has to either have a dim lamp on or a night light which brightens up the room a bit.
acrophobia; the fear of heights; This is one of Leah's worst fears and it often leaves her shaking, she prefers to keep her paws firmly planted on the ground. She refuses to climb tree, be picked up and she hates the thought of being in an airplane. Everything about heights scare her and her instant reaction is to freeze, cry and shake.
arachnophobia; the fear of spiders; Just something about spiders can always make Leah freak, maybe it's the eight legs or the pincers. But whenever she encounters a spider, big or small, she runs and hides until someone had either removed it or killed it.
aichmophobia the fear of sharp things; Whilst Leah loves roses, she hates the thorns along the stem, just as much as she hates anything taht is sharp. Whether it be knives or even just the sharp corner of a table. Anything that could harm her and draw blood, she hates.

I repeated my name, and crawled under the wood substance, trying to pull my nearly frozen tail out of the way. It was shocked in such fear that nobody could feel, it felt quite horrifically awful. I can feel tears ready to poor out of my tiny eye sockets, when I remembered. Hailey . She had to be here, somewhere. Boy was it awful to split from your family for even a second, no matter how much we fought over toy cars, or who would earn their first flame first, it's what pulled us together. As much as I hate to admit it, I guess Darian was correct. At this point all I could think about my parents who real names were Uranium and Panna Cotta. I know because Mirano told me.
