And I haven't bred my boy Brendan and his girlfriend Cobalt yet due to they've only been together since April 15, 2014 and I haven't had him pop the question yet xD

First off I do respect you decision for closing these guys down, it really did get out of hand.
But there are so many people loyal to JBDs and who wish to still develop families within the community, the adopts were running so well with only the nursery active. And I for one have two JBDs who'd love to find mates and have children of their own.
Is there any chance of the nursery ever opening up again? Say even just to those who are members of the FC as to make the species more manageable?

I think the nursery should be kept open at least. Its been doing really well from what I've seen, and that still gives non-owners a chance to get a bean one day.

I've been trying for one since I first found JBD adopts (I saw JBD #43 for adoption back in 2011 and then I found out about this wonderful species) I always tried my absolute hardest to win but because I was just a young kid, I had NO chance xD maybe if the adopts weren't shutting down the artists could've put a little more thought into the people who were trying out, because maybe they worked harder than a lot of the others, but they were only kids so their forms weren't that good :3 I never managed to get one, which probably because not many of the adopts designed on the new lines interested me much, but congrats to everyone who owns one! These were an amazing species, and it's sad to see them go, but thanks for all the good times! <3
