➟ Favorite Part of the Game
My absolute favorite part of the game, which applies to every generation I have played, are simply training up your pokemon to be the best of the best- fighting through the anger of loosing battles and the joy of winning them until reaching the Elite Four, where you finally get to see if you have what it takes to win. To add onto this, I also enjoyed the time when I would encounter the Legendary pokemon during the storyline, because it always was exciting to battle the pokemon every game was based off of.
Bourne Airavata is his full name. He will go by either name, though in his tribe most call him Airavata.
While he is traveling to another area, however, he prefers to be called Bourne.
Bourne- by the stream
Airavata- child of water
Bourne, as described by most, is a silent kia who likes to keep himself secluded from modern society and those who live by it. He doesn't want the outside world to change his traditional lifestyle, even though it is always surrounding him. Bravery is also a trait that stands out in Bourne. He isn't afraid of many things, and will always take a challenge. Finally, due to the environment he grew up in, Bourne is extremely connected with nature- almost to an unnatural level. He seems to connect with the world around him, especially when he is around the water. A sense of calm will come over him when he is in nature, unlike the grumpy attitude he will take on when inside a confined space or city.
"Airavata, what are you doing! We need to get going- the tribe is already tracking down a warthog that crossed through our territory last night. We best hurry so they don't leave us behind!" A small kia, roughly my age, spat out at me, glancing around as if nervous. At the moment, I was on all fours behind a large bush of sorts, digging softly at the dirt laid out in front of me. "I'm trying to find something. Now shush." My young, high pitched voice squeaked out as I continued digging. Though I didn't really mind if this kia just left me to work, he seemed to have a strong sense that he needed to be right by my side at all times. I could sense the kia was getting aggravated as I glanced over, seeing him in a tense stance, which expressed his feeling that they needed to go. A light laugh escaped my lips at his stance as I turned back to my work. He seemed to perk up at my chuckle, for the sound of a snort came from where he stood behind me.
After a few more minutes of digging, I felt my hand come in contact with a hard object. Leaning down closer to it, I narrowed my eyes, placing my ear to the object before lightly tapping on it. An empty sound came from the box, leaving a large grin to form on my face. "I found it!" I exclaimed, shifting to the side of the hole to dig a bit more, making it easier for me to place my hand underneath the object, then pull it out. Jumping to my feet, I turned to look at the other kia, grinning widely as I held the box out to him. It was quite a large box, easily resting both of my hands, the edges slightly hanging off my palms. It was dark brown, decorated with gold swirls along the crease where it seemed to open from. The sight of the little box seemed to intrigue my friend, for his expression grew curious as he reached out a hand towards it, "Whoa, how did you know this was here? And, do you know what is inside it? He asked, his head tipping to the side. Placing my hand on top of it, I lightly traced the golden swirls with my index finger. "My grandfather told me about it when he was still alive. Said inside there was something I would need when I got older. I'm still too young to open it today… but I needed to make sure he was right about where he buried it." I responded, my gaze trailing to the lock on the front- outlined in gold. Absent-mindedly, I reached for my neck to grab the object around it- a silver key hanging on a thin string. My gaze wandered towards the kia whom had been with me, who was glancing between my key and the box. He suddenly clapped his hands together, making me jump a bit. "Ah-ha! You can open that box with the key!" He nearly shouted out, reaching forward to try snatching the key from around my neck. A snort escaped my nose as I knocked his eager hand away, hugging both the box and the necklace close to me. "What do you think you are doing! I cannot open this yet… It isn't the right time. I need to wait a few more years." I squeaked out, my eyes narrowing as I challenged him to speak again. My gaze must've done it, because he shut right up after that. Turning around swiftly, I crouched down, returning the box to its rightful place. "The time will come when I must open it. Though not today- not for a while."
Twelve Years Later
It was like Déjà vu. Me, kneeling on the ground, my hands and face covered in dirt. My old friend standing at my side, glancing around as if we were missing something. Though now, here we were, twelve years since I discovered the box, and it was time to open it. I myself was feeling quite nervous, my hands lightly shaking as I dug through the dirt. I, of course, had nothing to worry about. Yet the action of digging up an old memory must have triggered an unpleasant feeling to rise up into me. Though perhaps it was simply the excitement- to see what it was that was hidden inside this old box. "Couldn't we just have brought a spade? It sure would make things quicker." My friend spoke, stepping towards me. I chuckled lightly, looking up at him. "A spade would compromise the integrity of the box. I cannot risk that- and knowing you, you should have realized that." I spoke, though my tone was light- to show I was not angry at him. Looking back towards the ground, I felt my index finger brush a hard object. Taking a deep breath, I carefully dug around the edges of the box, until I could easily pull it out of the ground. The feeling of the box was extremely familiar to me, causing a light smile to form on my face. Standing up, I turned to face my friend- whom had widened eyes and a grin on his face. "Well, what are you waiting for? Open it!" He yelped out, almost sounding more excited than I was feeling. Glancing down, I lightly flicked the key around my neck, before gently pulling the string over my head. Flipping the box around, I quickly found the key slot, before taking a deep breath and placing the key inside, turning it slowly until I heard a click.
My eyes flicked up to my friend, his eyes fixed on the box impatiently. Holding my breath, I gently pulled the lid open. The interior was covered in a dark felt, which slowly faded to a lighter color until it hit the center, where a dark blue arrowhead was lying. I couldn't help but widen my eyes at the sight of it, covering my mouth in shock. "What, what is it?!" My friend asked, moving to stand next to me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him freeze, his eyes widening. "It is made of pure sapphire. My… my grandfather found it on an expedition. He says it is priceless in many countries, because it was an artifact of an ancient civilization. I never thought he would have given it to me, he said he was going to sell it in America and move there." I whispered out, letting my finger lightly trace the edge of it. "Though perhaps he meant to give it to me… so I could move away and grow a new life away from here."
"Are you saying what I think you are saying? Because, Airavata… you have a life here. No need to move away." My friend spoke, concern lining the edge of his voice.
Though, what he was thinking was correct. I moved away a month after retrieving the box, and sold the arrowhead to pay for a small home in New York and attend a college, where I received a Ph.D in anthropology and archeology. Today I still tend to visit my former home, and sometimes wish I never would have moved away.
Airavata was born into a small tribe located on the bank of the Amazon River. His mother gave birth to him on the bank, which gave him the names Bourne and Airavata. His grandfather was the tribe leader, while his mother and father were both the protectors. When his grandfather died, Airavata was told by his grandfather that there was something important lying in rest for him until he was older, and could understand what he needed to do with the object. His uncle had then risen to place of leader, while his dad was like a 'deputy'.

What was your favorite part of the game?
- The introduction to pokemon Contests.
In this pokemon game I love how they tied so many different things back to the pokemon contests. I spent tons of hours growing berries just so I could mash them into pokeblocks to feed to my pokemon. Not only did they tie in the berries and that cute little berry mashing minigame, but also in the pokemon contests they added combo moves! Overall I enjoyed collecting all the ribbons that I could and was very impressed with how naturally fitting their contests were in this region.

- Garreth is a loveable grump who has a face that is easy to read. He is possessive of his things but feels that if he is in a friendship sharing is a necessary evil. When looking at something he wants he tends to pout without noticing it himself. His closer friends have been known to pick on him for always being the first to blush at even a slightly inappropriate comment. He is not very generous and tends to put his own needs and wants before others. Attempting to keep to himself is hard as others seem to be attracted to him for some reason or another. When trying to dodge letting someone borrow his things he uses very vague wording and the discontent is clearly plastered on his face. Even as a young Kia Garreth has always been tidy and liked to keep his things organized so that he knew exactly where each of his possessions were at.
Relationships with Garreth ♥ - When in a crush-like Relationship
When he has the crush
Simple things about someone Garreth is crushing on can drive him to do or say crazy things. If they touch him he is likely to jump yelling "Don't do that!!" in a harsh voice. If they stare at him too long he is likely to pass out from blood rushing to his face. He quickly becomes emotionally attached to things gifted to him by his crush and will have moments of major freaking out if anyone besides him touches what he considers a treasure. If he finally feels flustered enough he may even ask his crush to be his girlfriend, though his vague wording on the subject might make it hard to understand what he is really asking.
When someone has a crush on him
Garreth is unsure how to react when someone tells him that they like-like him. He can't normally continue a friendship relationship with someone who has admitted their crush because it makes him feel uncomfortable. If he is around them after the fact, and he actually does like them back, he can't help but have a racing heart. If someone admits to liking him before he can admit it to himself it takes him awhile to decide if he really feels a strong enough connection to move onto asking them out himself.
☻ - When in a Friendship
He might have a grumpy sounding voice, but his face explains his deeper emotions. If Garreth likes you he will have a smiling face, so attempt to ignore the sarcasm. When in a good relationship, even though he hates it, Garreth will let you borrow his things. He is likely to give you his employee discount at the places he works at and if he is really close to you he may even invite you into his home. Garreth treasures his good friends and genuinely will go out of his way on holidays and birthdays attempting to find the perfect gift for them, at all other times though he is not very generous and can be very grumpy about spending money. The cynical side of him constantly gets in the way of giving his friends his complete trust and he may always be somewhat suspicious of his friends intentions even if he feels close to them.
◙ - When in a violent / hateful Relationship
Even though his name means gentle Garreth has moments where he can be far from calm or kind. Garreth gets into fights often, this is because of his own violent posturing when he is upset. The worst of this habit is that he stands over people and gets very close to their face as he is yelling at them... Generally Garreth is not the first to toss a punch but causes the person he hates to feel as if they need to defend themselves. These types of relationships are fueled by Garreth's strong views on what is right and what is wrong. If someone is doing something he considers wrong he is likely to hate them and voice his opinion loudly... I would not suggest playing keep away with things he considers to have sentimental value otherwise he will be the one to attack first. In his mindset breaking someones bones is easier to deal with rather than having to repair someone breaking his things.Extras:

Current Friendships:~ Faith ~
Owned by Beautiful Sky
The sporty talkative understanding friend
How they met/first impression:
The first time Garreth met Faith was at his part time job working the rental shack on the beach. He saw her running on the sand barefoot, just like when athletes did training to become faster. Unlike all the other runners he had seen perform Faith seemed to oddly enjoy the challenge of attempting to keep balanced on the sand. After her workouts she would often come up to the shack to buy drinks or water. Garreth has always seen her as talkative, as well as friendly, and she generally seemed to enjoy the small amount of company he was willing to give her as she bought her things.
How she feels about him:
Faith thinks that Garreth is just simply misunderstood. She knows he won't change his grumpy ways, but she does believe he can make a good friend. Although she teases him at times, Faith does view him as a close friend. Since Faith knows what sadness and depression feels like she always seems to know when he's feeling down. She ignores all his other bad qualities because she believes you can't change a person inside.

{ Aʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇ Usᴇʀ }
tiiedye.
Hello! I'm tiiedye. and I am trying out for my very first Kiamara. I've been admiring the species from afar for a long time, and when I saw this guy I new I had to try out for him. I've been a Pokémon fan since I was a child, and this guy just brought back so many wonderful memories.
{ Kɪᴀ Nᴀᴍᴇ }
Aequoris
Aequoris is the genitive singular of aequor, Latin for the sea/ocean. I felt this name to be truly fitting not only for it's aquatic origin, but also because both the Pokémon Kyogre and the Latin language are ancient.
{ Wʜᴀᴛ ᴡᴀs Yᴏᴜʀ Fᴀᴠᴏʀɪᴛᴇ Pᴀʀᴛ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ Gᴀᴍᴇ? }
Let me start by saying that I've been watching and playing Pokémon since I was a child and instantly fell in love with the series. My father bought me Pokémon Blue as soon as it was out, and I would play on that thing for hours. He eventually also got me Pokémon Red and Yellow as well. You could say I became a collector of Pokémon games. Anything Pokémon, I wanted it. Eventually I found myself the proud owner of Pokémon Staduim for the N64.
I got Pokémon Silver and Pokémon Gold as soon as they came out, and later Pokémon Crystal when it was released. And of course, eventually Pokémon Stadium 2, where I had the plug in to attach my Pokémon GameBoy games and compete with my Pokémon from there.
Pokémon Sapphire was my first game from the 3rd generation. I remember my mom buying it for me while I was visiting my cousin who lived in another state. She got it for me for the plane ride, and I was hooked. I loved Sapphire so much I strangely didn't even want to touch Ruby or Emerald. Today, I can't fathom why-- All three are special. A few years ago I went back and played both Ruby and Emerald in order to satiate the curiosity my childhood self didn't have.
About three years ago I found that my Sapphire Game had gone missing, no where to be found. Lost in a box somewhere while moving. My mom said "Oh well, it's just a game" but internally I was devastated. So much so that I ordered another Sapphire game at the collector's price when I could have just played it on a ROM through an Emulator.
As of now I've also collected the Pokémon games for the DS and 3DS, including the mystery dungeon games. But enough about my obsession, onto what you truly asked for.
My favorite part of Pokémon Sapphire?
The Contests! There was just something about raising particular berries to suit your needs to making the best pokéblocks possible in order to raise your pokémon's condition scores. Then there's the actual competition part of the contest, where in order to win the Master levels you really had to tie your moves together in flashy combos in order to catch the judge's attention and draw it away from your opponents. I could spend hours working on raising my pokémon with the perfect move-sets for competitions. This also gave me the opportunity to link with my cousin and help each other make pokéblocks rather than just battling.
{ Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ }
Eccentric
Aequoris is rather eccentric, or so he's been told. He's not sure why this has been said about him, although he can admit he does do some things a little differently from others. He doesn't allow anyone to touch his photography or diving gear, as he is very particular about how the equipment is handled and cared for. Before every dive he places three seashells in a line at the edge of the boat, it's for good luck. He also is a collector of seashells, using them to decorate his entire home.
Mirthful
Aequoris is a quite happy individual, he lives his life to the fullest and doesn't allow the pessimism or bad attitudes of other's effect him. His optimism and near perpetual happiness tends to effect those around him, some find him charming while others find him annoying.
Diligent
Aequoris is incredible dedicated to his job as an Underwater Photographer. The job can be tough at times, but he loves. He works hard, but to him it's not really work since he loves what he does with a passion. However, his job keeps him busy, with the constant traveling, diving, and developing. But again, he doesn't mind.
Active
Aequoris is athletic and works hard to stay in shape. He loves to dive and swim outside of his profession, as well as surf and run. Surfing is something he picked up only a few years ago, and he is still only an amateur, but he truly enjoys the sport and practices quite often. When he's in the mood for a run instead he usually takes the path along the shore, keeping an eye out for unique seashells as he goes.
Social
Aequoris is a social Kiamara, enjoying himself the most when he's outside and spending time with others, whether they are close friends or strangers he has just met. Although his schedule keeps him busy, he spends his limited free time doing activities outside with others, rather than resting at home.

{ Tʜᴇ Jᴏʙ }
Aequoris works as an Underwater Photographer, photographing coral reefs from around the world and their inhabitants. He loves his job and he is devoted to his work in every way. He is careful to not disturb the underwater life he photographs, and often spends time volunteering with organizations dedicated to the protection of the world's natural reefs. On occasion he will photograph dead coral reefs in order to educate others on the havoc that ocean pollution causes, however he usually photographs more vibrant subjects. He also photographs sunken ships and other marine life, such as dolphins and turtles.

What was your favorite part of the game? • I'd like to be able to say that I loved battling, or combing through tall grass, or even trying to fill up my Pokédex, but alas. When little me picked up my Gameboy Advance with Pokémon Emerald tightly jammed into it, I always hopped on my trusty Wailord and sped out into the ocean to find a place where I could dive. It was my favorite thing to do, by far. There was nothing more exciting than coming across something that wasn't a blasted Chinchou.

Umi - The pronunciation of the Japanese word, 海, meaning ocean.
Hello! The username is Jensen Ackles, and I am trying out for my first ever kiamara! I am doing a joint form with my sister, WlNGZ, who is trying out for the Groudon Kia with the name Kasai. We are both working very hard on possible personalities, art, coding, and the whole nine yards. Wish us luck! I hope we both get to take home Kias of our own!
For our forms, Umi and Kasai are sisters. Umi is 16, while Kasai is 18. So when I refer to Umi's older sister, it is Kasai! <3
I wanna be the very best,
Like no one ever was.
To catch them is my real quest,
To train them is my cause.
I will travel across the land,
Searching far and wide.
Each Pokemon to understand
The power that's inside
Pokemon, (gotta catch them all)
Its you and me
I know its my destiny
Pokemon, oh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
Pokemon, (gotta catch them all)
A heart so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you
Po-ke-mon, gotta catch 'em all
Every challenge along the way
With courage I will face
I will battle every day
To claim my rightful place
Come with me, the time is right
There's no better team
Arm in arm we'll win the fight
It's always been our dream
Pokemon!
(Gotta catch 'em all)
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
Pokemon!
Oh, you're my best friend,
In a world we must defend.
Pokemon!
A heart so true.
Our courage will pull us through.
You teach me and I'll teach you.
Pokemon!
(Gotta catch 'em all)x5
Yeah!
Pokemon!
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
Pokemon!
Oh, you're my best friend,
In a world we must defend.
Pokemon!
A heart so true.
Our courage will pull us through.
You teach me and I'll teach you.

Well, I know what you are thinking. "Those adjectives literally
contradict each other!!" But, you see, so does Umi.
Around new people, Umi is extremely shy. She will be the one
who purposely mumbles her answers, or simply pretends she
doesn't hear the person/people trying to talk with her or
around her. She will bring her Game Boy Advanced with her
wherever she goes as a source of entertainment for herself.
Never trust Umi to remember your shopping list. Although
she tries her hardest, Umi just has a hard time remembering
things. If it wasn't attached, Umi would probably forget her
head some days! But when it comes to her Game Boy, the
complete opposite is true.
You might as well say she is a toddler in an adult's body.
Half of the time, Umi doesn't know where her own paws
are. The other half, they are up in the air from her
tripping over them. Her tail may as well be a weapon of
disaster, because it is constantly knocking over everything
placed on ground level or up. And yes, that means
everything.
Umi has a soft spot for little kids. She can't go anywhere
without making a younger friend. Bring her to the pool?
She will swim around playing games with a four-year-old.
How about the library? You'll find Umi in the children's
section, reading to little kids. Surprise! Some of her close
friends call Umi the 'Pied Piper' of children!
Once you keep a promise to Umi, she will do anything she
can for you. Umi has a strange need to devote herself to
others, almost like Charity work without the advertising.
The second you prove you are worth her care, she will
literally jump off the Empire State Building if that is what
you need. You can count on her, no matter the time or
place. Unless it is a certain time at a certain place. Her
devotion can't seem to beat off her forgetfulness
sometimes...
Although she is mostly quiet, bring up a topic she loves
and Umi will quickly take the lead. She becomes so
animated when she talks about things she enjoys, and
somehow gets this adrenaline rush that powers her for
hours on end. She becomes extremely excitable, and
very bouncy. Sometimes, her older sister threatens to
put her on a leash when she is like this!

I can only choose one?
Ugh. Fine. But first, I have to say something; Sapphire was not my first game. My first game was red. As in the big old square cartride for the Game Boy Advanced. Not FireRed, Red. And I still have it. And my GBA. I have a game for each Gen. of Pokémon, including the repeats. And Sapphire was one of my all time favorites.
But, my favorite part of the game? It comes with a little story.
So, when I was playing Sapphire, I was maybe 10 or 11 years old. And, most importantly, had never caught a shiny Pokémon. One day over summer vacation, I decided to sit down and play on my Sapphire game. I started off by going out to Route 113, because for some reason I had decided I needed to catch every version of Spinda. So, running around in the ash, I randomly run in to 7 shiny Spinda in a row. Like, what? Although I only caught 5, running into that many is kind of weird. So, I went and put them in the proper box.
Then I decided to go to Sootopolis City for some fishing. Mostly for Magikarp, but hey, everyone has a hobby. Then, guess what.
12
shiny
Magikarp
in
a
row.
How does that happen. I caught every single one. It was priceless. I still have every single one, only three aren't Gyrados by now. BEst part ever for this game.

Congrats! You made it all the way to the extras in my form! Quite the achievement. But before I go any further, I want to say thank you. For this opportunity. With a bit of luck, I could actually have my first Kia. And I would never try for another, ever again. One gorgeous kia is enough for me, and especially one that will need plenty of spoiling. So thank you for giving me a chance at not only a kia this beautiful, but a kia based on one of my favorite things in the whole wide world; Pokémon.
For my first extra, I made Umi a stat card, Pokémon style. It contains all her info!
