So very reserved I recently finished my first playthrough of (a well-done bootleg-- as were all the generation 3 games I bought a few months ago) of Emerald and am planning on buying Alpha Sapphire once it comes out, I gotta try.

{Not only because of the trademark filed for Delta Emerald (which is likely Nintendo just covering all the bases but still cool), but also partly after the main character of another water-themed video game, Subject Delta; a river delta, and the fact that 'delta' is used to represent change and variables... something quite relevant to this Kia}

Favorite Part of the Game:
Let me start by saying that I have been a Pokemon fan since I was... roughly 5-6 years old, waaay back around the time when the anime first started airing in the US. I only started playing the games in 2010, after picking up Soul Silver right before a long holiday trip that left me stuck in a hotel for 2 weeks and earned the games a very special place in my heart. So when I started playing Emerald a couple months ago... it was an entirely new experience for me, even though I'd read up on a lot of the story online beforehand. I really enjoyed the bit of Wally's story (and do hope that the remakes give some resolution to him not just hanging around a cave to keep challenging you!), all the locations were interesting, and it was just a lot of fun!
My favorite part though? Definitely had to be when Rayquaza came down to stop Kyogre and Groudon fighting, that was a pretty intense scene even done in just early 2000's GBA graphics, and is... going to be a huge driving force in my getting Alpha Sapphire, I'm not going to lie xD I really want to see that in modern rendering/sound, it's going to be awesome. (I'm also looking incredibly forward to the return of contests, I had so much fun with those in Emerald! (And it'll be nice to actually have enhancing berries and stuff because the games won't be fakes and actually have working clocks to grow with! |D)

Main traits-- adventurous, strong-willed; though nervous around large bodies of water. Claims to have had experiences with paranormal ocean creatures. Pokefan (duh), island-dweller, tends to juggle too many things he can't properly handle, a bit greedy and a bit of a perfectionist.

i actually replaced the internal batteries in my cartridges a few weeks ago so that i could replay them properly before november 21st
i will be purchasing copies of both games and transfer my Ruby/Sapphire teams over to ORAS when November rolls around, since i need to purchase another DSLite anyway

i'll be staying with this one, despite my loyalty to Ruby. i appreciate this design and Kyogre a bit more than Groudon. they're both very lovely.

The inspiration for the name comes from Rayquaza, or Sky, and Kyogre, Water. These are the Mythical Pokemon (or Legendaries) responsible for natural disasters such as flooding and high winds, and formed the world alongside Groudon.

PokéBlocks/Pokemon Beauty Competitions and growing berries for them

The RSE trio were my first GBA games as a kid.
Even though I got these games quite a long time ago, I remember the berry growing and the competitions the strongest because I spent hours competing to get my Breloom to win Tough Competitions, among my other Pokemon. Although I never got a Feebas from the fishing hole before Fortree City, I know I would have maxed out its' Beauty just to get it to evolve. c:

I was sad when they removed berry growing from the games, because this made berries all the more valuable later on, especially the ones that are only available via event.

I spent hours grinding away on the Berry Blender with all of those people in Lilycove City and once with the Master in my Emerald game.
I grew rare berries like Durin berries, as well as other rare berries of varying flavors for use when I would make the PokeBlocks and spend several days stockpiling from the Berry Master, as well as cultivating berries outside his house before I would turn them all into Blocks in one go. I remember once that in my Emerald game, I walked away with a handful of valuable Gold PokeBlocks after blending with the Master. That was the only time I was ever able to make a Gold Block.
