Kai is honest in everything he says; there's no holding back. He's straightforward and to-the-point, but sometimes others misunderstand or misinterpret him because he tends to get ahead of himself and skips bits of what he's saying. This seems to give him a sharp-tongue; he can come off as rude and a little too brutally honest, and he's not at all gifted with the talent for dishing out compliments, but he really means well and does not purposefully put others down.

His lighthearted and upbeat attitude give him a confident persona. His outlook on life in general is always finding the silver linings and positivity in everything. He's pretty decent at cheering up others if their day has taken a bad turn, and he will always try to help someone smile (but they might end up laughing at him, rather than with him). The bad side to this is that he can sometimes be a little too overconfident and careless in what he says. His opinions are numerous and he's not one to hold his ideas in. He can, and will, offend (not meaning to, of course!), but he usually apologizes later on when he realises what's happened. 

Kai's exuberant nature means he is positively bursting with energy all the time, but his constant need for some kind of adventure leaves him often in a restless state, twitching his toes or flicking his tail. Being restless leads him to make impulsive decisions, such as going on a midnight hike or swimming in the choppy ocean, or trying something completely new (like sleeping in a tree. He got a few bruises from that one).

Swimming; 

Just like most other Pseudos, Kai loves to be in water of any kind. Swimming is his outlet for frustration, restlessness and it is also his way of exercising to keep away the chubbiness which would no doubt appear from his love of sweets. He likes the ocean well enough, and it provides him with a challenge (overcoming the cold as well as the monstrous waves) but his favourite place is the lake near where he lives. The crystal waters are home to a variety of fish and other creatures, as well as bright grasses and flat stones excellent for skipping. Kai can hold his breath for a lengthy amount of time from all the practice he gets being underwater, and he is almost a friend to the fish colonies and can get quite close to them.
Adventuring; 

(yes, it is a pastime) Kai, being the fidgety little Pseudo he is, has a knack for making adventure out of nothing. Spontaneous excursions are his specialty, and he loves being outside trying something new. Sometimes he makes up a story and sets goals for himself as if he's in a(n) RPG, and he'll walk along punching invisible monsters or collecting 'rare and useful' items. Some people might think this is quirky, but it's really quite sweet and fun when he takes you along.
 Wood carving;
Kai has a very blunt pocket knife that he uses to whittle away at chunks of wood he finds on his adventures, and he's made a few figurines. Of course they are a bit wonky, but they are still quite like the creatures they represent (just don't ask him about the cow, he gets offended because it was meant to be a wildebeest but the horns broke off).

- to travel to every country in the world and be able to say 'hello' in as many languages as possible
- to invent something useful like an energy 'potion' that gives the consumer a huge energy boost without the use of harmful chemicals/copious amount of sugar (he really wants to be able to adventure all day and all night) or a small underwater breathing device (realise that these things are useful for him and that's why he wants to create them)
-  to win an Olympic medal for tree climbing (dream on, buddy)

Fear;;

Kai has a fear of being underground and not being able to see the sky. He's not claustrophobic or scared of the dark, just being below the weight of tonnes of earth makes his heart beat fast and his crest start quivering. 
Favourites;;

Foods;
Kai's favourite foods are peaches and spicy meat dishes. He loves the tanginess of peaches in summer, especially after a long swim, and in cooler months he likes to chow down on spicy things like curries with assorted meats. These hot foods warm him up and make him feel better in the most detested cold months.
Movies;
Being one for adventure, Kai has a thing for adventure movies. He copies their stunts and fighting moves (no matter whether they're real or not) and movie plots also give him more ideas for his own adventures. He also likes horror movies because he can always think of things he could do if he were in the characters' positions fighting off monsters and whatnot.
Drinks;
Anything with bubbles is good on Kai's watch. Bubbles tingle in his throat and excite him, so naturally his favourite drinks are fizzy ones like lemonade and sparkling water.
Colour;
His favourite colour is pale mint green.
Season;
Summer, definitely; it's the best season to swim in. He very much dislikes winter because his feet get cold, especially when it snows, and sometimes the lakes and rivers freeze over and he has to swim in the ocean (even though his pelt is similar to a snow leopard, he just hates the cold).
Item;
Kai has a little wooden sword he can carry around in his mouth, and he adores it. Many of his adventures stem from his sword, where he becomes a pirate or a knight. It's quite cute, actually.
