Anubis could be described as somewhat reluctant. He is quite careful and speaks little, though his quiet façade hides the fact that he is confident and sure of himself. He is introverted, preferring personal time as opposed to social events. He tends to consider others feelings and thoughts and can occasionally make decisions that are illogical. In rougher times he is strict and cold, and the more dire matters get, the more his personality becomes withdrawn. He is never cruel or hateful however; he is quite the opposite, actually, and will go out of his way to be the "peacekeeper" and keep the atmosphere free of tension.

▼ Anubis tends to be a little more self-aware than others. He could spend hours perfecting his appearance. Others may describe him as a bit pretentious due to his obsession with having a perfect image. He is just as focused on his personality as well, and making a fool of himself or making a mistake is not something he considers lightly.
▲ Anubis has an interesting connection to water. It relaxes him in a way a lot of other things can not, and whether it's in the form of light rain, a waterfall, an ocean, or a drink, contacting water soothes him. He sees water as something that refreshes him, and if he is overwhelmed by a pesky thought brushing through a stream or standing out in the rain calms him.
▼ Anubis is a bit more imaginative than others, and occasionally he will visualize himself as something he is not. He does not tell others about this, though when he speaks he unintentionally hints at this by using similes and metaphors often. Despite his imagination picturing him as a bird when it's windy or a faster JBD when he's running, Anubis is comfortable with his body and if he was actually given the choice of taking a different shape, he would be startled and would decline any change.
