Cross-species adoptive parents (one kiamara and their mate from another species) are allowed
to adopt as long as one of them IS a kiamara.
If your application is using a single adoptive parent, you are allowed to add one person
that is somehow related to that parent (girl/boyfriend, sibling, best friend, ect) into
the relationships part of the form in place of a second parent.
If you have a single parent form where that single parent already has adopted children,
they count as siblings and would be allowed on top of the above modification.
To those who I've let or will let use Lamis in their forms, I would suggest using the extra slot as a relationship to the clan section.

Seul is very bright, even though through his first years of life with his mother he had no schooling whatsoever. Seul is extremely literate and has basically learned all by himself. He is very independent and knows how to stand on his own and survive himself, though he likes the company of others. Seul is very calm, he has learned to keep his emotions inside his head, remembering the struggles his real mother went through to find him and his sister a loving home. Seul is usually very serious but he can also be very witty. He knows how to speak his mind and stand up to others. Seul is not afraid of many things and he sets the appearance to others that he is not afraid of anything. Inside Seul is a soft, kind-hearted boy, he cares about his friends and new family, he is very protective towards his sister and his loving towards anyone he finds a relationship with.
Esmay is almost the exact opposite of her brother. She is very shy, has little personal confidence, and is very easy to hurt. This small kia is as delicate as a flower, and most don't really know what to do with her at first. Of course, it might help if she would talk to them, but this doesn't happen easily. Esmay is extremely shy around strange people, of any race. She might not start crying unless you look really scary, so don't worry! But it takes a bit of trust building to get those words out of her mouth, and for her to actually look you in the eye. After you get by her anxious untrusting shell, you will find a smart and sweet little girl. It is almost clear, in the way that Esmay does things, that there is something... special about her, although nobody really sees what exactly. She is very neat for someone her age, and artistic. If her brother Seul makes some sort of mess, she will be there scolding him quietly in her tiny voice before taking it upon herself to clean it all up before the adults see it. This little kia seems to want to be praised by adults often, although she doesn't bask in it like most young kids. She just makes a little smile of happiness before going off to clean or create something pretty to hang in her room. That, or go find something else to do that will make her new mom's life a bit easier.

- Seul and his mother Katrina have proven to be very close to each other. Katrina taught Seul how to do simple math and how to read. Seul and his new mom like to challenge one another, such as a simple puzzle or a fun word search. Seul loves his mom because, he knows she would never dream of leaving him and Esmay.
- Seul and Trinn his father do not have quite a well developed relationship. However, when they see each other they make it count. Trinn has taught Seul to hide his emotions, which has helped him greatly. At first, Seul was... skeptical... of his new father. He was a bit spooked being that his father was, well, a ghost. Seul has started to warm up to Trinn though, even though he does not see him often. Seul tries to bring sunshine and happiness back into his fathers life.
- Truthfully, when Esmay first met Katrina, she didn't really like her. The little kiamara was incredibly shy, rarely socializing with anyone but Seul. Eventually Katrina managed to gain her trust, with a bit of help from Esmay's twin. Nowadays, Esmay can be very clingy to Katrina, always wanting to be closer to her, and being greatly affected when her new mommy leaves for awhile. The sweet little girl is always wanting to impress Katrina, and do things for her like make crafted presents and clean the house.

I know what the caged bird feels,
alas!
When the sun is bright on the
upland slopes;
When the wind stirs soft through
the springing grass,
And the river flows like a stream
of glass;
When the first bird sings and
the first bud opes,
And the faint perfume from its
chalice steals— I know what the
caged bird feels!
I know why the caged bird beats
his wing
Till its blood is red on the cruel
bars; For he must fly back to his
perch and cling
When he fain would be on the
bough a-swing;
And a pain still throbs in the old,
old scars
And they pulse again with a keener
sting — I know why he beats his
wing!
I know why the caged bird sings, ah
me,
When his wing is bruised and his
bosom sore,
When he beats his bars and he would
be free; It is not a carol of joy or glee,
But a prayer that he sends from his
heart’s deep core,
But a plea, that upward to Heaven he
flings— I know why the caged bird
sings!

Once in a dream
(for once I dreamed of you)
We stood together in an open field;
Above our heads two swift-
winged pigeons wheeled,
Sporting at ease and courting full in view.
When loftier still a broadening darkness flew,
Down-swooping, and a ravenous hawk
revealed;
Too weak to fight, too fond to fly, they
yield;
So farewell life and love and pleasures new.
Then, as their plumes fell fluttering to the
ground,
Their snow-white plumage flecked with
crimson drops,
I wept, and thought I turned towards
you to weep:
But you were gone; while rustling
hedgerow tops
Bent in a wind which bore to me a sound
Of far-off piteous bleat of lambs and sheep.
