Sure, Hiccup often calls him Bud, but that still could never be the name for such a unique, lovable dragon, and there is no name besides Toothless that can really do this amazing Plumie justice.

Night Fury Facts;; Just a little info for all you dragon lovers who may not know much about this species~
1. The Night Fury resembles an axolotl in general appearance and has two pairs of wings with a shape similar to a bat, two mobile, ear-like plates on the back of its head that show its mood, as well as other pairs around their jaw depending on their age.
2. The Night Fury is the rarest, fastest and most intelligent of the known species of dragon.
3. They have a pair of large, yellowish-green, cat-like eyes and sharp retractable teeth.
4. The Night Fury has a short neck and lacks any kind of horns.
5. The dragon is about 8.5 meters (27 feet) in length.
6. In flight, the Night Fury's wingspan is unrivaled, bearing approximately 48 feet, making it resemble some sort of jet plane.
7. It uses the wing-like flaps on its tail to steer and maneuver, similar to an airplane rudder.
8. This species also possesses remarkable speed and agility on land, being able to outrun and outmaneuver most other dragons and even being able to jump to and leap from various objects like trees or walls.
9. A Night Fury's main type of attack style is dive-bombing at enemies at great speed while being completely camouflaged within the dark sky.
10. The Night Fury is able to become completely invisible at night because of its dark colored scales.

Toothless, when not challenged or threatened, is a very playful Plumie. He loves to mess around, especially with friends. He is really a happy-go-lucky plumie, and isn't bothered by much. The way the rest of the crowd flows doesn't affect Toothless at all, he simply does what he wants. He is extremely high-maintenance, and absolutely adores anything that shines or moves (which translates to everything). Toothless will play with anything he can, wether it means drawing in the sand or chasing 'the infamous red dot.'

Nothing is better than a happy, joyful Plumie simply wanting to spread his happiness through the rest of the world. Toothless is just a joyful Plumie to be around, always smiling and joking about. He is full of jokes and puns, and will not hesitate to use them to cheer others up or brighten a cloudy day. He loves making others smile, wether it be by his jokes, personality, or just his contagious smile. Everything about this Plumie screams joyfulness, until you push his buttons. Then watch out.

This wayward Plumie hasn't always trusted the way he does now. Usually, even with all his friendliness, Toothless remains quite reserved when it comes to his feelings, inner thoughts, and other personal things. With a simple, repeated act of kindness and trust on your part, you may be able to earn this Plumie's trust. Once you have his trust, Toothless will simply give you the world. He easily makes friends, and becoming one of his closest friends is not as hard as you might think.

Toothless is a tireless bundle of excitable energy. Even when he is unhappy, he still moves in an energetic fashion. He adores doing these things with friends, and will invite anyone he knows to come do things with him.

Once you become a good friend of his, Toothless will do anything for you. Even if it means diving into fire for you, he will do it. There is no limit to what Toothless would do for loved ones. And, if he can't immediately provide what is needed, he will do anything he must to find what you need. You can count on Toothless for anything and everything, and he knows it as well as everyone else he knows. Those close to him know he is always there for them, but they know not to take advantage of him. Because he would still do whatever is needed, even if it is simply using him to reach an end.

Toothless was born more mature than most other plumies. He was always a grade above the rest in both academics and athletics, and he has not slowed down. He grew up learning a quick mind is much more beneficial than a strong body, and it has greatly developed him into the plumie he is today.

Until he was about 15, Toothless lived with his parents. When he got older, he realized that the simple life was just not for him. He needed adventure, action, and others who could keep up with him. His parents and friends simply could never keep up with him, and he needed someone who could. So he spent much on the next few years of his life traveling, all across the globe, searching for a place where he would be a little more normal instead of more mature in many ways.

Those years of traveling changed Toothless, and for the better.
