What's a Hazard Cat?

Hazard cats are felines that have been partially mixed with robotics. They have tails made of metal that are severed in the middle, but connected with some form of energy. A glass screen rests on their chests. This screen shows the cat's health with heartbeats or a glowing circle, but there are many other options besides these. The color always matches the cat's eyes. Some cats' screens are full of static. Beware, these are dangerous as they are rare. A small grate can be seen on both sides of the cats' bodies. They breathe through these grates, so it's impossible for it not to be there. What comes out of the grate differs from cat to cat. The most common is steam, uncommon is sound, which is accompanied by mist, and the hardest to find have goo seeping out between the bars. They have three eyes, but the one in the center of their forehead is almost always taped down or covered with a band-aid. It is said that this third eye allows them to paralyze their targets. The pupils are most commonly hollow in the center, but can be regular or slit. Large ears and eyes allow them to see clearly in all levels of light, even in pitch blackness. Their hearing is very advanced and they can hear sounds even higher than dogs can. Their legs are very long, like those of maned wolves, bringing them up to speeds of fifty miles per hour.

Dravite is a brown variety of tourmaline. It is an ideal stone for self-healing, aids in finding emotional strength and self-acceptance. Dravite inspires courage and persistence. It calms and soothes, grounding and stabilizing the inner self.

I decided upon this name because of the cat's eyes and light tail- the colors seemed similar and Dravite is an awfully fun and unique name to say aloud- go ahead, try it! It's a lot more fun than you'd think, trust me.

Drav is ironically not as drab as his name may imply. He's a very outspoken and self-righteous cat who's known to dub himself the ringleader of every situation. He's awfully commanding and bossy- not to mention a bit rude, however he is a good leader at heart. He cares for those who follow his lead and care about his wellbeing- and while he may be hardheaded he also has a natural intellect. He can come up with many wise plans for those he commands- not to mention many ways to get gemstones- a thing he adores deeply. Dravite, in honor of his namesake, is a dramatic crystal hoarder- he absolutely adores them and keeps as many to himself as he possibly can. He cares deeply about his subordinates, however- and if there were one thing he'd give up gems for- it's his friends.

Quirks ;; Drav can't go anywhere without his jewelry and gems on him- it makes him feel odd and it sets him on edge.

Why The Jewels? ;; He started wearing them once he learned of his name's origin and gathered a good number of followers to help him get the gems. Drav only realized later how silly it was that a full-grown male cat was wearing such ridiculous 'bling' as some called it, though by that time he was so used to having it hang around his neck he felt naked and odd without it.

She will sit outside while playing but the closest thing to exercise she'll do is Wii Sports. She's fairly lazy and wont do things that require a lot of effort. She's pretty fun to hang out with but tends to use gaming puns and references that no one understands. Glitz also watches a lot of movies and TV shows. Action is her favorite type of game and film, particularly war based things. When deprived of entertainment, Glitz tends to become moody, bored and irritating.
