"Rudy, we ought to go an an adventure," Root, Rudy's furry otter companion said one morning. "Yeah?" Rudy slurped up the rest of his mid morning root beer and put down the remote. "Grab your gear. We're going to look for that root stone I told you about." The determined Plumie stood up and padded to his room to grab his rock climbing and adventure gear. "You ready?"
"Of course." The little river otter scurried up the handsome Plumies leg and sat, perched on his shoulder.
The two shortly arrived at Plumeier Mountain. With a kick in his step, Robbie started to climb up the medium sized mountain. Now, the thing that these two were searching for, was no ordinary thing. You see, when Robbie was a little Plumie, his father told him about a great treasure hidden in Plumeier Mountain and Robbie knew exactly where. Robbie had gave one last grunt before hoisting himself onto the ledge of a cave. "This is it, this is where it's hidden."
The boys looked and looked through the cave system. They were just about to give up when Rudy had stumbled and found a little hole that lead to a very small opening. "Hey, Root, come look at this!" Root ventured over and looked in the hole. What he found was a medium sized map, with old handwriting on it. "It leads right through town to a building that I've never seen before," Rudy muttered with a smile. "Look! It says 'look with your soul, not with your mind.'" Root looked to Rudy's face with a twisted expression. "Wonder what that could mean."
Rudy and Root followed the map all the way through town. The Plumie screeched to a stop as he landed on the red 'X'. "We should be here," Rudy says exasperated. Rudy sighed and closed his eyes real hard. All of the sudden, the Plumie heard it; the loud, goofy music. He opened his eyes and saw it; The Goofy Goober House of Fun. "It's real.." Rudy quickly ran inside and ordered his favorite. A famous root beer float. and maaaan did it taste good.
