Ty loves simply biding his time in summer. He enjoys the sheer freedom it implies- and how much more time he has to work on the things he loves. It's not necessarily a summer activity, but he loves to sit around at sculpt now that he has the time. From metal work to clay- Ty simply loves the time he has due to summer to widdle away every creative impulse into a fine work when usually he has so little time. His favorite things to sculpt are trees- generally leafless and sprawling with branches. He also enjoys sculpting mugs of other handled cups to hang from the tree sculpture's extensive web of extraordinary branches. As far as more summer oriented activities go, he loves going to the beach and collecting shells or attractive stones to put into his sculpted works- using them as accents in his vases or other generally pottery pieces- however weaving them into his metal tree sculptures branches is another delightful hint of creativity he likes to implore.
