Personality: Cecil is extremely outgoing to make up for his different appearance and mutations, he attempts to combat his oddness with being extremely friendly and warm. Although he's always smiling and laughing, inside he's a big softy and is deeply hurt whenever someone makes fun of him, although he always keeps on a brave face. He is very protective of his friends, and won't tolerate when someone else is making fun of any other Mercat, even though he never stands up for himself. He is especially drawn to young Mercats and eggs as often they cannot see him or do not know that his appearance is anything out of the ordinary. Often he is forced to hang out around other Mercats to ensure that he is safe despite his lack of sight, and has a group of devoted friends that he can rely on to help him along.
Most Important Sense: Cecil's most important sense is touch, as he can use it to guide himself around any unfamiliar area, as often he likes to explore and cannot navigate on smell or sound alone. It also allows him to feel vibrations in the water which come from another Mercats or sources of danger, and he can usually tell whether he should go nearer or shy away to keep himself safe. Due to all of this, his paws and tail have become slightly more sensitive than the average Mercat's, although this can be a hindrance if he ever gets hurt in his travels.

Malfoy is socially awkward. It's hard for him to talk to other mercats, and he tends to say the wrong things, which will generally anger the other mercat, unless said mercat is very patient and easygoing. He takes the blows of the other mercat seriously, and will attempt to exact revenge. However, these attempts generally fail, as he cannot see what the other mercats will do. He will then sulk for a while, and plan. He doesn't make friendships very well, and really, the only mercats that are his friends have a hard time with him. However, he is an amazing artist, despite not being able to see. He displays them proudly, and feels good when he gets complemented. He likes to gift artwork to his friends. Malfoy is also very sensitive, and takes great offense to what others say to or about him, even if it is only a joke. He is also very stubborn, and if he knows you want him to do something, he'll probably do the other thing.

Smell is his most important sense. He can know the general mood of another mercat, track them, and find out what they are doing. He can also tell which mercat is which, what kind of place someplace is, and how many mercats have been and are there. However, he has also developed an acute sense of touch, which has led him to develop a unique ability.

A few Important facts about him:
*He has a unique ability to smell and feel colors and shapes, which helps him do art. He was an artist before he became blind, and that helped him a lot to. He is a sculptor, a painter, and an author.
*He wasn't born blind, however, he lived in the deep part of the lake he was born in. One day, he wanted to draw the sun, so he swan to the surface. He stared too long at the sun, and got blinded. This also explains why his eyes are glowing. Often time he can swear that he sees the sun, even though he can't see.
*The mark on his shoulder is a birthmark, passed on from his father's side of the family. It represents their family "Coat of Arms."

*Malfoy takes a lot of courage to walk of to someone and talk to them.
*Malfoy can sometimes plan for weeks on things that he wants to accomplish.
*Malfoy is determined to oneday have more friends than he has.

"Why does no one talk to me?"
*If he is insulted, he goes into a hole of self pity
*However, his friends will help him out
*Malfoy also can sometimes sink into depression for a while.

*Malfoy was an artist since before he became blind
*Because of this, he knows how pictures work, and uses his sense of touch to put together an image.
*He also, when examining a work of art, can create a pretty good mental picture of it.

"Adrenaline Rush"
*When Malfoy either needs to blow of some steam, or calm down, he zooms down to the bottom of the tank/lake/body of water and zooms up at the last second.
*He knows when to go up, because when the smell of the bottom gets to a certain strength, he knows he's close.
*Malfoy is very strong because of his mutation, like dragons are strong.

I'm obviously a male, can't you see?

I can be just a little grumpy sometimes, but other then that, I'm a very sweet, kind, and caring mercat! I hope someone sees that.

Hearing is my best sense. I am pretty good at it and I use it to hear talking and know how far away things that make sound are. I can also know which mercat is talking, how many are talking, and sometimes I listen very carefully so I can hear how many mercats there are, or I just count how many different voices I hear. My tail is also important.

Now I will tell you about my tail. It helps a load with swimming. I use it to feel around. The spines help me know the texture of things

Everyone was scared of me where I used to live because of my looks. They don't know how nice I really am because they can't see the inside. I hope the mercats here are nice.

My most important sense would be my hearing,because I can get a pretty good idea where other mercats are and usually only need help when I am in an unfamiliar place.My hearing is most important,but all my senses are important.

Mercat's Personality: She is friendly, but most people are scared of her so she is usually alone.
What is this mercat's most important sense(obviously it's blind)?: Smell.
Why?: She may not be able to see, but she can smell things from up to a mile away. If it was hearing, she might not hear something approaching, and if it was touch, she might not be able to know something was coming ahead of time. Her sense of smell lets her know immediately if something is coming.
Other: She is Partly deaf in her left ear, and she wrote a song about her world and the others around her.

Random Facts About Cecil:
~ Originally his spikes were a different color, but he found them somewhat terrifying and so dyed them a nice blue and violet so he wouldn't be so frightening in appearance with the help of a friend.
~ He adores music, although he prefers something with a nice beat he can feel.
~ He is slightly smaller than the average Mercat, perhaps another small mutation, but he is often intimidated by other Mercats and may shy away from them.
~ Sometimes he has a hard time understanding things (especially jokes and social cues) and he is known to blush a nice shade of red that matches the red on his tail and nose, so it's hard to see that he's embarrassed.
~ It took him a long time when he was younger to realize why the other Mercats were afraid of him due to his lack of sight, so now he has to depend on friends to tell him about his appearance and he has to trust what they tell him (meaning he may more or less not really know what he looks like).
~ His best friend is Abigail because she is a PPS Mercat and knows some of the ridicule that he gets for being different. Her childlike attitude also keeps her from judging him, so they get along very well, and are often seen swimming along side-by-side with Abigail helping to guide him and Cecil protecting her from larger Mercats.

Cecil's theme song is "Honey and the Bee" by Owl City because he's always very optimistic and reaching out to others, hoping for the best, but also filled with worries about how the world around him will react to him and how he'll make it through.
