I can feel the COURAGE rising
In the hearts of the Sons of God
I can feel a FIRE burning
Across the earth we STAND as one

Suggested to come from the Greek root word- σβέννυμι meaning, "I quench."
Named after the renowned Mount Vesuvius, he shows raw power like the stratovolcano that destroyed and buried both the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. He is unquenchable, and unyielding to the whim of humanity. He cannot be stopped.↚ ᴰefining ᴰevelopments ↛ᴾersonality:
Vesuvius, as his namesake, is a mighty force to be feared. He is a being of raw destruction and global catastrophe. He is a force of ultimate magnitude, and he knows it. Still, even with his possibly world-conquering power- he is benevolent. Vesuvius knows that he can be one of the most dangerous entities on earth, but he chooses not to. While yes, he will not put up with arrogance and disrespect, but he will not simply wipe another living creature off the face of the earth because he can. He is not some savage, barbaric god. He is humble.↮↮↮↮↮↮
ᴴistory:
Born of celestial star dust and volcanic ash, Vesuvius did not have a start like most creatures in the cosmos. He was created from the organic ingredients of the heavens and the earth, and had life breathed into him through divine power. His small, infant body was deposited literally inside the volcano, where he was named. Vesuvius remained inside the molten lava and magmauntil he felt that he was ready to emerge. On the day that he shot from the depths of the fiery pit, sometime in 79 Anno Domini, the volcano erupted, spitting ash and pumice into the sky while its mouth leaked hot, thick blood. This was the eruption everyone knew of. This was the day Mount Vesuvius became famous. Thousands of people were vaporized in their homes and on the streets as he had the chance to stretch his legs and flex his given powers. It wasn't until much later in life that he knew what had happened.
As an adolescent, Ves chose to explore the world, discover what lay beyond his basic understanding of the universe. He was quite happy he did. Outside of his minute grasp on life, he was given birth to a new way of perceiving life. He saw every creature as they were and how they survived. It was glorious. He even met some of his own kind, which he had not expected. While they did not share his power over the earth and sky, they were his kin. Vesuvius became very clear on the subject of life during his travels. He couldn't have been more glad.
When Vesuvius reached adulthood and had a firm vice-clamp on the main idea of every living species, he went back to his place of origin. It was quite different than he remembered, but he recognized the place nonetheless. He could not believe the change that had occurred. The people that had once walked the streets were no longer there but replaced by the phantom shadows of the lives that were lost. It was a truly morbid sight, but also a humbling one. Vesuvius was now completely aware of the destructive nature his power and abilities held. His gifts were not something to be taken lightly. His blessing of godlike powers, were also his curse..↮↮↮↮↮↮

Amber eyes stared in awestruck wonder at the microscopic life before them. It was amazing. An entire ecosystem at the mercy of his whim. He could not grasp such a wonderful concept. "T-thank you Monk Chodak... This- this is such a blessing. I will cherish this gift for the rest of my life. I will not let such beauty fall to ruin.." Vesuvius looked down into the wise man's crinkled gaze, seeing the corners of his eyes wrinkle with amusement and joy.
"You are welcome Vesuvius. It is a gift befitting someone of your magnitude. It would do you good to protect life with your godlike strength, rather than watch it crumble.. Take good care of this little world." The monk placed an affectionate hand on the giant's shoulder, feeling the warmth that bubbled up from his core. Vesuvius was always warm to the touch.
Nodding his head with a humble gleam in his stare, the male mimicked the man and placed a paw on him. They smiled knowingly to one another. "I will find a way to repay you one day, for everything you have taught me. "
"Do not worry over such matters. I am happy just to know that I have been able to share my wisdom with a being such as yourself. It brings this old man much joy." he laughed lightly, patting the brute's shoulder.
"I will still try. There is no way that I cannot." Vesuvius said with resolution in his powerful voice. "The next time we meet, I will have found a way to give back what you have shared with me." he embraced the monk one final time before turning and making his way back to his home. "Goodbye, my friend!" he called as he drifted through the mountainous region of the Kunlun volcanoes, now taking great care with his new possession.Just fell in love with this pretty boy when I saw him, I really hope I win. He'd be my first Ceiral~ cx If I don't win him then the lucky owner may have my art as well~ Good luck you guys! ^^
