He won't drink from a stream until he has briefly dunked his entire head beneath the water, then and only then will he drink from a stream. No one can name why he does it, not even Quinn, but he does it every time and it completely aware of when he does it. Quinn will occasionally humor himself by saying to someone that is gullible that he does it because it means he had laid claim on the water and that every drop is his. The reactions he gets usually amuse him greatly.

Kodak has a different idea of how to eat these little things. First he practically drowns them in tabasco sauce, then pops the whole thing, shell and all in his mouth, and eats it. He has done this since he was a foal, and most likely, will do it until he dies.
