Username ; ; "star note."

My username is star note. It used to be *shiver* but I changed it a while ago to sort of fit me and my signature a little better. Star note is kind of a creative username because it's two of my favourite things combined! It took me a while to find the perfect combo, but I chose it because star + music note = star note.
Name ; ; "Ominous. Or Omi. Whatever."

I would name this plumerian Ominous. I originally though I'd name her Luna, but that was too obvious for my liking. The word ominous means "giving the impression that something bad or unpleasant is going to happen; threatening; inauspicious." and I chose this because of her dark colors- also, it almost looks like she has dark clouds on her design because of the dark wavy lines. Because this name is so long I decided to give her the nickname Omi.

If you hadn't already caught my many uses of feminine words such as "her", "she", etc, then I guess I will have to plainly tell you that Omi is in fact a female. Girly, gal, gurl, woman, female, whichever you prefer- just the opposite of male.

Ominous' favourite quote would have to be; “We are all like the bright moon, we still have our darker side.” This quote was said by Khalil Gibran, who was a Lebanese artist, poet, and writer. Omi loves this quote because it is explaining that no matter how beautiful we are, or how perfect everyone seems, it's okay to have our darker days; and everyone does. Ominous relates to this quote for sure! She has many dark days and her attitude is often brought out unexpectedly- you never know exactly when she might get them, and that's okay. Because it's who she is. Not only does it have this beautiful meaning that she can relate to, but it says it within a simile that is related to the moon.
