So, my last star wars horses were a hit, and Leia needs the rest of her family, no? I wanted to have a really nice spread of adopts out since I won't be making horses for a few weeks, and here is the first! The mystery sire adopt I did were some of the first I ever made! And I'm celebrating that with a special mystery sire to celebrate Star Wars (Also, the anniversary, May 25th, is my parents' anniversary! :3)
It's no surprise who Luke's dad is, and he will be available later, but I want you to guess what color is underneath his full set.

Describe this mare's reaction/attitude to her foals:
They say that a mother forms a strong bond with her offspring shortly after birth. A connection, driven by maternal instinct, is made which is hard to break. Padmé's relationship with her foals was no exception to this rule. However, she did react slightly differently to each foal, but it wasn't much to do with the bond...
When Luke was born first (yes, I'm doing this in the same order as the movie! XD ), Padmé was very devoted to him and extremely protective over him. As her first foal, she wasn't sure about the possible dangers and sought to protect him from everything and, much to the annoyance of her owners and handlers, everyone. Anyone could touch her, yes, but go near her foal and she'd be in your face, ears pinned back and in a rather dominant stance. It was quite a terrifying sight to those who didn't go into her stall without the adequate protection. She did, however, calm down as Luke got older and grew more independent. She also began to learn that, in the environment she was allowed to raise her son in, it wasn't as dangerous as her instincts told it might have been.
So naturally, when Leia was born, Padmé had a little more experience behind her from raising Luke. She had learned that not everything and everyone was out to get her foals (in other words, she'd become habituated to the situation) and was much easier to work with around her filly. She was still protective over Leia and was quick to lead her away if she felt something wasn't right, but handlers could touch and halter train the filly foal from a much younger age than her older brother. She was definitely a brilliant broodmare towards both of her children! <3
