.:.Name.:.Amaya, a Japanese name meaning night rain - Chosen for her dark colors and connection to water.
.:.Gender.:.Female
.:.Relationship with water.:.Like most of her species, Amaya thrives in warm, humid, watery environments.
Several summers ago, her egg was found abandoned by the owner of an Asian buffet in southern Maine - Rather odd, given the cool winters in the area. It had been much warmer than usual lately, and so it seemed to be alive and relatively unharmed, so naturally he picked it up and went off in search of the egg's owner. He found none, of course - The best guess anyone could give was a family that had moved away a day or two prior who owned a pair of mated pseudos who might have lost it during the move.
After a bit of debating about what to do, the man ultimately decided to keep it. The egg hatched not too long after, and he often brought her to his restaurant with him, not wanting to leave her alone, lest she wind up slipping away out the window and getting lost outside. She spent much of her childhood in the buffet's little pond, playing with the turtle and the fish - And splashing the small children that come over to look at them, too!
.:.Life after the buffet.:.Needless to say, parents were not especially pleased with their kids getting soaked by the little lizard, and the man was forced to choose between his restaurant and the little pseudodragon. In the end, he chose to give her up to one of his employees. Things got a bit chaotic from there, however, when her pet cat started fighting with the little pseudo. She brought her back, and she wound up passing hands for a while for one reason or another, before ending up with a regular customer named Karen. By this time it was late December, and the woman, knowing how her close friend's daughter loved strange creatures like these - And had quite a few odd 'friends' (She refused to call them pets) like them - decided to give her to the young teen as a Christmas gift. When the girl opened the sopping wet little box and found the pseudodragon swimming around in a little bowl of warm water, she was thrilled to bits. She was quickly named Amaya, and has lived there with her ever since.

story here I reserve these ideas: flood, killed almost everyone

PLEASE, don't steal this. Thank you.

Nekana has aquaphobia. It is what it sounds like: a fear of water. The severity of Nekana's aquaphobia depends on the situation, though - she dreads deep water, for example, lakes, pools, creeks and such, but shallow water doesn't bother her. She could splash in a puddle, she even sometimes takes showers, but never goes near a deep body of water or takes a bath.
Nekana wasn't born with the fear of water. Like many phobias, it was triggered by a tragedy from her childhood.

Dropping out,
I don't like my ideas being stolen when I politely asked you not to.

What is my relationship with water?
Spiteful. She hates water! Even for a punk, she has some pretty weird fears.
Extras will be art and a backstory.

What is my relationship with water?
Once upon a long long time ago, I used to swim and play with my sister in the deep ocean. We never left the sea and water, even when we are on land. We had water fights, using our mouth as water hoses and we even turned our bath tub into a swimming pool.
One day, my sister and I played casually, like any other day in the open waters. However, that day, the sea was so still, so quiet, as if the calmness before the storm. And I should have known better than to dismiss my instinct to stay away from the waters today. At dusk, we were exhausted from swimming all day, and decided to get out. I turned around and raced my sister back to the shore. We do this every night, and I always beat her, because she is so little. I did not look back until I have reached the shore. Turning around, I proudly shouted at my sister, only to find she wasn't there. At first I thought it was a joke, I called for her to come out and even at one stage, I started crying, hoping she will pop up out of the waters. She didn't.
I panicked. I desperately searched for her. I dived down into the deepest part of the ocean, I swam 10 km away from shore. There was nothing except the silent waves pushing against me, as if to say: "Give up, she's gone."
And in a way, I guess I have given up. When I told my parents about it, we moved away from the sea. Now, I'm all grown up, living by myself. But still, I cannot live a day without knowing that it was my fault.
I have never been back to the sea since and I have never had a bath. (Showers are ok, though it still pains me). I feel like the water is acid, it burns my heart, slowly chipping away at my sanity. Maybe it is the guilt, but I'm going to blame it on the water.
Note: I'm not afraid of water, it just reminds me of painful tragedies, and I hate it.

relationship with water ;;Since she was very small, Alani has had an intense phobia of water. This is very uncommon for a Pseudodragon, but she's scared nonetheless. There is no reason for this intense fear, Lani has never had a bad experience with water. Her parents and siblings love to swim but she simply will not have it. She's actually a bit of a pyromaniac, she much prefers fire over water.
