What is a Great Plains Equine?:
The GPE are a special breed of horse. They are large and sturdy breed, suited best for working a farm and pulling carts. They also were once used as war horses during the war between the Mountain and Forest kingdoms. GPE stand at 13-17 hands, though are most commonly ranging at around 15-16 hands. Their coats are sleek and soft, the colors and patterns are too varied to even list, though they are most commonly found with a 'paint' style coat. Their manes and tails are long and flowing, their hooves heavily feathers and nearly fully concealed. GPE's have long beards under their chins, both male and female, and have a pair of horns that sweep backwards along their necks. Their eyes range in any color of the full spectrum, and produce a glow that resembles smoke, or possibly flames. They are docile beasts, but are not easily tamed.

Name: Borak meaning Lightning
Gender: Stallion
Height: 16.8H
Personality: Borak is strong and bold but also gentle and steady. When he wants to be, Borak is fast, quick and deadly but he can be very docile and gentle. Borak likes to be nice and kind to others but if someone/thing puts him in a dangerous position, he will fight.
How did you find him?: I found Borak when i was riding through the woods on my sturdy but gentle pony whisper. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and we decided to go for a hack. All of sudden whilst we were in our own little world, Whisper came to an abrupt stop. She lifted her head up to the air and sniffed, she nickered softly. I knew something was wrong. I dismounted and comforted Whisper, stroking her behind her ears. She looked on into the distance. Something was there. All at once, a huge stallion (Borak) and a mountain lion jumped out of the hedges. The lion was roaring in an awful ear piercing way. i almost screamed. Whisper reared, i clinged to her rains, afraid that if i let go, she would run and never come back. The mountain lion was clawing and growling at the Stallion but he wasn't afraid, he faced the lion straight on, his huge hooves pawing the ground. The stallion looked up at me before galloping off, the lion in tow. almost as if he was leading the lion away from me. I mounted whisper and much to her disliking clicked her on to follow the stallion and lion.
we followed for a while before we found the stallion, he was stood proudly watching over the fields. i called to him softly. He looked at me in an all knowing way. The stallion turned his head to the side to look at me properly. I called to him again. He slowly walked over, swaying in a gentle way. I reached my hand out and he sniffed it cautiously before turning to whisper who was nervous and eying him up. The stallion neighed softly and she seemed to take to him, he sniffed and nuzzled her. They liked each other. The stallion turned back to me, i stroked him, he seemed to like it. Once we had finished our little greeting, i mounted Whisper again and trotted off, the stallion followed, i knew he would. He liked Whisper and she liked him just as much. They trotted all the way back home, side by side. I led Whisper to her stall and the stallion walked in after her, lye down and neighed a sigh of delight. I fed them both and sat with them, talking to them before i fell asleep in their stall.
The stallion never left. he likes to go everywhere with Whisper, she loves him. The stallion, i finally decided would be called Borak because of his markings. Borak never wanted to leave, he would roam around and come and go but he never went for long.
