Personality: He is very rambunctious, and often bothers other animals, but in truth he is very secretive. His excitement hides his, although a bit unreasonable, embarrassment. He only eats vegetables and nothing else, fearing the fruit pies other animals offer him. He knows they would laugh, and he fears it. His most wanted goal in life is to be accepted, ever since he was a child. He was orphaned, and was raised by the delusional creature that lived just outside of town. After his mysterious disappearance a few year back, everyone has already forgotten the strange creature, and Hawk was alone again. He fears being forgotten like his adopted father.

Talent: He is very athletic, and never gives up at anything. He has never gotten less than third place in absolutely any contest that he has entered (that includes art, writing, athletics, math, even!)

Phasian, named after the subspecies of landfowl that peafowl belong to (Phasianinae). Peafowl share this group with other birds such as pheasants and grouse.
xxiPersonality:
Phasian is usually very calm and collected, but if pushed too far he seems to suddenly transfer into some sort of hyper state of mind in which he doesn't think before acting. In this state, he does things he usually regrets afterwards like attacking others. He seems to not be himself. This reminds me of chemical reactions, sometimes they don't happen unless they get enough energy and then they change all at once.
xxiHis talent:
Phasian is remarkably noted for his ability to produce abrasive gases from his body. It is unknown how or why he does this, but the gases repel others and seem to burn or eat away at certain types of objects, particularly metals. Not much is known about them as to why they do this, but they are usually putrid in odor and seem to react with his body heat, usually glowing brighter the closer they are to the release sites that emit them. There is no schedule for the releases, but they tend to occur more often if Phasian gets scared or nervous. After a particularly large release, there seems to bee a 'cooldown' period before he can emit more. However, the gases usually release slowly over time and not in bursts unless he is provoked.

we just got a new creature into the lab - IA2740. IA2740 seems very frightened, we are keeping it under darkness until it calms down. we have yet to see what IA2740 looks like, it was moved straight into it's cage in sector 4 before we could take a look at it.

IA2740 seems to be a genetic mutant, we are unsure of it's origins but it's markings somewhat resemble a peafowl. we tried to enter it's cage to do a physical examination, but it seems to be emitting a very foul odor that the staff cannot handle. tomorrow we will try to do the official examination.

the staff completed the physical examination. they had to wear gas masks, IA2740 emitted a very strong-smelling odor. IA2740 seems to be a male from the species known as plumerians, but we will need to take genetic samples to be sure - he seems to have odd powers unknown to the species. more on this will be tested later.

there seems to of been a slight error in IA2740's sector overnight. all equipment is still running as scheduled. we also took genetic samples from IA2740 this morning to send to the laboratory for testing.

the gas emitted from IA2740 seems to be corrupting our system machinery. many of it no longer functions. we will be moving him to a sealed sector tonight to prevent further malfunctions. the tests came back positive for IA2740 being of the species plumerian. we are unsure what causes this gas.

the gas from IA2740 seems to be highly corrosive. it is eating away at the walls of the new chamber he is sealed in. one of the scientists got close to him to get another sample, but IA2740 seems to have forced a large amount of gas into his eyes and now he is in the medical terminal receiving intensive care. we do not know what our plan is with IA2740 if he is so dangerous.
