Flyin Puffballs are cute, magical, cat-like creatures. Some say they are hamster-cat hybrids, but no one knows for sure.
In the wild, they live mostly up in the skies. They are easily tamed and make excellent pets. Some more intelligent Puffballs can use technology and such, with training, but they are more often lazy balls of fluff who like to sleep and fly around. Each Puffball has only one special item such as a balloon that allows them to fly- some are more rare than others. No Puffball has more than one.
So I was asked to do Puffball 150! ovo
Since I'm not finished and will be taking a while longer, I'm saving it now and keeping it as a reserved post until I finish. <3Yay! Finally done! ;v;
This little guy is slightly based off a hummingbird. Here is a list of edits it has come with.Bird wings
Custom Feathery Tail
Flower accessory
Tufted Ears
Long tongue
Slanted eyes
It also has a bit of blush and it's flower pollen parts give off sparkles (It drinks that specific flower nectar so it's tongue also sparkles too). It's colored part of the tail is also appears 'sparkly' (It's a shiny texture but I can't really pull that off hehe).
To win it you have to...
Impress me
That's right, there's no form, you can go wild. You can make super long forms or super short forms, make lots of art, personality, etc! Anything goes. c:
The end date is July 5th, extensions may be requested if needed. <3

❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃❃ ❃ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- name ;; jasmine lumaia Mansi Hanako
nicknames ;; jazzy, jaz, mansi, Hana
gender ;; completely female
age ;; 19 in human years c:
birthday ;; May 16, 1996
note ;; only a few things will be going into the actual form. Most will be done on the website c;-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------~At First Sight~
Just an overview of what you can only see or have heard of Jasmine. You could tell she is a very outgoing puff and has never given up. Although she could get discouraged, she just needs a little motivation and she will be just fine. To could infer that she loves plants, judging by the way she both dresses and acts. Other puffs say she's as sweet as honey but can bite back like a bear, having that special attitude. Most puffs you hear from say she is a very responsible- yet odd- puff. Just about every puffball knows Jasmine and loves her for her sweet, kind, and very helpful personality. It's hard to the her! But not impossible.. ~small personality~
Sweet . helpful . Confident . imaginative .brave . Truthful . sensitive . outgoing . enthusiastic .
just like the explanation above, Jasmine could be described as many positive things such as sweet, caring, helpful, and responsible. Jasmine enjoys having friends and such even strangers around for the company they give and the happiness she likes to give them. Unfortunately, Jasmine has a new negative comments as well. Some say she is a little to happy, but is there truly anything wrong with that? So what if she doesn't seem to get sad or mad on a gloomy day? Another word to describe her would be a little to over confident. She doesn't let it go to her head, but she does occasionally get herself into tough situations. Finally, she has a tendency to hold a grudge if you have done something horrible to her. She tends not to talk to you, come by your house and say hello, or even make eye contact. It was as if you were never there. ~History~
in her POV
"When will she open her eyes?" I heard a soft feminine voice ask worriedly. "I'm not sure, but soon, so don't worry" a masculine voice answered. "Alright kangee, I'm just so excited for our little girl to meet us" the female- my mom- said. "But what will we name her?" Kangee asked. "And what's with those wings? Neither of is have them!" He exclaimed. "I'm not sure, but she's beautiful." My mother soothed, and I needed to see what was going on. Who brought me into the world. I tried and tried until color filled the world, many more puffs rather than just one all staring at me. I flattened my ears and looked around, my mother and what I believed was my father staring at me. My father did not seem very happy. I looked at my mother, who stared proudly at me. "Hey there little winged one, I'm Imasu, your mother" she said tenderly, and I loved it. As I awaited my own name, I looked around the tribe. This one puffball, somewhat bigger than the others with this weird thing on his head came over to me and smiled. "This is your lovely daughter. She is blessed with wings, a very rare sight indeed." He said, looking to my father. "Do not be so hard on her, she is still your daughter. Cherish her, for our tribe may not have much longer" he said. My father nodded, but didn't look at me. My mother finally stood,picking me up and tossing me onto her back. "Everyone, welcome my daughter, lumaia" she announced, cheering erupted from the tribe. A little brown puff with gold flecks around my age made eye contact with me, then looked away. I couldn't help but think who she was, and what did that brawny male mean? Who knows, but I would find out soon enough.
four years later
I sat alone in the forest, humming a sweet melody as the birds perched around on the tree branches. A small hummingbird stood on my head and a cardinal lay between my paws. These were the best times, and these birds were my friends. I looked around, then at my feathered friends. "Who's hungry?" I asked with a grin. We flew together in the sky, different birds together. We were a rather odd bunch, and I didn't care. We all landed in a field full of flowers, but there was this rare one with my favorite nectar, only a few blossomed every year, and since it was late autumn there was only about 2 left. I made sure to grab seeds every time I drank from it, just so I could grow them once more. Once we finished, something caught my eye. It was the brown puff again, but she looked scared. Very scared. I wasn't sure what was going on, so I flew as quickly as possible. As I got there, most lay on the ground, lifeless. I looked around, confused. I widened my eyes in horror as I saw my mother there. My father was grinning madly, staring at me with bloodshot eyes. He yelled a call, but I had never heard him say those words before, no one in my tribe had. Before I realized what was going on, another puff tied something over my mouth and I couldn't breathe. I did my best, but I knew I was going to die. No. I thought I was. Suddenly, my avian friends came from all over and attacked them, one even cut me free. My hummingbird. As I watched some get captured or fall, I cried. My hummingbird friend stayed with me. We both flew off quickly, some of my friends retreating and following me. I needed a new life, and fast.
later that winter
The cold was a killer. Kaliki-my hummingbird- and I shivered as we trudged through the frozen land. "W-were doomed" I cried, falling into the snow. What could I do? Was the world turning against me? no. No. No! I can't give up. I will live, yes. I thought, getting up and attempting to fly. My wings felt frozen, but I could do it. I flew, the storm getting worse and worse with every passing minute. I lost all feeling in my right wing, and I plummeted to the ground. The world went black.
waking up
I groaned loudly, my whole body felt numb. My eyes opened slowly and I awoke in a house, warm with a blanket on me. "A-where am I?" I whispered. I looked around, it was pretty big! Not like any hut I have ever seen! "She's awake!" A young, somewhat high pitched masculine voice whispered. "Shhh.. She'll hear you!" Another masculine voice responded, but it was a little deeper. Probably older. Then I heard a small thump. "Ouch!" The younger one hissed. "Shut up, the both of you!" A feminine voice growled. "W-who are you?" I called out, then it got silent. "See what you did! Way to go!" The female hissed. "It's not my fault! It's kenais fault!" The younger male stammered. "No way you little loser! It's yours Finn!" Kenai snapped. "Both of you idiots stop! We have a guest if. Haven't noticed." The female growled, coming out from their hiding spot. "Sorry summer" two males said, following her. The one called summer showed herself, and I smiled. "Hello" I said in greeting. "Hi there! I'm summer. I'm sorry if my bonehead brother Finnick and his friend Kenai woke you up." She apologized, but I only laughed. "It's alright summer, I'm... Uh.." I stopped short. New life. New name. I looked around, then back at them, then down. "I-i..." I stammered. "She forgot her name" Kenai snorted. I glared at him, but said nothing. Finn apparently got where I was going with this and slapped him, and summer sighed. "I don't actually know them, I'm just their hostage" she said with a grin. I rolled my eyes and grinned back."I can't say my name, I'm sorry. Call me anything you want for now" I sighed. "Alright anything you want, where do you come from?" Kenai asked. I narrowed my eyes, debating on whether or not to answer. "A tribe deep in the forest far away from here" I said. Kenai rolled his eyes, but Finn seemed to believe me. I shivered and I saw him frown. "Follow me" he said with a sweet smile, so I did. He took me to a small fire place where he easily lit a fire, and it was only him and I. "Kenai thinks I'm crazy" I said with a sigh, staring at the fire. "Probably." Finn admitted. "But I'm sure summer believes you. I do. When I found you, you were wearing these" he said, getting up and retrieving some feathers I had. I stared at them. Feathers. Birds. "Where's Kaliki?!" I exclaimed. "W-who's that?" Finn asked, clearly confused. "M-my h-hummingbird friend. Is she around?" I asked worriedly, and my heart dropped as Finn shook his head no. I sighed, my ears flattening. "She was all I had left" I whispered, and Finn flattened his ears. "Well, we could here for you." He offered. "Me summer and Kenai! You could stay here at our hideout, also known as the abandon house in the middle of the forest" he said with a grin. I blinked a few times. "House? I lived in a small hut" I admitted. Finn shrugged. "It's better than nothing!" He said with a smile. "How do you do that" I asked in awe. "Do what?" He said, clearly confused. "Stay positive. Be so nice. You don't get down on yourself!" I said, staring at him. He only smiled and looked dramatically into the fire. "It's not that hard" he said smoothly. "But why be negative and sad in life when it's just a waste of your time." I listened intently at the fire flickered. i can do that, I can. I thought. I was determined to try, but his voice brought me back to reality. "So... What's your real name? I know you didn't forget it. That's just not something you forget" he stated quietly. "Lumaia" I whispered, ears flattening. I shivered at my name, those who used it had just died and are gone forever. No, not forever. I would hopefully see them again, yes? "Well lumaia, you don't seem to like your name." He said, stating the obvious. "Hm... Why don't we find you a more common name, not tribal?" Finn asked with a tilt of his head. I smiled, nodding slightly. "Sure, throw em at me" I said simply, and from there we chatted on and on. From there, I became my new self. I became Jasmine.
many years later; present day
"Race you to the end Finn!" I said with a grin, flying upwards and into a large course filled with obstacles. Fixin, Kenai, summer and I set up fur fun. Now it was a race for me. Summer grinned and flew next to me, but I quickly sped up and left her in the dust. Kenai? I didn't see him around as much anymore. He was still older, and he commonly talked about this girl he liked. Ugh. Then there was Finn. "Coming Finn?" I teased as he ran along the ground."haha, very funny" he hissed in a playful tube. This was my day. My fun. I enjoyed this, who wouldn't? This was my family. My home.❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃ ❃❃ ❃

name reason;;
I chose the name Leilani (lay-la-nee) because it is a Hawaiian girl's name meaning heavenly flower. I thought that a name meaning flower would fit with this girl because she is based on a hummingbird and she has a flower as an accesory. Leilani is a very pretty name and this pretty girl deserves a pretty name. I have a cousin who's middle name is Leilani and I have always thought it is such a beautiful name and I have always wanted to know what it means. Now that I know what it means, I see it as a perfect name for this adorable puffball.
I chose Kekoa (key-co-uh) for her last name because I wanted something unique so I looked up Hawaiian last names and looked through a list and found Kekoa. Ke means "the" and koa means "warrior" or "koa tree". I put Leilani and Kekoa together and thought that they sounded nice together and that is how I developed her last name.
