Have you ever flown across the ground, your feet feeling as if they never touch down and your heart feeling as though you were soaring?
Tobuscus threw his beautiful head back and keened to the sky, his young and powerful legs stretching out in front of him and behind him to cover as much distance as possible. From somewhere near the farmhouse, a young girl's voice called to him- possibly time for his daily carrot? Her voice was lost to the roar of the wind as it echoed in his soft ears, and Tobuscus almost missed the black and white form of Jasper, a stallion who had been on the farm longer than he had by a good two years, as the older horse came running up next to him. Neither had to tell the other that there was a challenge; both could feel it in the adrenaline that coursed through their veins. Jasper was fully grown, and could probably smoke Tobuscus any day of the week, but the elder horse had never tried. He didn't want to discourage Tobuscus' passion for racing, even though he was not a Thoroughbred, nor was he ever going to enter an official derby. Jasper slowed slightly, watching the delight in the soft, innocent eyes of the foal he had seen be born, and felt as though he wanted to protect that innocence. The world was cruel and cold, Jasper had seen it in the eyes of a mountain lion that had taken his sister away when he was young, but as long as his powerful heart was still beating, he would protect Tobuscus.

She is honestly, just beyond gorgeous. Who wouldn't want her? I'd love to take her home and let her roam around in my stables. She will be well taken care of in the herd.
