Hey folks! Here is the long awaited Pretty Prancer #2!
I worked hard on this one, as I did the last. This will take a lot of work. Some Effort and Trivia is required, as before.
From here on out- included in the trivia will be one question about the PREVIOUS pretty prancer! So this one will have a trivia on the Lipizzaner , and the next will have trivia about this- and so on.
This is an andalusian Stallion donning 'Flamenco' Tack. His brands indicate what bloodline he comes from (if its too difficult to find - i'll give hints-). He Has been imported from Spain to CWHR!

This pretty boy features Severe leg edits( the Spanish Walk) , Severe Mane /tail edits (Typical , Iberian flowing mane/tail), minor face edits (for tack purposes) and Flamenco tack (Specifically designed for a female rider. useless fact- but the saddle is a sidesaddle.).
As before, Most accurate answers and most effort wins.

What bloodline does he hail from?: Considering his brand, he hails from the [Maria Fernanda De La] Escalera Bloodline. This is an old and an extremely prestigious bloodline among the PRE [Pure Raza Espanola] horses. "PRE" is another term used for Andalusians.
What is required for a horse to be imported from Spain?:
What is Flamenco?: "Flamenco" is a type of folk art and culture in Spain, more specifically surrounding Andalusia. It involves singing [cante], dancing [baile], guitar-playing [toque], and hand-clapping [palmas]. Each piece is defined by its characteristics [melody, rhythm, etc.]. Flamenco has hundreds of pieces of music.
What, besides Dressage, are Andalusians also commonly used for?: Oh, these creatures excel in many types of styles of riding. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that they are very well-known for their mounted bull fighting. Besides that, Andalusians leave their mark in many other riding styles.

What is the reason that only stallions are permitted for Airs Above the Ground?: Well, first let's start off with what Airs Above the Ground actually is! I answered this question on my form for the first Pretty Prancer, the Lipizzaner. I did add a bit into it.


These are "high school" dressage techniques/movements made famous by Lipizzaners. The display is an air-born version of Dressage-like movements. They can be quite difficult. These include the levade, the courbette, the capriole, the croupade, the ballotade, and the mezair.


Alright! On ward to the actual answer to the question. The reason only stallions may participate in AAtG is because mares' center of gravity is off, making it hard and near impossible for them to do the movements.

What bloodline does he hail from?: this gorgeous stud hails from the Escalera bloodline which happens to be of the oldest and most prestigous bloodlines, famed for breeding bay horses of uniformity and functionality . When the father died the son and daughter split the brand into Jose Luis de la Escalera and Maria Fernanda de la Escalera. Escaleras have a little less elevation, but have better extension, impulsion and suspension and as such are sought after for dressage.

What is the reason that Only Stallions are permitted for Airs Above the Ground? Most of the behaviors, especially the most acrobatic and aggressive ones, were based on natural behaviors the stallions perform when attracting and protecting mares in their herd, and that only the stallions, as males, naturally perform these behaviors, so that is why only stallions and not mares or gelded males are used.
