Name: Theadore (Pronounce Tay-ah-door) Show name Mission Impossible
Breed: Paso Fino
Markings: Stockings, Snip
Color: Dappled Dun
Extra: (Story/Art) One story for both, on Danner's portion.
Personality: Tay is a lovable fellow with heart as golden as his dappled dun coat. This daring dashing dapple enjoys darting in the open air with his double dappled darling friend the dachshund. He is also quite the dare devil, and enjoys dancing to his own tune and beat, in the dark, in the down, in the dusty.
Gender: Gelding - Two breedings available
Dog Name: Danner
Breed: Dachshund
Color: Double Dappled
[b] Extra: (Story/Art) Theadore met Danner when Danner was only about two months old, still just a young thing without much knowledge of the world or any of the creatures and things in it. He came upon the pup in the barn, as it were, Danner's mother Greta had delivered her litter in the barn's back room, in one of the empty apple crates because she was small enough that she could fit inside of it and had dragged hay and a blanket she'd found into it to have the pups. Well, she let them out to explore the room, but made them stay to the room and had not yet allowed them free to investigate the stables itself. The stables barn they were in was called the Lands End barn -yes, we name them-. There were also the Moon barn -its real name is the Second Chance barn-, the Galaxy barn -name the Show Stopper barn-, and the Stormy Winds barn, and the mares barn which is called the New Life barn, for so many foals are born there, but the one Greta had chosen was the Lands End barn, for who knew why. Imagine her surprise when the gelding Theadore showed up at the door, easily managing to open it up and looking in on her puppies with curiosity in bounds to spare. She was not too happy about this, but Theadore had been her friend since she had first met him and so she permitted him a look in at the pups. At that time, Danner looked up and seemed only to focus on the bigger horse...
Well, a couple more months passed and the horse and dappled pup had become very good friends by the time that Danner hit the four month mark. He and Theadore ran with each other everywhere on the land. They were practically inseparable, except at feedings, bathings and bedtime. And they quite liked it that way, for they so enjoyed the company of the other. When Danner had hit six months, he was kind of a terror to his sister and brother, but to Theadore he was ever the explorative and gentle pup we'd seen from the beginning. He managed to sneak in with the horse now at bed times, and we could do nothing about it because the first few times we didn't find him til we came in in the mornings. When one of us would put him back in the room after the first three times, he'd find a way to escape through the big door and get into the horse's stall, pretty sure Theadore had some sort of hand, er hoof, in this. Well, now Danner is about eight months old and living it up with his very close friend still, rambunctious, wild, and playful as ever, and it seems to have rubbed off on the gelding as well.
