I love fish and I've been meaning to take this one. I tried basing him off the goldfish, but it didn't end up to well. To do the coloring, first completely color it with the off-white, and then use the lighter orange. Set the pen or w/e to a lower opacity and dot around. then take the darker orange and do the same thing as well as the black/grey. It's supposed to replicate a scaling affect, but draw him with solid if you want. And finally to smooth the design a little you can take the airbrush and just do the edges of the orange. His hair is just a mix of calico colors, but I can change that for you if you would like a solid color. ^^
For the blue pallet, I planned on drawing some accessories for him if you would like!
