least favorite thing about spring; the cherry blossom trees are beautiful in any way. the only way she doesn't like them, though, when they're stripped of their petals because of a brutal spring storm. elodie hates the way how temperatures and storms come without warning: mostly it's just the fluctuation between sunny days and a sudden bout of rain and clouds that sometimes happens in less than an hour. elodie's largest pet peeve is a storm during the blooming of the cherry blossom trees only to have all the hard work spent blooming wasted to a gust of wind. she tends to pluck a sprig from her tree every year to store it inside. she doesn't throw the sprigs out even after they wither.
