Élodie 'Ichigo' Fontaine
Élodie was given the nicknamed Ichigo by her friends, who
thought it's sweet tone matched her soft colourings and supposed,
'Shy' nature. It translates into Strawberry from Japanese.

Personality
Being of a Cancer Star sign, Ichigo is loyal, friendly and imaginative,
and she seems to crave attention, though she hates to admit it. Ichigo
can become quite snobby at times, and also very jealous of those who
appear to have copied or done better than her. She's also quite sly,
sometimes down-grading her self-esteem and feeding off all of the
undeserved compliments and attention she may receive. Ichigo is a
keen, bright bean; an ambitious one at that, and is often learning
new things and languages. Ichigo is also a glutton, almost always
snacking on something, whether it be sweets, or her favorite food
Strawberries. This obsession with sugary products has damaged
her dental health, as now she is required to wear Red, Green and cream
coloured braces.

Hobby
Elodie is a skilled harvester, and is always seen harvesting fruit
to eat, use as decoration, or turn into other recipes. Although, it
is usually something sweet and tasty! Elodie's favorite fruit is a
strawberry, as you can make so many different things with this one
item, edible, wearable, or decoration! After making these products,
she usually sets up a stall at the local market, selling the products
and saving up the money.
Why you may ask?
There are two major goals Elodie has in life, her first, is to become
a well-known fruit brander and salesman, which is something she is
slowly working up to, and with her remaining money, she wants to
buy a hot air balloon, and take her family for a ride in it!

grandmother and was passed down through generations, so it's

Personality: Bonnie looks very well behaved from a distance, but this child is a monster.
She whines about the littlest things, even when it has nothing to do with her. Everything
has to be O-K with her, or else it's not going. At times things do go by her and she is
ignored, her usual solution is a tantrum. So if screaming, crying, and whining were a sport,
she would be a champion in the Olympics.
Hobby: Bonnie was raised as a perfect young girl, living in a big mansion and having
everything. Since Bonnie was fancy, the things that her family taught her were quite dainty
too. They had taught her many things to partake as a hobby, and it took her quite a while
to choose. This talent that she chose, is egg shell carving, such as this.

Egg Carving is an early form of art. People have always though the shape of an egg really cool,
which has inspired the creation of this hobby. During older times, people found egg carving as
a symbol. Even now, everyone loves egg art because of many reasons, but whatever the reason,

Amalia is very good at making things out of leather, and has a great singing voice, artistic talent, and is all together very good at any form of art. She is always thinking of new ways to paint this or decorate that, and she has a zesty imagination.

All this creativity can be used in a witty, rude way sometimes. It is true that Amalia can be rude, and often says just the right thing to make you feel bad, but she doesn't realize she's doing it and will always apologize afterwards.

You come from a long line of strong women.

She is an emotionally strong, independent, "lets it roll off like water on a ducks back" kinda gal. Nothing really phases her, she doesn't care (much) what others think and doesn't depend on their opinions. As her mother always said, "You came from a long line of strong women, and I expect you to carry on that line."

Being strong and brave, Amalia is also adventurous. Her dream is to travel to each continent to explore the many wonders of this world and teach the natives how to make leather bracelets.

Amalia's hobby is leather working, so to say, and making little leather crafts. She can make earrings, notebooks, belts, shoes, and, her specialty, bracelets. Amalia uses leather scraps from her father, as he was a leather worker. She learned most of what she knows from him. She and her father both work in the back room of her father's shop.
Amalia can make several types of bracelets, ones that wrap and 2+ times with a buckle or a button, The four braid bracelets, and just a normal bracelet with a buckle or button. She decorates her bracelets with little rhinestones and stamps, that she hammers on with a small mallet. She uses special tools, like the heavy duty hole-punch, to make her bracelets.
Then after she's made a few hundred bracelets, she goes to the fair and sells them for 8 dollars each. Although she is very talented already, Amalia is still learning and improving her technique of bracelet making!

I always wear a reddish bracelet my Daddy made for me. I wear it everywhere I go and almost never take it off.

A Gift Like No Other

For Mother's Day, Amalia made her Mother a special bracelet. It is an olivey green/black color, double-wrapped with a golden buckle. She decorated the brace;et with hearts, rhinestones, and the word "Mom." These are pictures of the bracelet. Amalia is very excited for Mother's day and cannot wait to give her mother the gift she has prepared!

This girl is a bean who lacks in self-confidence, and is as fragile as a porcelain china doll. Priscilla has yet to discover the wonders that lay outside her comfort zone, and has not established a single sense of risk taking. She tends to mull over every possible outcome of a situation to avoid anything involving any element of risk and always insists on having company whenever and wherever she goes.

Priscilla is a very emotional/fragile bean and is easily offended by the smallest of things. She tends to take things to heart, and feels as though every ounce of negativity in the air is centered towards her, even when she has done nothing wrong. Quite often you can find her on the brink of tears or a blubbering mess, unable to speak. Due to this incessant 'whining' she is often seen/comes off as a brat, which is not true in the slightest. Priscilla is always doubtful of other beans intentions, and has suspicion in the back of her mind 24/7. She has met many faux exteriors and has suffered through a traumatizing experience that occurred during her late childhood, which in turn developed into trust issues. Quite often, Priscilla will keep to herself, avoiding socialization with unfamiliar beans. This is primarily due to trust issues, and the unwillingness to go out of her comfort zone. In many instances, she prefers solitude as opposed to meeting a new potential friend. In other words, her shell is quite difficult to crack. Rushing this girl will certainly not get you far. When rushed, she feels pressured. When pressured you becomes increasingly flustered/agitated and cannot think the same. Typically if things get too much for her, everything is just put aside for an indefinite amount of time, often not getting re-started for days, even weeks. Despite all of this, Priscilla longs for affection. To her it is like oxygen. Something she cannot go without. "Life without love, is not life at all." - Leonardo Da Vinci. The thing that appeals to her most about affection is the feeling of being accepted. Being loved. Being wanted.

Priscilla's recreational pass time is collecting shells, in turn creating items/accessories to those close. She has been fascinated with the structure and appearance of any and all types of shells since she was able to open her eyes (early childhood, not literally since she could open her eyes) and has been collecting them since she was a mere 5 years of age. After 12 years you'd think she'd have quite the collection, and you'd be right! This collection not only accommodates shells, but also her own personal collection of self-made shell accessories. The making of these shells happens in her small house-bound workshop or a simple spot on the shoreline, but is often a tedious process due to many 'outsider' interference. The necklaces that are made in the workshop are not very common, as Priscilla is very selective as to who she bestows a necklace upon. Typically, the only recipients are family and 'pretty-much-blood-related' friends. Overall, Priscilla's favourite aspect is the individuality of each and every piece and would not trade her hobby (for better or for worse) for the world.

Priscilla can typically be found wearing only 2 accessories, a shell necklace that she made and a shell 'tailband' whose origin is unknown. (Just for viewer assistance, the necklace is similar in appearance to: this and the tailband is somewhat based off: this) Priscilla is quite proud of the complexity of her necklace, she loves the fact that it also looks stylish and stands-out amongst other beans accessories showing individuality. She does not know where the tailband came from/originated as she did not make it, the band was a childhood gift.

Personality:
Kess is a friendly bean, although she is a bit of a tomboy! She enjoys browsing through comic books and actually loves it! More or less reading them. cx Kess doesn't mind getting her paws dirty, she happily will do things that involve her physical attention. She is a bit athletic, but she is secretly a geek! ;v; As I mentioned before, Kess loves her comic books, but she's actually really into it! The young bean, however, can be rather blunt at times. She can be adventurous, since she loves to try new things! Her creativity never ceases to end, due to that being she can be very hardworking. Kess is loyal and has a large sense of independence. Her nature can be forgiving and gentle, but that doesn't stop her more strong side. Despite all of her positive natures, Kess can be self-critical at times. She always tries to make things the closest to perfection as possible. This JBD can be self-conscious of herself, in a sense of how others judge her and what not. However, she can be childish at times. Kess loves to goof around with close friends and family, just in a fun sense.

Reading Comic Books >> Just Hanging Out by Snow! >> Some may argue comic books are for males, but Kess breaks that stereotypical note. Comic books are her life – she reads and collects them! Kess enjoys mostly marvel and DC comic books. Marvel, however, would be her top pick from those. She loves Captain America, Spiderman, Iron Man, the Uncanny X-Men and many others! As for DC comics, she mostly loves Superman and Batman, but she is entertained by the others! The older comic books are preferred be her to read, even if some were made before she was born, due to the fact she gets a taste of what they are originally like. Kess grew up with comic books and never had she regretted picking up that book — an old Captain America issue. Her discovery of comic books were revolutionary in her life. Since she is a YFS-C, she won't be growing up anytime soon. Kess realized that she wasn't the key one who may be a bit different. It isn't that unusual for a bean to be YFS, but Kess always had that unsettling feeling because she does have YFS. The days would pass by and she wouldn't mature, but Kess would sit back and see her friends grow up and have families. However, the young bean would still be young, or at least under the YFS's spell. However, when seeing these super heroes who come and save the day, they are different. They have courage, they have super qualities... this makes Kess feel accepted. Henceforth why her favorite character is Captain America. He had undergone a transformation, something that would change his life forever. Kess faced the same situation — the YFS-C. She had always shared a lovely connection with him, for that reason. She learned something that day... don't be too dubious about what you do, you can be anything you want to be. Let your dreams skyrocket, but don't let gravity hold you back.

Captain America Shield and Star Clips >> #TooAmazingForYou by Snow! >> As I mentioned before, Kess adores Captain America. Her Star clips are on her head, near her ear, and on her tail. There are 6, 3 on her tail and 3 on her head. They're each red, white and blue to represent the patriotic colors. Kess received them as a gift at a young age and she's worn them since. They aren't apart of her, they simply clip onto her fur. Also, Kess has a shield strapped around her. The strap goes around her chest and the shield is placed on her back. It isn't real, it is actually a lightweight tin. It is very bendable and light, easy for a young bean to carry. The strap isn't anything really special, it's actually an ordinary strap of leather. She got it as a gift from a friend, at a very young age. Kess didn't know much about Marvel yet, but she ended up keeping it. However, that one day when she discovered our good friends the comic books, she realized what it was. It was modeled after Captain America's shield! After that, Kess kept it with her everyday. The young bean also carries a couple comic books in her pouch -- although it is not seen in my drawing. Generally there is Marvel and DC comic stored in her pouch, but the actually type can vary on her mood. She tends to put different ones and different amounts in her pouch depending on what her schedule is. If she doesn't have much to do, a lot of Captain's will be in her pouch! xD

With ~LunarSky~'s Annie

R-r-rip! The cutting sound split against the crisp air. Kess glanced over at her friend, Annie. Annie was a bean around the age of her, with a large green husky-like marking layered on a soft shade of white. A swirling green pattern was placed on her back, then yellow stripes on her tail. Yellow spots, like dandilions flowing on a clear day, were upon her legs. "Oops!" Annie squeaked. Kess saw the pages rip apart, beneath Annie's claws. It was an accident, but Kess saw what it was instantly. She could feel a bit of anger boiling up in her body, but she tried to conceal it. Kess was looking at an old comic books, out of its case, flayed on the group. It was Marvel's the Hulk, pictures of the Hulk split. Kess held back, then said through the grit of her teeth, "Its okay." She began to shuffle up the pieces, then Annie's voice rang out. "I'm sorry!" The floral bean stated. Kess shook her head, still gathering it up. "Maybe we can tape it back together!" Annie said with a cheery tone. Kess perked up a bit, beaming at Annie. "Sure!" Kess squeaked. Annie smiled back, going over to a desk in the room and grabbed the tape. Kess began to arrange the pieces together, then came the tape. The sticky tape was layered on the rough parchment, the book becoming mended.

Kess picked up the book soon after, holding it up to the light. She sighed quietly. "It doesn't look right..." Kess stated. Annie gazed over at it as well, the comic book still tattered. It really didn't look how it was supposed to... then a voice richochetted off the walls. "I know!" Annie screed happily. Annie ran off, leaving Kess with the book. Kess inspected the book carefully, not sure what do do next. Annie soon bounced into the room, paper and other assorted materials in her paw. Kess cocked her head in a confused manner. "What's that for?" She asked quietly. Annie gave Kess a piece if paper, then said, "We can make our own comic book!" Kess almost bounced out of her seat, forgetting her frustration. "Yey! That sounds fun!" Kess replied happily. Kess took a crayon, beginning to make a panel. Annie drew her part too, both were scribbling away. In time, the were smiling at their work. The title cover read "The Adventures of Annie and Kess". Inside, there was colorful pictures of the two going on adventures and meeting new friends. After reading it over, the two were discussing their next book. Kess learned that day that friendship is greater than the values taken for granted.
