wishes. the plural form, i just have a wish. a single
want that i'd love to live through.

My name is Nahbi. It means "very secret".




I'm a boy, but people think i'm a girl all the time. So you can call me "he" or "she", i don't really care.





Wishes are... something really special. I'm afraid because i never told about them to someone. They are secrets. And i love secrets! So, that's why i have three wishes.

1. "Why can't we be friends?"
I have a friend. His name is Winnie. I play with Winnie all the time. We make tea parties and play games. But people tell me all the time Winnie isn't real. They call him an… imaginary friend. That makes me really angry because he is real. I can see him. At night or when an adult is near, Winnie always disappear, but he’s always there on the next day. He’s my only friend in the world and I don’t want people to think he’s just imaginary. So, my secret wish is: I wish people see Winnie.

2. "Is there anybody out there?"
I can't go outside too much because of this disease i have. I must be with an oxygen bomb all the time in my nose and i hate it. I live on this big, fancy house, near this forest, with all these autumn trees, but nothing worths if i'm stuck here forever.
I don't know how's the world outside.
So, my second wish is: i wish i could leave this house.

3. "We don't need gravity here in the afterglow"
My last wish is simple: "i want the sunset to last forever."
It's such a little thing. A moment in the day nobody cares. But here, from the window of my room, lying on my bed, i can see the sun going down, disappearing behind the orange trees. And this moment of the day is when i feel strongest. It's like this sky is a small gift just for me. But it lasts just some minutes. And then, the night comes. And i'm alone again.

1. I want to live in a pain-free world.
There is nothing worse then suffering from or
witnessing pain and discomfort. I don't like it, and
I'm pretty sure most don't like it either. And it
worries me that this global unsatisfaction is growing
worse day by day. I try not to think about it, but
I simply cannot forget it, but I'm also scared to share
my opinions. Other's will think they're weird, that I'm weird.

2. I wish that I could become human for a while.
Humans have always facinated me, the way they talk, their
lifestyles, and also their many different cultures. If I could be
human, I would spend my time wisely, but I would also try to
leave my mark in time. To be remembered long after my passing.
For doing something good, that will change the way that everbody
thinks and lives.

3. I want to travel in time.
I wouldn't care whether it was forward or backward, but there
are so many things that I have missed and that I'm going to miss.
There are also many wrong decisions I have made in my life, so
many that I want to change for the better. I'd like to see a
day where diseases were a thing of the past and global warming
is now non-existent, and where I'll end up in the future and how
I could make myself better.

Ever since I was a kid, I've always looked up at shooting stars and made a wish, the very same wish I would make every birthday when I blew out the candles. Of course, I never told anyone, because then my wish wouldn't come true.
My little private dream was always to go to the ocean. Don't tell anyone, alright?
I've never been to the ocean before, mainly because we live so far away. I've always wished to visit the beach and maybe even make a hammock inbetween two palm trees.
