This depicts her for a few reasons, She is feeling different for awhile but doesn't care, she basically is kicked out of her herd for being different, So she is struggling to find food and shelter, having trouble sleeping and the "strange men" part means she is feeling like an outsider and doesn't know anybody. She is very smart and daydreams a lot, and as time goes on Nyx is getting more depressed, and is feeling that life can be the easiest thing to get but must use it wisely, She is getting a bit more depressed each night until she stops going outside and struggles to find more food, even quarreling with other horses but keeps losing, she then daydreams about somewhere else until she falls in love with a stallion.
