In all honestly, I don't have a valid reason for the name. I could have made something up or look up the meaning but niether of those would be how I got to and picked out his name. I never really have a solid thought through name for adopts. No names matching the appearance or a specific meaning to go with them. Even just looking at the Equids i didnt get from a breeding...neither name fully meant anything, Kaspian, Hurricane and Sven were just names I felt matched in every way just like how I feel Prescott does. Its more my breedings that get thought of more as I have more pressure to find a name then one I just liked. And for this Equid I really like the name I picked out for him. His name went through a couple thoughts but the one that stuck the most in my head was the one containing Scott. as Scott was the only name that I connected with through the dozens of names I went through. None quite stuck like it did. However, Scott by itself didnt fully fit and it took a while to find the right version of it. Prescott has a fuller name, one more gentle on the tongue the just Scott alone, not a strong sharp sounding name but one you can almost hear the wind whisper through the grass. Continuing with that name it flows very smooth and gently in my mind with the second half of his name. Its not much of a reason or an explanation, but that is how I put Prescott Jones together as his name.
