What are Lykotaris?



Lykotaris are a recently discovered canine species, their name deriving from the Greek words for Lion(Liontari) and Wolf(Lykos), so called for the tuft of long fur on the tip of their thin tails and the thick manes on their necks. Lykos are the size of a small pony, sporting long fur, legs and ears. They appear to be a very advanced species, with the ability to communicate with many other species, animal and human alike. Each one has a bandanna wrapped around their forehead, holding their hair out of their eyes. Loyal and friendly, Lykotaris will capture your heart!

Introducing her royal highness, Princess Taeryn (Tay - rin). "Tae" comes from the language called "Marori" and it name means "Color". Her gender is female and she prefers to be called Tae instead of Taeryn.

❝Why, Hello! In case you couldn't figure this out on your own, I'm Taeryn. Please just call me Tae or Princess Tae. I'm sparing my precious time to tell you all a little story about Yours Truly. I won't go on into the details, but I feel you must have a basic gist of who I was, who I am, and who I aspire to be. With that said, I'll start from the beginning of my lovely "fairy-tale" story on life.

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful baby girl born to a pair of very happy, proud, and rather wealthy Lykos. They were as happy as could be and even if they weren't royalty, their little princess was. Yes, that little princess was me, at such a tender age. They named their little princess Taeryn, Tae coming from the language of Marori and means "color". But the name "Tae" wasn't...royal enough. So I was named Taeryn. I was also raised to believe that I was special, beautiful, and important. And rightly so!

After a few years, I began to develop myself, academically-wise. When I was 3 years old, I started to drown myself in books and learning. I was riveted by knowledge at a young age and I had a deep, burning desire for a more formal education. Of course, my mum and dad couldn't bear to say no to their sweet little princess. So I had a 5-star private teacher teach me everything from mathematics to grammar and from languages to history all in the comfort of my home! After I finished my schooling, I was one of the sharpest Lykos and my parents were very proud of my accomplishments.

I then furthered my education at the interest of science. My favorite science of course was anything with hands-on projects, do-it-yourself, and making new substances. Science really intrigued me because I made my own cake one time without even knowing! I just mixed a bunch of ingredients and popped it in my little oven. Out it came and viola! A cake. Not beautiful, and most definitely not great tasting. But hey, I was still pretty young (around 10-12?) and happened to make my own cake without looking at a recipe!

Then...I went through the 'music stage'. Unlike my past endeavors, this wasn't so royal or proper. To be honest with you, my first kind of music I fell in love with was bands like Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce the Veil, etc. I slowly changed my style from rock/punk to rock/pop. I soon fell in love with bands like Blink-182, 5 Seconds of Summer, etc. But I also love popular artists like One Direction, Katy Perry, and many more!

I also went through that long process about not knowing what sexuality you are. But after a long thought and experimenting a few times, I found out that I am a lesbian! I love being around other women that treat themselves like royalty, although I would for sure be the more womanly one in the relationship.

Now...I believe that's it, the stages of my beautiful life up until this point. I am looking forward to many years of fun and exciting new things in my world to explore, discover and create the possibilities for my future are endless, so I won't even attempt to predict anything. That's all for my fairytale for now, Ta-Ta Darling!❞

Optimistic;; Tae is a very happy, bright Lyko. She always looks for the best in every situation. She believes that everything always turns out right in the end and she tries her hardest to turn everyone's frown into a smile.

Proper;; Being raised the was she was, Taeryn has high standards when it comes to everything. Silverware must be shining; teacups rubbed clean; and the table set correctly. She is very mannerly, polite, and has a strict self-discipline of herself. She always strives to be the best at everything, most presentable, and well behaved Lyko. Even if that includes sitting up straight.

Confident;; Someone as excellent as Tae has to have perfect self confidence at all times. How could she not? She's perfection, flawless, stunningly beautiful. She has been fed these compliments on a silver platter since she could talk. Adored by all, she has no reason to feel doubt in herself and her abilities. She radiates self confidence.

Outgoing;; Taeryn is a social butterfly. She loves to share her talents and gifts with others and tries to include everyone in activities. Even the not so elegant Lykotaris are welcomed by her friendly smile. She is never complete when she's alone and is only truly happy when with others around her.

Gentle;; She has a gentle touch, not only in her paws. She is very sensitive to others' emotions and opinions. She respects everyone's inner beauty and uniqueness. Tae treats everyone as if they were herself. She shows a unique kindness and is one of the best Lykos to come to for advice.

Why i chose her name
i didnt have a name in mind as soon as i saw her,
but i did know i wanted something floral.
but i didnt want to pick something overuse
like rose or lilac.
i was searching for some nice flower images
to decorate my form with, when i came across
a flower called Blue Delphinium.
its blue and purple color reminded me
of the colors of her marking.
however Delphinium
can be a handful to say(and type)
so i also picked a cute nickname.

" "Never!!" shouted Violet "SHHH! Do you want to bring the whole school out here? " hushed Sprinkles. "Oh, you need your little crumby friend to stand up for you, don't you?" "No, I don't. I could kill you if I set my mind to it." growled Violet. "Violet-" "Really, now? I'd like to see you try" "I'll come back with your tail to prove it!" "Violet, don't!" Sprinkles called, to late. The two Lykos where locked in a fight. Sprinkles looked around, worriedly. a teacher was coming, and she couldn't let her friend get in trouble. "Mrs. F! Mrs.F!" she called, running to the teacher. "Nori attacked Violet!! She needs help!!" :what are you doing out here, Sprinkles?" "Nori chased Violet out through the window, and I followed her because she is my best friend!! And now she needs help!!" Sprinkles wailed. "all right, all right. I'm coming." Mrs. F replied. " Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!!!"cried Sprinkles. "They're over here!" Sprinkles bounded off in the direction of the fighting Lykotaris. "Violet!" she called. "Mrs. F is coming!" "Nori! Violet! Stop fighting this instant!" Violet and Nori jumped up as they heard the teacher's voice. "What are you doing out here?" "Violet attacked me!!" wailed Nori. "What? No! Nori chased me out here, and attacked me!" called Violet, hearing Sprinkles story. "Very well, Violet. Sprinkles tells me the same thing. Nori, It's detention for you." "But-" "No buts. that's that. Come along now. " as soon as Mrs. F and a very angry Nori had stalked away, Violet said "My, Sprinkles, you are very good at lying." "Be glad about it, Violet. " Sprinkles replied. "it saved you." "I guess it did." They both began to laugh.
