Ducky's favorite Easter activity certainly has to do with her name. The day before Easter, she goes to the store and buys as many ducklings that she can. Then, on Easter day, she gives them out to young Kiamaras and friends to be their little fluffy companions. She loves doing this, as it means the ducklings get to go to very nice homes. But on occasion, most of them never leave Ducky's house as she keeps them to herself.

Hyacinth's favorite Easter activity is collecting the eggs to be decorated! She travels a lot but is partial to mountainous environments as they're the prime egg hunting grounds. Birds that nest on shallow cliff faces, such as cliff swallows and guillemot birds, lay eggs that are pointed on one end. This causes them to roll in circles when disturbed instead of tumbling over the cliff and falling. Now the fun part for Hyacinth, is finding these nests and collecting these eggs safely for decorating!

Carrying a basket either on her tail or in her delicate jaws, she wanders about to carefully locate the peculiarly shaped eggs. She loves the look of these pointed eggs once they're all nice and painted. However, she's a clumsy painter herself so she very rarely tries to decorate eggs on her own... Of course she never wants to take any fertile eggs, so she holds them up to the sunlight and finds the ones that are hollow inside! Traversing cliff faces in order to find eggs is definitely a perilous task, but she enjoys the difficulty and freedom it presents at once. She feels connected to nature when she's up high searching for new eggs to take back to be painted by the community. Easter isn't a year long event, but she'll commonly undertake this task even when Easter has long since passed for the year. Collecting eggs has become a joyous sport to her and she enjoys doing so even when she's just finding a meal for herself or her friends.

The act of collecting has always sparked Hyacinth's interests since she was little. Finding things that she liked and being able to obtain new variations of these objects filled her with an indescribable happiness, and provoked many smiles from her childish face. She would collect things like flowers and mushrooms, but eggs always held a special place in her heart. Her dear family first introduced egg hunting to her as an Easter activity and she marveled at the many different colors those eggs were painted. As she grew older it became her mission to spread the same ecstasy to other young kits besides herself. Even though the magic of finding the eggs pre-painted has been long since lost over time, Hyacinth still finds happiness in collecting eggs to be colored for other youngsters to find. Easter morning has to be her favorite since she can sit and watch the joy that she's spread through her actions. It's for this reason that she still collects eggs and it has become her favorite activity in the world. Collecting was just the start, but it's the feeling that she gets and that she can give to others that has made this her favorite activity. She spends countless hours finding the perfect eggs to be delivered. After-all, eggs can't be painted if there's no eggs to paint!

favorite easter activity// Every year, Auserie spends easter at her grandmothers house. A tradition, she has enjoyed from her early ages. As Easter morning approaches, Auserie wakes up and begins the hunt for her Easter basket. This is such a special activity for Auserie simply because once she finds the basket, and 'opens' it... there is always a very special gift waiting for her. Every year, Auseries Grandmother gifts her, what she deems as the best sort of gift ever, a sweater. Thats right, each year she receives a sweater from her Grandmother. The cliche story of the "awful grandma sweater" has never struck Auserie. Shes adored each and every single one of the sweaters that her Grandmother has give her, developing a collection along the way. Even if they are a bit eccentric... She doesnt mind... Because that is just how Auserie is...Eccentric, and she loves it! With the sweater, Auserie has also always received items like, skipping ropes, bubbles, and yes good old chocolate. But it remains to be seen that this has become Auseries favorite Easter moment, because she shares it with her favorite Kia on the planet, her Grandma.
